I made it clear I would rather wait the extra week than come in without my labs, knowing they would be necessary for a productive visit. I called the morning of my appointment and was explicitly told they had received my most recent bloodwork. When I arrived, they did not have my labs. Despite this, the NP had already formed her opinions before reviewing anything. Was rude and arrogant, told me my brain fog was simply due to old age and didn't bother to ask about any other symptoms and that my testosterone level of 167 ng/dL -- which my lab flagged as clinically low, was not a concern. She recommended DHEA as an alternative to TRT with no discussion of my history or symptom pattern whatsoever. When I raised concerns, the NP accused me of trying to skirt protocols, protocols I had never objected to and was fully prepared to follow. I ultimately had to pull up my own lab results on my phone, screenshot them, and email them to the office myself during the appointment just to have my records present. I left without a meaningful evaluation or treatment plan despite planning a week ahead, confirming my records were received, and coming fully prepared with documented symptoms and specific health goals. I was dismissed, blamed for their administrative failure, and made to feel like a problem rather than a patient. I would strongly encourage anyone seeking men's health or hormone evaluation to find a provider who will actually review your records before drawing conclusions.

I tend to get ear infections a lot, so I end up seeing him about once every 3 months. He explains everything in ways that you understand and has a sense of humor that is refreshing at the doctor's office. A few months ago, he even stayed late for me. I had woken up on a Friday not feeling great, thought I was coming down with something. Around 11:45 am, I finally decided that maybe going to the doctor was a good idea. I called his office and they told me that he was off at noon that day, but how soon could I get there? I was in my pajamas, but got dressed as quickly as I could and rushed over there. It was about 12:20, so maybe waiting 20 minutes for me doesn't sound so crazy, but he was really pleasant about it and I appreciated his thoughtfulness, especially since if he hadn't offered to wait, I would have had to wait 3 more days until Monday to see him. The receptionist here is very very nice too, making pleasant conversation while you're checking in, which is really nice, when you think about everyone she checks in everyday. The location is pretty good, although making a left turn out when you're leaving can be very difficult.

My son was diagnosed with respiratory allergies and asthma at 2 years old. He has had a flu and a covid shot this year already. He caught something and his lungs have been getting progressively worse for the last few days. Twice in recent years he had ended up with bronchitis and walking pneumonia when his happened. Our favorite PA, Dave Anderson, was out on vacation so he saw another PA named Tanya. She walked into the room and said "So you caught a cold two days and go and had to come to the doctors?" He explained about his lungs and past experiences and she argued with him. She had all of his history and records in front of her but was so rude. She finally agreed to give him an antibiotic but with the parting remark "You know, if this is viral this antibiotic won't do you any good". It's not like he was asking for valium or something. He was so mad he was yelling at her. He came home and said that was it. No matter how much we like Dave Anderson, he's done going there. There have been other upsetting things through the years with billing etc. But today was the last straw. I will keep going to see Dave Anderson but if he's ever out, I'll wait.

My wife and I have been coming here for over 30 years. Our Primary Care Physician was Dr. Mark Lee…read morewho was AMAZING, but has since retired. My wife called up yesterday to make an appointment and was told because we didn't contact them within 60 days of Dr. Lee's retirement (something we were never told needed to be done in person or in written form) that we are now considered new patients and will be treated as such. My wife stated that she has to see a doctor to have her prescriptions renewed and was told because we are now new patients (again, we've been going here for over 30 years, but now we are new patients) that she would have to wait for one of the other doctors to pick her up and the wait will be extensive. She stated again that she's been a patient here for over 30 years, she's been seen by other doctors while Dr. Lee was on medical leave and that her prescription will run out before they get her in to see another doctor. She was then told that wasn't their problem and if her prescriptions ran out that that was on her not on them.....That's his exact words!!!!! He told her that's your problem not ours. That's the answer she was given after 30 years of patronage????? REALLY????? Absolutely unacceptable!!!! Now, I guess we will not only be finding a new doctor but a new medical clinic. It's truly a shame because we loved the staff at Cottonwood Family Medical Clinic and Dr. Lee for over 30 years. Guess that's over now. To the young man that handled my wife's phone call yesterday, I want you to know that at 56 years old I have never written or posted a negative review about anything, ever. But due to your absolutely abysmal and utterly disrespectful treatment of my wife you forced me into having to write this review.

She did not run any tests except an allergy one for my mom who was ill. Told her everything was fine. My mom became more ill so she got a 2nd opinion-turns out she has a bad infection (a "superbug") and has been on 3 different antibiotics. If she didn't seek more help, it could have spread further, or worse turned into sepsis. My father went to see this Dr. today, told her about the infection my mom has, she replied" that is a common bug." Not true. He saw her for a fever he's had for a while. She told him that is normal.... no blood work, nothing. She has no empathy for her patients. You may as well skip an appointment with her, and spend your money on a Dr. who cares.
