Souvlaki Platter

So, they haven't been re-opened for too long. They were packed tonight so the service was slow, waited for 10 minutes for a menu in a "seat yourself" joint. Tried to order a combo plate and was told they "were too busy". That might need to change or put a disclaimer on the menu. For the goods, the food is just as good as it used to be at the old location and the prices are still reasonable. The decor is white walls with Greek art and some interesting decor option that they brought over from the d location.

Pasticio

I had not gone to Chris Charcoal Pit since before it was destroyed by the tornado. Decide to try the New location. Ordered Pasticio which comes with a salad and pita bread. It was very dry, no flavor, very little meat and sauce. It was covered in oregano. Lots béchamel sauce. Not impressed. The previous Pasticio that was served when they were on West Street tasted like Pasticio this does not. I don't know what happened to the recipe. Also, you do not serve Pasticio with pita bread unless this is the new modern style.

Gyros
Luan D.

I've heard good things about this place. It relocated to a new location in Edgewater , after a long absence in Annapolis because of destruction by tornado. My review is only based on my gyros sandwich. It may seem unfair and I agree. Here, gyros packs 2-3 times more meat than any other gyros from elsewhere. To me, it is more meat than I think necessary. Onion is chopped up too small to give texture to each bite. There was no lettuce. Instead, a few slices of cucumber were added. Tomato's was ripened and flavorful. Unfortunately, there was not enough sauce to last the entire sandwich. So, overall, the gyros was not what so expected. After taxes, my gyros sandwich alone was about $13.78. The gyros is nothing to write home about. I am not giving up on this joint just yet. I will try again and hopefully will give higher rating.

I just had the best bowl of chicken rice soup! And a really good meatball sub. The baklava was excellent too.

They have delicious food and over the years I've tasted a number of dishes The Greek Salad topped with a protein Grilled Chicken Salmon Shrimp or Crab Cake I've had many times . I've always found the salad to be fresh crisp with the usual yummy veggies and a mound of Feta My very favorite dish is the Oysters Rockefeller The BEST I've ever tasted!! Can't resist those succulent perfectly cooked Oysters Forgot to mention the Drinks I've enjoyed a Moscow Mule served in the traditional copper mug and a great wine list. Can't wait to go back for more.

Weird location for…read morewhat seems like a converted house/restaurant for a nicer upscale place but it was very impressive on the inside. Parking was tricky and tucked away on the back side. Unfortunately the food is kind of an important aspect of the whole "dining experience" and Paul's gastronomic offering simply did not impress. I ordered the soft shell crab sandwich which was deep fried and unimpressive. It tasted more like cornbread and oil than crab. M-in-law ordered the wilted spinach salad which was also just "ok". My 10y/o ordered the chicken parm which was likely some of the worst pasta I've ever consumed at a nicer restaurant. He complained that the sauce tasted like chemicals and he's usually not picky and will eat anything. I assumed he was exaggerating, tried the sauce and noted that it was flavored overwhelmingly with a bitter spice that I couldn't put my finger on. Aside from the poor food the service was decent and the prices were reasonable for the area. Would not try again on our next visit to Annapolis.

I made my owner online and it was very easy to do. The owner was so nice while we waited for our order. There is metered street parking available for this restaurant and I did not have an issue finding a spot. I personally ordered the Greek Philly. I was was thoroughly impressed with my food. First, the portion size was huge. I could not finish it in one sitting. Second, it came with a huge salad, which I was not expecting. The salad was delicious, the Philly was delicious. The fries.....not so much. They were crispy and hard. The salad and Philly were both tasty and packed with flavor. I cannot say enough about this place. They have a wide assortment of food including gyros, salads, soups, wraps, paninis, burgers, skewers/kabobs mezza, and antipasti. They also have worldwide booze, including imported beers. I am glad that I was able to experience this food and highly recommend checking this place out.

Outside feels like a complete different place (so pick indoor seating). Second, the staff is very friendly. We ordered several of their appetizers for our group and they were all delicious. Their kabab plates were a hit. They also offered a good selection of drinks. Minor thing, and it is from personal experience only: their menus are printed on black paper and in a plastic sleeve. Reminds me of the bad touristy places in Europe. It did not represent how good the food was, because usually we run away from this Massive Plastic menus... so I Joel one day they will update them to something nicer for a better first feel.

Incredible restaurant. We've been hearing great things about Cazbar for years and finally decided…read moreto go. Was a great decision!! Really interesting menu. We learned quite a bit about Turkish dining, as typically uninformed Americans. The food was great, with nice big portions. The waitstaff is wonderful. Answered all of our questions (we had many). Patient. Observant. Couldn't have been better. We went on a weeknight and it was surprisingly empty. Our waiter said it's usually much busier. And especially so on weekends, mostly due to the belly dancers (Fridays and Saturdays I believe). We'll definitely be returning. Really great restaurant.

It is worth walking around the restaurant to view all the pretty decorations. The menus are media pads that don't get wiped off (gross). I don't understand how a restaurant that has technology (and a robot busser) can't sort out separate checks. Groups of six or more are charged a 20% service charge. Large groups are charged a $25 fee for using a credit card. My suggestion is stop handing out the pretty bags for leftovers and get rid of the credit card fee. We have a group of eight that meets once a month. We won't be back as a group. It might be fun to return sometime with less people and watch belly dancing. The menu is extensive (a bit confusing on the media pad) and has vegan and vegetarian options. The portions are decent. The items are flavorful and most are pricey. Guests who split a dish with someone are charged $15 for not ordering an entree. The watermelon margarita was pretty. I appreciated pitchers of water at the table. The cold hummus trio was tiny and tasty. The red lentil soup was nicely seasoned and barely warm. The sweet potatoes were nicely presented, flavorful and not filling. The red sauce wasn't too spicy but ketchup tasted better. The lamb moussak eggplant dish was large. The Doneri Iskender lamb dish was $10 more with bread and sauce. The vegetable kebab had zucchini & squash. My friend didn't want the rice & bread so she substituted a salad. $40 for a skewer & small salad seemed excessive. The salad with chicken was large. Everyone enjoyed the lamb. The desserts were large enough to share. The noodle breaded dessert was interesting. I enjoyed seeing the dishes. The Chocolate cake was yummy. The baklava was sweet and good. They only had the green flavor. The server was mostly locked into our needs. The manager gave everyone a pretty to go bag. You can see the menu on your phone & can avoid the over used media pad.
