Is this even a clinic for the sick or just.... This experience is for my Mother, she's a regular here. This transpire on a Tuesday morning, 12/10/19. She was feeling really sick and called me to take her to the Doctor. When I picked her up I was a little scared, she was coughing hard and possibly flu symptom, I told her instead let's go to the hospital, but she said 'no, take me to my clinic'. My mother is 76 years old and in these situations never to argue or debate, she knows her health. I got to the clinic, she told me to leave her here since she will be in good hands, I was still hesitant and wanted to wait it out but she said again 'Don't worry, they will take care of me'. Two hours later I called to see if everything is okay, she said 'I'm at home now resting in bed, they act like they didn't want to see me or help at all'. I'm like wtf, ask what happen and she recounted the whole story. She was the only one there, explain she feeling really sick. She didn't have an appointment so she understands to wait. The front desk never told her about appointments or anything she guess all that herself. After 5 people going in and out still no help or no words. She then went to the front desk and complain and told them please see me soon I'm feeling weak and can't wait much longer. Front desk still doesn't help at all, then she walk out and called a cab. I'm at work hearing all this and of course I tried reaching out to them to hear there side of the story. I called but no pick up and left a message, 4 days and still nothing :| My mother end up in the ER, the Doctor seen her within 40 mins after x rays and testing. The Doctor ask who is her primary care and advise to change doctors immediately. I understand the holiday is a busy time for everyone in business, I have a thousand order of customers, clients to deal with, meetings also. There is no excuse to not reply or call back that will only take 5 to 10 minutes of your life. If you need assistance why not hire help or get better receptionist or nurses. If you don't like helping out the sick in your community, maybe you should have a sign saying that. read more

Christina Lee is absolutely the worst doctor I've ever been to. I was 2 days from having rotator cuff surgery and went to her for help with severe bleeding from fibroids on a Tuesday. I wanted to address it before my surgery. I tried to explain and she kept cutting me off asking me questions & then she'd ask questions regarding what I had just tried to explain because she wasn't listening when I was speaking. She was very rude and had the worst bedside manner ever. She sent me for an ultrasound that was all she wanted to offer me, even though I had one 2 years prior, and I went the next day(Wednesday) I came back to her office 1 week and 1 day later(Wednesday again), hardly being able to walk and could not sit on the table, I needed to lay down. I had no energy, extremely pale skin and extremely weak. She said" Your lips are pale and you have no color. Are you taking iron?" I replied"no" and she said " then you're not helping yourself!" She had never advised me to take iron at that one weeks prior appointment. Who is the doctor here? Needless to say I wound up in the emergency room that night with a hemoglobin level of 5, needed 5 bags of blood and was in for 3 days. I almost died! She never tried to offer any solutions to my issues & only acted annoyed when I suggested anything. I have been so happy with Dr. Lee since moving over from Kaiser Permanente. I had been with Kaiser my whole life but I just wanted more of a personal touch. Dr. Lee actually remembers me as does her staff, they are polite and most importantly, Dr. Lee is very thorough. I am a woman of a certain age and do not mind going through a few diagnostics to make sure I am okay. I appreciate the fact that even if only for 10-15 minutes, I have Dr. Lee's complete attention and longer than that if I need it. read more

My mother just recently started being cared for by Dr. Lee for almost a year now. She has expressed how happy she is with her. Dr. Lee has been one of the few doctors to be able to keep her high blood pressure controlled as well as her chronic migraines. She has commented on how caring she is and her pleasant personality. Upon reading some of the reviews, I agree that Dr. Lee is an excellent and caring doctor for preventative care, I also think that it is common sense if one has an urgent health concern, to go to an Urgent Care or ER instead. read more

I had a very poor experience at this office. I had an appointment for Friday at 4:30 pm and arrived on time. I wasn't seen by Dr. Lee until shortly after 6 pm. Dr Lee seemed over it because it was Friday night and she was ready to go home, as she clearly stated. I felt my needs were just rushed over and not really taken seriously. I asked for a specialist for a couple of issues i've been battling with for a long time and very familiar with. I had finally gotten health coverage through my new job hence my visit at this office, but Dr Lee refused to give me a referral. I also had to visit her when my asthma was doing poorly and she mumbled the diagnosis of my respiratory infection. I had to ask her twice what medication she was prescribing me and she kept brushing it off with responses like "a steriod" and "an antibiotic." No specifics, no care. Two days later I had to visit urgent care because I was having a lot of trouble breathing. The urgent care doctors asked me what my primary (Dr. Lee) said I had...and I had no answer for them. I also have had lumps in my breast and had been in need of a follow up ultrasound and mammogram. I would need her referral go get these done. She seemed annoyed that I asked for another referral and refused to give me a breast exam. When she finally agreed to check, she said she didn't see the big deal and lamely checked my breasts. I was firm until I got that referral. Turns out, I was recommended a biopsy after seeing the specialist. I will not be returning here and I will not recommend her. read more

