Let me start by saying that I have never been to a chiropractor before so I didn't know what to expect. I made an appointment here after being highly recommended this practice in particular by my midwife to try and get aligned/make sure I was aligned to try and get labor to begin, or in the least to help things go smoothly once labor did begin. I've been told Dr Gunn does have plenty of experience with pregnant people and i was grateful for that. It was easy to call and schedule an appointment, they do have some weird hours on Wednesday I believe, but they are open some evenings so it was nice to have that option. The office was fairly easy to find and get to, it's located in a strip mall type building. The office was clean when I arrived. I had some paperwork to do and paid the fee for 1 alignment which was only $35. (It is definitely more cost effective to do a bundle deal if you plan to be back several times, I wasn't sure if I would be back as this was my first experience with a chiropractor ever). The alignment went well as far as I know haha, there were some limitations as I was 39 weeks pregnant at the time, but Dr Gunn was accommodating to that. It sounded like he prefers to see pregnant people a few times during their pregnancy for best results, but he definitely did what he could. I did some stretching and he used the massage gun on me as well. The room felt like there was enough space, but small enough to feel private. He was very professional and because it was my first time at a chiropractor, I really appreciated him explaining exactly what he was going to do and how it would help/why he was doing it. It was a clean establishment. However, I have emailed Dr. Gunn many times to see if he can help my throat problem, but he has never replied. Secondly, I had an appointment for a massage. I thought I was going to get a massage to massage out neck kinks. However, I got a full body massage, which I found OK. I prefer a female, and not a male, to massage my naked body. Dr Haddock is a lifesaver. He's helped find some unique options for my neck curvature issues and all of the recommendations he has given me for my shoulder pain have helped tremendously (with some consistency on my part). This is my second review for Dr. Gunn. I'm leaving this review because I wanted to update my earlier one from a while back. As I said in my earlier review, I have planter fasciitis. Dr. Gunn has been treating it for the past few years now. Before, running wasn't really an option for me because it was just too painful. But after seeing Dr. Gunn and getting it treated regularly for the past few years, I've now gotten back into running. I've run 3 half marathons since summer 2015, I'm scheduled to do my 4th half marathon this December and my first full marathon in April 2017. There's no other chiropractor I'd rather see and trust than Dr. Gunn. read more

I popped my SI joint one night so badly I literally could not stand up straight. The next morning I called first thing and they got me in (my regular chiro was out of town). They did great, and I was still hurting, but noticeably better when I left, and more than 50% better within the next day. I also have recurring neck issues that chronically ail me, but a good adjustment will hold for awhile and free up a lot of motion for me. I was really pleased and felt a lot of relief from that as well. I came back several weeks later for a follow up when my lower back was acting up again. So far I have really liked this chiropractor. He seems like he knows his stuff and is honest with me and my family. He seems to want to provide quality care but he doesn't push anything on you. Dr. Gunn is amazing! I remember driving to my first visit and being so nervous. I had never been to a chiropractor before and I had no idea what to expect. I walked in and was given a warm welcome by Kimberly at the front desk. She got me all checked in and took me back to the room. I had both my kids with me and they were able to get some crayons and coloring pages and take them back with us. When Dr. Gunn walked in he was sweet and had a very professional manor to him. I am incredibly dissatisfied with my experience at The Works. After purchasing several groupons for "massages," I went to get mine (bought two others as gifts). My "masseuse" then informed me that not only did she not have a massage table available, she also wasn't trained to give massages and said she would essentially be doing a chiropractic exam. I told her that is not what I paid for, so she rubbed my neck and shoulders (poorly I should add) and said that is all she could do. She told me that when my husband went to do his massage, he needed to specify that he wanted the actual masseuse (she was apparently busy as they sold more groupons than they could clearly handle), which should have been inferred from the fact that I bought a MASSAGE. Then after scheduling an appt that I cannot keep because of a work conflict, they told me that they were completely booked until 2012 (groupon expires 12/9), but that they were extending the expiration through December. I informed her this did me absolutely no good as my husband had not yet been able to use his groupon and she is telling me they have no available spots and then proceeded again to tell me they would not honor it, even though it is their fault they don't have the staff to cover the business generated by Groupon. Point of the story...SAVE YOUR MONEY. read more
