Suzanne Cronin is the BEST chiropractor in the world! She solved what multiple chiropractor and…read moredoctor visits and multiple, unnecessary, ineffective prescriptions could not. I was one of her earliest patients, and a reluctant one--I even left a voicemail saying I don't believe in chiropractors but I'm coming in anyway , because I was at wit's end. After being in pain for over 6 months, I left after the first visit with 60% less pain. The second visit dropped it even more, and shortly after that I was pain free. Now I live in LA, but I still visit Dr. Cronin every time I'm in town. I wish I could clone her.

I have been warned my whole life never to see a chiropractor who doesn't start with an X-ray. Now I…read moreknow why. When I filled out the intake form and it asked why I was seeking chiropractic care I didn't actually know what to say. I had just had a baby, and we bought the family discount pack, so it seemed like a good thing to do. But other than an old shoulder injury I didn't really have any issues. The adjustment from Suzeanne felt violent. I've never experienced an adjustment like that before from the handful of other chiropractors I have seen. And afterwards I was so dizzy that I couldn't drive home for almost an hour. She said it was increased blood flow to my brain after unblocking a restriction (makes sense). But afterwards I had a headache for a week and a half, and this weird catch in my neck that would only resolve if I let my head hang down for a while. My follow-up wasn't for two weeks because we were out of town, and I almost didn't go because of my previous experience. But she came so highly recommended, and I liked her so much personally, that I thought it was worth another try. I at least wanted to discuss my experience with her. The second adjustment wasn't anywhere near as violent, but the headache came back, and I can no longer resolve the catch by hanging my head. Now it's just constant pain. Hopefully this pain will go away at some point. It's been less than a week after the second visit and it took a massage to resolve it the last time (although the massage did not resolve the catch). But what I am mad at myself about is that I took my baby to see her a half dozen times before seeing her myself. Every single time my poor baby was super fussy for the rest of the day or even a couple of days. Suzeanne kept saying "that's not necessarily a bad thing," and I know that's true. But it wasn't a good thing!! Also we noticed no improvements in her reflux or suck. The idea that I might have let her hurt my baby the way that I got hurt is really tough to take. Again, I really liked Suzeanne a lot personally. But at the end of the day, I am in quite a bit of pain now when I wasn't in any before. Shame on me for messing with what wasn't broken I guess.

My only complaint is about their receptionists. They are rude, unhelpful, and always have a poor attitude. I have only had a good experience with one of them (the one that works the weekends). My other family members have had the same experience with the front desk. Book online & see the chiropractors! They are both amazing & get you results.

There is a lot I could say about this business; and, in fact, I did, but I found that Yelp simply…read moredidn't have the room for all that I wanted to say, so I decided to write a much more simple review. Dr. Cerami is a fantastic chiropractor who also is knowledgeable in muscle testing. His clinic also has two hypobaric chambers (HBOT), laser therapy, and Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM). The building also houses a massage therapist, a psychiatrist, and a nutritionist. While the name of the business has 'sports' in it, you do not necessarily need to be engaged in some kind of a sport to receive services. Unlike other medical offices, this one runs on time. You have your appointment and 95% of the time you will be in at the time of that appointment. The office does not accept insurance of any kind, but will give you a copy of any receipts you might need if you would like to try submitting them to your own insurance company. While this might be a deal breaker for some people, I have found that there is a massive difference in the care and customer service from a medical office that doesn't accept insurance verses one that does. I don't have enough room to do a full 'personal experience' review; however, I will be forever grateful that I found Utah Sports and Wellness (USW). Through the use of FSM I was able to get answers to pain and medical issues that eluded me and other medical professionals. It would not be too much to say that FSM saved my life, because I was at the point where I didn't think I could live another 40+ years with what I was going through. My own story is an abnormality in comparison with people who might normally walk through his door, but it's a solid place for me to recommend USW to anyone and everyone. It's Dr. Cerami's goal to get his patients out of pain as quickly as possible so they can get on with their lives, not to have them coming to his office three times a week for years on end. I have found Dr. Cerami to be knowledgeable and honest. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I made an appointment here after being highly recommended this practice in particular by my midwife to try and get aligned/make sure I was aligned to try and get labor to begin, or in the least to help things go smoothly once labor did begin. I've been told Dr Gunn does have plenty of experience with pregnant people and i was grateful for that. It was easy to call and schedule an appointment, they do have some weird hours on Wednesday I believe, but they are open some evenings so it was nice to have that option. The office was fairly easy to find and get to, it's located in a strip mall type building. The office was clean when I arrived. I had some paperwork to do and paid the fee for 1 alignment which was only $35. (It is definitely more cost effective to do a bundle deal if you plan to be back several times, I wasn't sure if I would be back as this was my first experience with a chiropractor ever). The alignment went well as far as I know haha, there were some limitations as I was 39 weeks pregnant at the time, but Dr Gunn was accommodating to that. It sounded like he prefers to see pregnant people a few times during their pregnancy for best results, but he definitely did what he could. I did some stretching and he used the massage gun on me as well. The room felt like there was enough space, but small enough to feel private. He was very professional and because it was my first time at a chiropractor, I really appreciated him explaining exactly what he was going to do and how it would help/why he was doing it. If I ever need chiropractic care again, I would not hesitate to return!