I've never had a worse experience with a doctor than I've had with Dr. Lee. She does not have her patient's interests/health in mind. Her methods are unethical at the least, and even borderline malpractice/illegal. To start, no matter when my appointment is scheduled, I'll sit for at least an hour in the waiting room. They will take walk-ins before you, and then if someone complains they will take that person first (even if their appointment is scheduled for after yours). When she finally sees you, she will rush and not listen to anything you say. The last time I saw her, she was walking out the door before I had a chance to address 3 out of the 4 issues I made the appointment to address. When I asked her to wait she told me "I don't have time for this, what do you want?" Then she rushed me through the other things I had come to ask about. She will not give referrals, even if you are told you need one by the ER or any other medical professionals. She also will not give prescriptions unless you fill them at a local pharmacy that she clearly has some kind of vested interest in. I told her I wanted my prescriptions filled at a CVS close to my house, and she said that she would not even prescribe my medication unless I used the pharmacy she chose. I think that is illegal, and even if not, I'm positive it is not ethical. Not sure why she pushes that pharmacy so hard, perhaps she gets kickbacks, or maybe they are owned by friends/family, or maybe they all traveled across the Pacific ocean to CA in the same shipping container. I don't know. What I do know is that when I'm in need of medication, I shouldn't be denied because I want to choose where to fill the prescription. I could keep going on and on about how little Lee and her staff will do for you, and the problems that continue after your appointment (referrals that never come, treatment never recieved, no communication whatsoever) but I will simply advise anyone contemplating seeing Dr. Lee to do everything in your power to see another doctor. No one could possibly be worse than Dr. Lee. read more

Dr. Christina is a friendly and very competent doctor. I feel comfortable talking to her about health issues or concerns and feel confident she is giving me a high standard of care. She always does follow-up appointments (generally telehealth right now due to the pandemic) to discuss results from blood work or tests/screenings so you can better understand what is going on. Also, the employees at the front desk are so friendly and helpful! When I had a potentially more time sensitive health concern they did their best to get me in sooner as opposed to later and I really appreciated that. However, Dr. Christina is very busy so you do have to schedule your appointments ahead of time (generally as soon as possible). I have never been able to be seen right away so if you need a doctor who you can do next day or walk in appointments, she may not be the physician for you. The office refused to book an appointment for my daughter because she is a minor. I wasted 1.5 months trying to book an appointment and only got the run about their contract with the group (They are in network. I confirmed before calling them) and no availability for minors. I submitted a complaint with my plan and of course they deny it because not only is it unethical but also illegal. In the middle of a pandemic, Dr. Lee and her staff have provided great health care while protecting her patients from Covid.

I recently changed my primary care doctor to Dr. Lee before the pandemic and definitely regret doing so. On my first visit everything was rushed, she was impersonal, and skipped over concerns that I had regarding my health. At the end of my 5-8 minute appointment (because it was that rushed) she told me that I needed to get labs (that I also had to schedule myself) done somewhere else, but didn't really explain why. She talks so fast and always tries to tell you what she thinks is best (as if she is debating against you) and seemingly pushes you to side with her decision. Then when you explain something you want her to check out (like getting blood work for something) she asks "why?" And says "you're young you have nothing to worry about" then pushes for you to get a "flu shot" or "sti testing" because when you're young you can only get the flu or an sti right? She's a joke. Thankfully I was able to change to another provider. Please AVOID her if you can. read more

My actual visit to the office was fine. I waited a long time (30-45 minutes past my appointment time) to see the doctor, and once I did it was basically just a 5 minute appointment and not super personal. 3 months later, I call the pharmacy to refill my prescription, but I'm out of refills. They say they will contact my doctor for a refill. A week later and the pharmacy has still not heard from the doctor. I have called for days, left messages, none of which have been answered. I was off my medication for 4 days until I could find a new doctor, get an appointment, and get a new prescription. Don't go here. read more

