As I walked into the office, my son called me from school, so I answered because I needed to know what was happening. While I was still on the phone, the doctor approached me and told me to remove my earbud so I could hear him. I explained that I was already on an important call when I entered the office and just needed a moment to finish. Instead of giving me that moment, I felt that his manner was dismissive and rude, including making a shooing gesture toward me. Because of the way I was treated before my appointment even started, I told him I no longer felt comfortable having him as my doctor, and I left. Afterward, I texted the office expressing how upset I was about the interaction and told them that I had posted a review. Their response to me was, "Stop harassing us or I will inform the police." I found that response extremely concerning, especially since I was simply expressing my dissatisfaction about what had just happened. I will not be contacting the office again, but I believe potential patients should know about my experience. Patients deserve to be treated with courtesy, patience, and professionalism. Unfortunately, I did not feel that I received that here.