I typically don't write reviews, especially negative ones, but I wanted to give people a heads-up…read moreabout this chiropractic office--particularly if you're a larger person or plan to use your insurance here. 1 - I'm a bigger guy (6'6", 250 lbs), so I know I'm not the average-sized patient. Unfortunately, the few visits I had with Dr. Grant were completely worthless. I've had better adjustments from my adolescent child just walking on my back. If you're on the larger side, you may want to find a different doctor. I have since found a much better chiropractor, and the difference was night and day. Feel free to reach out if you're a larger person looking for recommendations. 2 - If you think the "massage beds" they put you on while waiting for the doctor are part of the adjustment, think again. If I remember correctly, they ended up trying to bill my insurance nearly $75 each time they put me on this outdated machine, which I'm pretty sure Dr. Grant purchased in the 1970s. 3 - Lastly, if you're using your insurance, make sure to verify exactly what they cover beforehand. They do offer a reasonable cash price, but if they bill your insurance, they charge 3-5 times that amount. If your insurance doesn't cover it, you're stuck paying the inflated rate. Remember the $75 massage beds from the 1970s? Yep, I ended up being charged several hundred dollars for that nonsense because my insurance provider incorrectly told me the visits were covered. When I found out they weren't, I was stuck with these ridiculously inflated rates. I tried to go back to Dr. Grant and ask if I could just pay the cash price instead, but I was told no--he had already sent me to collections, and "there was nothing he could do." This is everything that's wrong with the American healthcare system.

First visit, fine…read more SECOND visit they kept me there for THREE hours to do one adjustment. These 3 hours were filled with him bringing me half a dozen booklets, pamphlets, etc. on the benefits of chiropractics, about 30 mins explaining all of their financial plans, & him leaving the room 5X to treat other patients (he must have double booked clients?) He only finally adjusted me when I told him I had somewhere to be. His office called me a total of 5X in 5 days following that appointment trying to schedule me again, and only stopped when I told them I was finding a new provider and to stop calling. Overall, it felt like some sort of weird hostage negation situation trying to leave their office and get them to stop calling me. Dr Grant may be very knowledgeable about Chiropractics, however, sadly that was overshadowed by all the issues described above.

During my time as a patient, my services were abruptly ended following an incident that left me feeling uncomfortable and confused. I was accused of taking and throwing away a billing document belonging to my brother, who had previously been a patient. I denied this, as I had no involvement with his paperwork. At the time, the office had Easter decorations and eggs placed around the front desk area, including near where the document had been sitting. It seemed very possible that it was accidentally moved or knocked down by someone else, but despite this, I was pulled mid-session into a private office and questioned about it. I was told the concern was about trust and patient information, and shortly after, my care was discontinued. While I understand the importance of privacy, the situation felt handled in a way that was uncomfortable and disproportionate, especially given the lack of clear evidence. Additionally, during X-rays taken that same visit, I was instructed to adjust my posture immediately before the images were captured, which made me uneasy and raised questions for me in hindsight about how imaging was being used. This review isn't meant to make claims about intent or outcomes, and others may have had positive experiences. I'm sharing this for transparency, as professionalism, communication, and trust are important factors when choosing a healthcare provider.

Worst of all, the thrush persisted. Frustrated by ineffective prescriptions and harsh side effects, I turned to more natural solutions like probiotics, but I had no idea how much to take and which supplements would help get rid of the thrush/candida. I started looking for a Functional Medicine Doctor. and found Dr. Heidemann. At the first appointment I told him I just wanted to feel better--less nausea, fatigue, and brain fog, and to gain some weight. I was down to 111 lbs at one point which is very skinny for me. His supplement regimen made a noticeable difference. By the second round, I was eating normally and no longer nauseous or vomiting. A recent swab confirmed the thrush is finally gone!!