My dad called to make an appt since this his assigned office and it was so hard to get a hold of them but when he did they said they could not see him for 3 weeks out. They referred my elderly father to urgent care where he got exposed/infected with covid. Complete negligence. The insurance got ahold of them and they scheduled an appt for today to get a longer supply of meds and for other issues he has been having. he drove out to the office to be told they are not seeing patients in person even for urgent non-covid related issues. So all this to say... do not make this your assigned office if you need in person care and people to answer the phone. read more

Let me start by saying that I usually only choose to write positive reviews but this is pretty important for me to share considering my experience. I chose this doctor off of good reviews in general however once I arrived I did not enjoy the same experience as those other reviewers. I found out I was pregnant so I called to get an appointment as soon as I could- which ended up being about 2 weeks out- normal I guess. Actual visit felt extremely rushed and like the doctor made no effort to talk to me about anything to establish some sort of rapport. She sent me to get lab work done because they were All out of pregnancy tests but sent me to a lab my insurance didn't cover so I had to go back so they could send me elsewhere. Funny that the guy at the lab said they did that often... not sure how it works but I would assume you confirm where insurance would cover- if the customer had insurance. Lab work took 7-10 days for results just in time for my follow up which was 2 weeks from my previous. My appointment was the doctor going over my results and that was short and to the point however felt cold. I'm approximately 2 months .. I would figure there'd be a sense of urgency to get me resources or to an ob- ASAP. I didn't get any info or resources- it's my first time being pregnant!!!! I don't want to rely on wives tales and the net for info, I want my doctor to walk me through what's supposed to happen but it felt as if she only wanted to answer the bare minimum and then get me out. I had to ask what I should eat and what type of physical activity is okay- and even then it was vague answers or short. When it came time for my referral, I was not in the system (which might not have been their fault) so I had to wait another 5 days and when I called I was told I'd get a call back which I did not. I called back the following day and got the same answer- so finally after the third time calling they told me they'd call me back to let me know when the referral was good and no phone call... after contacting the medical group they confirmed it was submitted, that day. as a normal request, instead of anything else. So 7-10 more days before I can call and make an appointment which I'm not sure when they would be able to accommodate for me because as doctors go... they're booked up. So technically if I was 2 months on my first appointment by the time I see an ob, I'll be 3.5 months!? Other moms got ultrasounds at 7 weeks!!!!!!!!! No one there cares or wants to help except the front desk lady, she was sweet. Unorganized and doesn't seem to be good communication. I already switched doctors but this story is worth sharing. Cmon, where is the sense of urgency? Where is the concern? I have so many questions, like many new moms- this office alone is the cause of a deep stress I feel and I know it's not good which is why I'm writing this, to keep anyone else from feeling it. First of all I am almost 4 moths pregnant and decided to call here for an appointment so i can be transfered to an OB clinic Girls answering the phone booking appointments are not doing their job correctly , i waited a whole month for a call from them (an appointment) just for them to transfer me to an OB clinic , but they never called me , so i called them instead , and they said they had no information at all , they did not know who i was , or that i had an appointment over the phone with them , they kept asking my name and last name , transfered my call about 4 times to different people , and none of them had an idea who i was or why i was calling ,or that they had given me an appointment on that day , worst part is they wanted to give me another appointment in a fkn Month , so i had enough of this , and just changed doctor, , if i could give them Zero stars i would , they are not proffesional at all, they are a joke , and they have a bad attitude towards the client when it comes to solving a problem , i am a pregnant mom and need to see a doctor as soosn as possible , i dont have time for Games , this receptionist are playing games read more

