Crooks, do not buy anything from them! I am a single mom, and they are corrupt slicksters. First,…read morethey charged me with deception for coming out to assess what was wrong with my fridge. They claimed any fees would be applied to any appliance or repairs from them, but when I went to pick out something working correctly, they only offered half credit. Mind you, he took out two screws, said it was broken (bad compressor), and charged $50 bucks. Next, the GE appliance I agreed to was not only broken, according to another salesperson, but they also delivered something that wasn't even close! They also charged me for delivery and then told me to find someone to help move it into the house, whom I also had to pay. When I called the next morning to report the unit was spewing water on the floor and not freezing, they suddenly informed me that they would not be able to do anything until next Tuesday. I also had to find another vendor to buy a working unit elsewhere immediately. I asked for a pickup of their fridge and a refund. He texted back that they would do so first thing Tuesday, they would make this right! Today, I received a partial refund, accompanied by a scolding: "We usually don't give refunds, but I'll make an exception." So please do not give them a single nickel. When the owner claims they can charge you to deliver a broken item with a warranty, refuse to service it until they're ready, and expect you to accept more broken units or whatever their plan is, all just to keep your money then this is not a regular business but it is a trap. There was no clear policy posted about this audacity either. It works very much like a scam, in my opinion. As if there was any other option when someone gives you money that works, but your product does not. Of course, they ripped me off for $45 without explanation, while they got to keep my old fridge, which is flat out crooked. It's the part where the owner came off as if he was doing me a favor by returning any of the money at all, which was too much for me. This company doesn't give a rat's bottom about their customers or reputation. No one should be charged for something that is broken. No one should have to store or house their appliances for free. I shouldn't have been asked to wait days for a working fridge while they held onto my money, leaving me with nothing but a headache. No one should be charged for delivery for an appliance that did not work. It cost my household $45 to be inconvenienced by someone's junk and to miss a day at work to pick up their junk with attitude. I do not recommend this for repair or sale; you are better off going somewhere else reputable. In this economy, I thought to buy local and support a small business nearby. I still support buying local, if you can! Just do not, for any reason, help Cold Tech. Your word to customers should be your word, and fair is fair. It shouldn't have cost me anything since I received nothing for the transaction, and it also cost me time at work. The least they should have done is completely refund my money and properly apologize. What I received from them is a valuable lesson but for $45 I do get to share my experience and opinion. Do not do business with these people.

The work was subcontracted and the parts were incorrect, the unit was not re-assembled correctly,…read morethey left the work area dirty when finished...did I mention it was not the correct part to begin with. Now I'm having to pay another company to fix what they did wrong to even assess the unit to determine if there is anything else wrong with it. They are having to replace copper tubing that was bent, and other tubing that was cut to accommodate the incorrect part in order to replace it with the correct part. I am working with them now to see if they'll offer any type of refund on what I previously paid them to do, which was not cheap. I would never call them again nor would I ever recommend them to someone else. Buyer beware!
