Amazing. I couldn't move my neck for two weeks and I got the massage therapy with Emily and she had magic hands.

There was an instance where I had an annual wellness checkup and the doctor asked me if I had any concerns about my general health. I mentioned that I was experiencing back pain and he offered to write me a muscle relaxant prescription. I should have known I would be charged a separate "back consultation" fee for bringing it up during this visit. I was dissatisfied with the clinic in that they didn't tell me it was anything other than a wellness visit (which is paid for by my insurance provider). I was later charged for a back consultation, which took me by surprise. Other than this, I've had a fine experience with this clinic. In general, I think the healthcare industry needs to be more transparent with consumers. It's also important that we as consumers make it known that we want transparency by asking for the full details and costs of every service to make sure we know what we're getting into.

I tend to get ear infections a lot, so I end up seeing him about once every 3 months. He explains everything in ways that you understand and has a sense of humor that is refreshing at the doctor's office. A few months ago, he even stayed late for me. I had woken up on a Friday not feeling great, thought I was coming down with something. Around 11:45 am, I finally decided that maybe going to the doctor was a good idea. I called his office and they told me that he was off at noon that day, but how soon could I get there? I was in my pajamas, but got dressed as quickly as I could and rushed over there. It was about 12:20, so maybe waiting 20 minutes for me doesn't sound so crazy, but he was really pleasant about it and I appreciated his thoughtfulness, especially since if he hadn't offered to wait, I would have had to wait 3 more days until Monday to see him. The receptionist here is very very nice too, making pleasant conversation while you're checking in, which is really nice, when you think about everyone she checks in everyday. The location is pretty good, although making a left turn out when you're leaving can be very difficult.

When I questioned the office about this additional charge, they explained that discussions about my monthly cycle and menopause symptoms were not considered part of the annual exam and thus incurred extra fees. According to them, an annual exam only covers a breast exam and a pap smear--nothing more. This was surprising to me, as my previous OB-GYN routinely discussed my monthly cycle and general health without additional charges. Despite reaching out multiple times and leaving messages for the office manager, I never received a response

Most labs come back in a day and I'm notified immediately, this is super fast compared to a medical facility that I previously worked at. All of the Medical Assistants that I have had were excellent and caring. My only concern was the billing department not being up to date. The front office person told me I owed $30. which I had already paid 2 months prior, and it wasn't even for this office/doctor. She didn't believe me when I told her and gave me a dirty look. I felt this was very unprofessional of her and the next time I came in I had the proof with me. Going to a doctor shouldn't cause more anxiety but because I have had no other issues in over 30yrs I will not take any "stars" from my review. I have also gone to 2 other lady practitioners in this practice (Margaret and Jackie and they were wonderful also but avoid Dr. Bulaj as she is the worst doctor I've ever experienced in my life. I can't imagine how she can still be working there or anywhere!

So the wait time is horrific so expect to wait! I came in there with my licensed service dog, which is a full red husky. I am her issues mobility issues. I can't go anywhere without her. She lets me know if I'm going to have another stroke, and her way of letting me know is howling. There are some people that think that she looks like a wolf.. she is very well behaved. She's always on her service dog leash. I came in one day and they put me on a small room on the other side of the office. Came in and let me know. I can no longer bring my dog in because there are people that are scared of her. I have PTSD MDD anxiety (all because of my son being murdered), terrible pain on my whole right side from an accident. Long story short they said I could no longer be seen with my dog so I get up and tell them it was not right because there were certain people that are scared of my dog. They immediately blocked my way of getting out of the doorway of the small room. I could not get out. They called me racist at the top of their lungs yelling at me blocking my way ice was very scared at this point shaking and crying. Because at that point, everyone from the office was circling around this one nurse that was yelling at me tell me I was racist. I had no way of getting out of the office to go through the doors to get out of the main waiting room. This was very upsetting to me. My dog at this point is howling because she's alerting to me. I knew my blood pressure was high. I mind you I've had strokes also so I'm very concerned about my health. I finally bust my way out of these people surrounding me I go to an urgent care and get my Blood pressure taken and it was stroke level they wanted to help me go to emergency. I would not go here for any kind of car whatsoever. It is terrible. The one doctor I did like is no longer there. The office care was not OK because they looked at me like I was evil as I was trying to get out of there that day. All I wanted was to get my test results from bloodwork I did a month previously, and they refused to give it to me . DO NOT GO TO ST. MARKS FAMILY MEDICINE! If I could give it a zero, I would.

My wife called up yesterday to make an appointment and was told because we didn't contact them within 60 days of Dr. Lee's retirement (something we were never told needed to be done in person or in written form) that we are now considered new patients and will be treated as such. My wife stated that she has to see a doctor to have her prescriptions renewed and was told because we are now new patients (again, we've been going here for over 30 years, but now we are new patients) that she would have to wait for one of the other doctors to pick her up and the wait will be extensive. She stated again that she's been a patient here for over 30 years, she's been seen by other doctors while Dr. Lee was on medical leave and that her prescription will run out before they get her in to see another doctor. She was then told that wasn't their problem and if her prescriptions ran out that that was on her not on them.....That's his exact words!!!!! He told her that's your problem not ours. That's the answer she was given after 30 years of patronage????? REALLY????? Absolutely unacceptable!!!! Now, I guess we will not only be finding a new doctor but a new medical clinic.