I would absolutely NOT go to this doctor. Dr. Christina Lee and her practice provides negligent care that is borderline medical malpractice. I would strongly advise that you not see this doctor. My co-worker scheduled a 3pm appointment with Dr. Lee this past week. At 2pm, my co-worker's condition exacerbated to the point that she stumbled and almost hit her head on her desk. As a courtesy, we called Dr. Lee to tell her we were on our way to the ER. However, as we were driving to the ER, we realized that my co-worker needed to see Dr. Lee first because she is on an HMO plan. At 2:30pm, we called Dr. Lee's office to see if we could come in for our originally scheduled 3pm appointment - but Dr. Lee refused medical attention to my co-worker. Allegedly, in the last 30 minutes, Dr. Lee had already filled that appointment spot. Stella (the receptionist) was irritable and cantankerous and repeatedly would not accommodate my co-worker. I've never experienced this level of callousness, disregard, and insensitivity from a health care provider. To be honest, I was disgusted at her lack of professionalism and respectability. At the ER, the doctors conducted multiple tests (blood, urine, x-ray, CT scan, and MRI scan), and multiple ER doctors and neurosurgeons concluded that my co-worker needed to see a neurologist immediately. With the HMO plan, Dr. Lee (the PCP) needed to refer her to the neurologist. The next day, we called the office again to request for Dr. Lee to refer my co-worker to a neurologist. Against the advice of all the ER doctors and neurosurgeons, Dr. Lee refused to issue a referral. Dr. Lee demanded that my co-worker needed to come in next week (5 days later) before she would issue the referral. This constitutes negligent care. I'm truly disappointed in the actions this doctor has taken. I would've hoped that they would've treated patients better than this. read more

Terrible horrible office! Do not have enough time to voice all my complaints. They never return calls, call for refills for days on regular meds and am accused by their office staff of trying to get prescriptions for illegal substances and treated like a drug seeker!! Cholesterol pills lady!! Then you have to leave a harsh message on the doctors machine more than once and still no call back and you only know it's there when your pharmacy contacts you. To top it off seriously no refills so you have to go through the entire nightmare all over again next month. Treated like a third class citizen why because I don't understand your 5 minute message machine in I think in Tagalog. Rudest staff I ever met. Do you not remember your oath lady when you became a doctor? It's about treating your patients to the best of your ability and not guessing at treatment. You can't even understand the receptionist who is so afraid to do her job because she's practically whispering on the phone and when you ask her name she barely stated it. How many messages do I have to leave Stella before you take my refills seriously when I was merely in need of cholesterol and GERD pills You work in a doctor's office lady and you don't know those aren't routine drugs before you accuse me of being a drug seeker! How dare you? Tells me protocol doesn't warrant an X-ray for severe pain but gives me an antibiotic having no idea what caused the pain. To top it off I get a call from the ultrasound facility for an appt. Which is it lady are you authorizing it or not? Never seen a Dr. so callous that brushes you off on any complaints. Asked about my lab that she should have suggested and didn't and she mumbled they already sent the request to the lab. Which lab lady? My God, do I have to do your job for you?? I don't know how many times I showed her what appeared to be bothersome abnormalities on my face that I was worried about and again she brushed off my concerns and refused to give me a referral to a dermatologist. During my pursuit of good medical care should those abnormalities on my skin actually be something you will be talking to my attorney. Not to mention as uncomfortable as I was to have a pap by her she wouldn't give me a referral and I had to beg for the results. There's only one funny part about my relationship with this office and that's when the Dr. told me that USC must like the one she practices as they have a NP interning in her office. Quit flattering yourself! Apparently, they haven't read the reviews or really seen the way you so called practice medicine. stay away!!! horrible service. i had an accident and went to the er, they took xrays and called me back the next day asking me to go to my primary doctor and ask for a referral to a knee specialist. tell me why after waiting over an hour (even though i had an appointment) this "doctor" was refusing to send me a referral & saying that all er's say the samet thing. after basically arguing with her during my entire visit, she finally agrees and has her nurse (estela) schedule me for a referral. turns out they got me a referral to a hand specialist. wtf i also asked her to switch my pharmacy to a local cvs because its across the street from me, and dr. lee straight said that she would not send my birth control there and that i would have to stay with golden pharmacy if i still wanted to receive it. thats insane. do yourself a favor and switch your doctor like i did. read more

People can be very vicious and negative, complain practically about everything Since these times of internet really can destroy n trash a person's life and bussiness. I understand they are some bad apples, but also we are human and have good and bad days, I think people should not let these bad comments judge right away without actually giving the doctor a try and you be the judge of that. I have a really great experience with Dr. Lee, she's nice, very humorous, and a great doctor and her staff is nice and respectful as well. I have seen her several times and people should be more understanding what healthcare is about, there's times you get seen on time and sometimes not. I was informed recently appointments are further apart, cause they are going through some changes do to 2018 healthcare requirements, well how could that be their fault, common people stop being she hateful, they are trying.. This is America they are urgent care and emergency so let's try to be patient from what I was told in a few months everything will run smoother and to our benefit our appointments and healthcare will be better and also we will be able to connect.
