Every day owners Efie and Igor (and their staff) made it clear that each patient was cared for to the fullest. Should you choose AZ Life, you will not be disappointed. The tender loving care began the moment we met Ludmila and her caregivers. The facility is a darling bright and cheery home that is kept meticulously clean. Moms room was private and was great for all her many visitors. We knew it was not going to be too long as mom was failing quickly and the team kept us abreast of any and all changes ... good or bad. The days are filled with activities and all the residents seemed happy. Special food requests were given and they have a tiny dog that would visit the residents a couple times a week. That was a highlight for sure. AZ Life is an Arizona Long Term Care certified facility. We literally visited dozens and nothing compared to Ludmilla's beautiful home. When mom passed there were genuine tears from all the staff. Very kind, gentle people that truly love their residents. XXO The Peck Family

The front desk staff is really pleasant and so ready to assist when you walk through those doors whenever I have come to visit. I love the type of care the Seniors receive. They also have an amazing Bible study on Tuesdays which is good for their souls. I can't say enough good things about them. They always greet me with a big smile and conversation that it's obvious they truly care about people. There are so many good people from Housekeeping, Restaurant and Maintenance employees that I would love to recognize each and everyone of them for taking such good care of all The seniors that live here. I know I didn't mention everyone by name but want all of you to know how much I appreciate you and all that you do for the families every day. Thank you very much, from the bottom of my heart.

It became horribly infected until he had to be discharged to hospital with staph infection and have if drained . Never went back!!!! . They just want to push to get your money but do not give a crap about the care . The fraud charges on his card were to the vending machines IN THE FACILITY Gas station runs , fast food , liquor, all this provided admin information and they did NOTHJNG ! Don't know how they get good rating on web page .Because the state doesn't visit these places at all . When they do it's everyone make sure to put on the eirs. Do not let the pictures deceive you! What goes on inside coupled with horrible admin staff is the worst! You are a mere walking dollar sign to them. If I could give them ZERO star I would

Promises are made to perspective residents that often are not realized. The sales representative works on commission. That's why the move in fee is extremely high. Morningstar employee turnover rate is extremely high. They have also been through several directors in the short time they have been open. Do your homework before moving your loved one. Check with Arizona Department of Health for complaints. Our family finally gave up on false promises from management and corporate. We as a family knew the care for our loved one was extremely poor, but we never truly understood how bad it was, until we moved to a different facility. Morningstar and many care facilities are all faced with the same situational problem. Caretakers require very little training, they dont even need a high school education. Research requirements to be a caretaker.....it's scary. They are under trained, under paid and are expected to fulfill great responsibilities for residences that require special, high skilled care. For those of you who have experienced the same frustration we have, don"t give up. There are a few well run facilities out there. We recently lost our Mother after a long battle with COPD. She lived her last year of her life at Rock Creek Memory Care in Surprise AZ. They don't have a salesperson. The director works personally with perspective new residents. The director is responsible for any and all representation. The employees are all well trained. The staff are all long term employees. They work with passion for the residents because they love their job. They have zero complaints with AZ. Dept. Of Health. They are family owned and operated. My family hopes this review helps people who are just beginning their journey with their loved one. Hopefully you don't learn the hard way, as we did. I would never, never recommend Morningstar.

The coffee shop is named Thrive, the old Acorn Grill is now Wild Cactus, and there is also a lovely dining area with cruise ship sounding daily special menu items and a regular menu too. The bar renovation has not been completed yet, but these other areas are open for business and look fresh and appealing. I haven't eaten there since the renovations, but will be doing so soon. Before getting into the campus, you'll have to pass through the gates, telling the guard you intend to dine. Take time to look through the changing art exhibits in the hall gallery too--many are available for purchase at prices far below their worth.

There is so much JOY in the residents and the teams that work with them and there is a true sense of comradery, family and connection. As seniors age, mental and physical capacity may become diminished, but there is still so much spark in the residents I have worked with here and I truly believe it's because the teams working for the communities foster such a wonderful spirit of love and togetherness. They speak hopefully, lovingly and faithfully and it really reflects in the faces and eyes of those who live here. They are committed to loving the residents and you see it! I am not just saying this because I have worked with them for several years doing marketing photography, but because I truly do see a special difference in these communities. Heritage is truly top-notch and a place I've already started comfortably recommending to family friends, because I believe they have something truly special.

I would visit my dad twice a month, then once a week, and ultimately every day before he passed, and all of my visits were completely without notice, as even I didn't know exactly when I would be there next. With that said, each time I saw my dad, I found him to be very well cared for, dressed in clean clothes, hair combed, shaved, and in good spirits. The staff knew what his habits were, be it how he takes his coffee in the morning or a nightcap in the evening. His room, bedding and personal items were always clean and organized. I credit the staff entirely for his condition. The staff was always very caring and helpful to my dad and to me as well. Everyone knew who my dad was and how he was doing on any particular day or week. They were encouraging of him to play the piano as well as other activities, but they also gave him the space to do nothing if that is what he wanted. Without question, Orchard Pointe was a great place for my dad to have lived his end of life, and I would recommend them to anyone wholeheartedly.
