The facility allows pets and we met Lily of the Valley, our friend's cat. The rooms are good sized with bedroom and sitting area. A small microwave and refrigerator are in the room. The cleaning staff come often. While we were sitting in her room, a staff person came to visit. She was there to help bathe our friend, but said she would come back later. It was an enjoyable visit. They have their own parking lot.

The Manor seems to have also lost several good and caring employees that we really liked. I'm starting to get concerned about the trends I've been witnessing. I hope these trends don't continue.

When we walked in the door at Manor Village, we knew we had found Moms new home. We were greeted by Wesley Wilkins who provided us with a tour and as we moved throughout the building, Wesley knew all the residents that we came in contact with as well as employees. You could tell he really enjoys his job and every employee we talk with had a smile on their face. The entire building had a wonderful vibe and the residence we interacted with were so welcoming and friendly. We feel confident that if any emergency or care is needed, Mom is in the right place. It is now been a couple of months since she moved in and we could not be any happier. It has been such a positive experience and I would highly recommend Manor Village if you're looking for a facility that will treat your loved one like family. The staff have always been friendly and helpful and the residents genuinely love living here. There is a variety of daily activities for those that want to participate, quality food onsite (all meals included), and plenty of additional amenities that help make living here super convenient. It's also a great location just east of Scottsdale on Shea. The apartments themselves are a great size and the entire facility is clean and vibrant. Yesterday, I went to visit them and have lunch with them at their facility's restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I marveled at how new and beautiful everything looked. There was even a slight smell of fresh paint to add to the newness. The decor in the lobby was gorgeous and upscale, with high ceilings, inventive light fixtures, and lots of seating. The restaurant offers sit-down service. They have daily specials and a soup of the day. They had a good variety of sandwiches, salads, soups, and desserts for lunch. The brownie was my favorite part of the meal. It was decadent! This facility allows for small pets. There is a dog run area outside. There's also a heated pool and a gorgeous seating area outside with a large television mounted on the wall. My friend showed me the activity schedule. They offer many fitness and enrichment classes, such as art classes in the art studio. There are also bridge, rummikub, and mahjong groups that meet on a regular basis. This facility is not yet at 100% capacity. I would definitely recommend booking a tour if you are in the market for retirement living, assisted living, or memory care.

He praised the staff are more friendly and available, the food are better, even the air is fresher compared to the last assisted home he stayed at for 4 years. The Caregivers are very compassionate, and demonstrate through knowledge of their most difficult jobs. The Office Staff members do a phenomenal job, Jerry, always offers his assistance in spite of the subject not in his job discription! Colleen, past Director of Medical Dept., has been extremely helpful during the tenure of my mom's residence. All of the nursing staff are exceptionally professional, and caring as well. I was told one thing several times, but they never stick to their word they do what they want. I've never met a bunch of more uncaring people in my whole entire life. The facility is nice, opening in 2016, but their management has taken a serious turn for the worse. The ownership of this facility is Morningstar Senior Management of Denver, CO. They provide no e-mail address, no complaint channel via e-mail, web or telephone, and no one on their executive team will either take a phone call or return a message. Sadly, we are going to look for another facility.

All of the caregivers have been compassionate, loving and caring to both of my parents' needs. The home itself is new, clean and beautifully designed. There is a large patio and backyard with mini golf. All the meals are home cooked and they pay attention to dietary needs. There are certified caregivers on site 24/7. This home accommodates up to 6 residents so it provides tailored attention to each resident. No one is lost in the shuffle like that of a larger facility. My original goal was to have them move in with me however after observing all the love and care they receive now through this group home, I would have done my parents and myself a disservice.
