I really like Sean Gunderson. I do not like the staff as they do not care about giving the doctor his messages. My son has been without his meds for 5 days and I have called repeatedly for a refill, as has the pharmacy. No response. My son's meds have to be refilled once per month and I get the runaround from the support staff EVERY month when trying to get his meds refilled. I am so tired of dealing with this that I am considering finding a new doctor's office. Sorry Sean - you are really great. Your staff, not so much. read more

I used to love coming to St. Mark's Primary when Dr. Corson was practicing there. He is a wonderful doctor. However, when he left the practice I went to see Dr. Dinh. I told the receptionist the reason for my visit, which included bloodwork. I was unaware that I needed to fast before this visit and was not given instructions to do so. Dr. Dinh told me I could either reschedule, or go ahead with the lab work knowing that the results could be inaccurate. Why would I want inaccurate lab results? Dr. Dinh had a very condescending tone when I asked him questions about my health. The visit was a waste of time. Gave this practice two stars (instead of one) because I do like the nurse practitioner there, Lisa Western. She is fantastic - professional and warm. read more

I used this clinic as my primary care clinic for two years (2014 and 2015) when living in Taylorsville, Utah. The scheduling and service was good. There was an instance where I had an annual wellness checkup and the doctor asked me if I had any concerns about my general health. I mentioned that I was experiencing back pain and he offered to write me a muscle relaxant prescription. I should have known I would be charged a separate "back consultation" fee for bringing it up during this visit. I was dissatisfied with the clinic in that they didn't tell me it was anything other than a wellness visit (which is paid for by my insurance provider). I was later charged for a back consultation, which took me by surprise. Other than this, I've had a fine experience with this clinic. In general, I think the healthcare industry needs to be more transparent with consumers. It's also important that we as consumers make it known that we want transparency by asking for the full details and costs of every service to make sure we know what we're getting into. read more

I have only had one visit but it was positive from start to finish. Called up the practice on Friday and although it is a little far from my house, they said they could see me Monday morning so they already were lightyears ahead of most of my experience with other doctors and clinics. PLUS, it was the actual receptionist at the actual office who picked up the phone and set the appt--not a call center or a maze of number-options. What a relief to talk to a human being!! Upon arrival, Front desk person was geniunely friendly and put me in a good mood. First impressions count! I came to find out she had been the one who scheduled my appt so fast the Friday prior, and i should also mention that she understood my specific reason for coming into the office and told me about all the things i needed to bring with me to satisfy the insurance minefield. (In my case, it was more than just an id and insurance card). That's again lightyears ahead of most support staff in 99% of my past experiences. Wait was less than 10 mins--very acceptable. Lisa Western exuded professionalism and confidence and was knowledgable and helpful. The appt was not rushed, she took her time to discuss a laundry list of new-patient questions I asked. As we talked, I felt (for the second time now) that she was going to do her best to help me navigate the insurance minefield, which (let's face it) is what makes the few doctor's office's that take the trouble to do it really stand out from the crowd these days. (This could easily turn into a longwinded sidenote, but it cannot be overstated how important this is: it's become such a tremendously daunting and frustrating issue dealing with insurance and doctor billing that it really does say EVERYTHING about a practice when they actually care enough about YOU, as a person, to try to help you avoid an insurance billing problem) I had planned to switch pcp's to someone closer to my home but I think Lisa Western may turn out to be worth the drive. read more

I've spent most of avoiding the Doctor's. After a while it becomes less about the fear of seeing the Doctor and more about the shame of not seeking healthcare. After about 13 years I finally took the steps to see a Doctor and Millcreek Primary Care who quickly but any feelings of shame to rest. I've never been more grateful for the compassion and care I received at the visit. I never felt like I was a burden and when I needed to have a follow up conversation a few days later, I quickly received a phone call from my Physician. I have been a patient of this office for over two years and have had nothing but problems with them. Your suppose to be able to schedule your appointment online but then later will get a call saying that appointment doesn't work for them. Then after you do schedule an appointment you start to receive automated calls saying you need to schedule your check up. Ummm I just did! To really top it off they have messed up a urine sample of mine and told me I needed to come back and do a repeat and they still charged me for it even though it was their error. Seriously the most difficult doctors office I have dealt with. Will most likely be finding a new doctor. read more

Do not bring your child to this doctor!! I was in the look for a new doctor coming from Davis county so I didn't have to drive to Farmington anymore. Needles to say I called millcreek primary care. I was seen be Rachel Tangaro. I have never felt more uncomfortable and unwanted. When I called to make the appointment it was for a prescription refill. I went to my appointment with my 5 year old son planning on him going to her week after cause I like to test the doctors out before they see my son. She treated him with the most disrespect I've ever seen a doctor treat my son. She made him seem like a bother after he even asked me why she didn't didn't like him. I didn't even get my perception refilled which is important cause she said she doesn't do that on the first visit. I ended up callin my old doctor and made an appointment with them. read more

I've been a patient here for about 5 years. There was a recent change in providers, and WOW! Lisa Western, NP is awesome! She is personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Goes that extra bit to make sure you're taken care of, understand the plan of care, and that you have been able to address everything you needed to. My waiting room times have never been more than 5-10 minutes. The MA's are great, front office is great too. I am just overall thrilled with my care. If you need a new PCP, I recommend this practice! And I'm an RN, not easy to please on healthcare matters! read more

Dr Lisa Western has been my primary care doctor for a couple of years now and I went to Dr Dihn previously before to get X-rays and my staples removed from having a splenectomy caused by a severe car accident I was in. I loved the service at first. I then went to Dr Lisa Western for my depression/anxiety meds. I felt like some things were not reviewed because I had mentioned before that I was a recovering addict and am not to be prescribed anything that would hinder that. Later on I was sick and got prescribed hydrocodone. However that was my only terrible experience there. After going back within a year I went and saw Dr Scott I believe. I felt very welcomed and felt that the my documents were reviewed very thoroughly and everything was met to standard. I went in originally because I had felt sick due to fever symptoms and ear ache symptoms. He reviewed my documents and realized I stopped taking my medications without consulting with my doctor (which definitely wasn't a good idea lol). I'm now back on my medications and we're gradually working on getting the dose for me. I highly recommend him. I felt ten times better about my doctor visit there. read more

Recently visited this clinic and was extremely disappointed in my experience. The physicians are inexperienced and are not equipped to deal with anything beyond a common cold. The physician was extremely judgmental and rude. It appears that they value their opinion on you based on how you appear on piece of paper. They have no grievance policy in place beyond talking to their department manager in person. I inquired about a formal written policy which they stated they didn't have -- I will be reaching out to Mountainstar personally to file a formal complaint. read more

I hate how medical offices take advantage of you! I went in for 15 minutes to see Dr. Corson for birth control. I already knew I would get the pill, but the office required me to go in for a doctor visit (of course). Apparently they billed for a "consultation" - which I didn't actually get because I just needed my prescription. This consultation was billed at $136.00, on top of the general co-payment that I paid ($15.00). These people are so inconsiderate of your situation and will get money out of you at any expense. I would NOT recommend this office at all. The doctor wasn't terrible, but seems to treat you like a transaction. The office staff is inconsiderate, rude, and careless. read more
