Harvest Salad TASTY!
Laura I.

Decided to try this place for delivery on Valentine's Day since we couldn't leave our home to go out. EVERYTHING was amazing. The Seared Sea Scallops and Crab Topped Salmon were both perfect portioned and cooked to perfection. Fried Thai Chicken Dumplings were HUGE and full of favorful filling. Caesar Salad and Harvest Salad were both fresh and tasty. Everything was packaged with care and sauces were separate which was greatly appreciated!! Highly recommend and can't wait to eat there in person!! Can't understand why the ratings aren't much higher. As a foodie, trust me and give this place a try!!

I have been Chow Bistro twice for brunch. Neither time was a disappointment. It's BYOB, so we brought a bottle of sparkling wine for mimosa's. The inside is cute and they have movable dividers to accommodate larger parties which I think is so smart. It's a grey and white motif with some eclectic art on the walls. On my first first I ordered the huevos rancheros and this last time I ordered the avocado toast. Portions are wonderful and you will leave very full. The service has been quick and friendly. The prices are outstanding. On our first visit we had a lovely conversation with the owner and asked about hosting a party and she was flexible with what we were looking for While we didn't end up booking the party there due to factors not related to Chow, we would certainly consider them in the future.

Eclectic decor- it really works!

Wow!! A very upscale gourmet type of a restaurant w eclectic decor! Our server, TJ, was excellent. He knew the menu inside & out. Super customer focused and an extremely attentive server. My friend and I decided on the diver's scallops. I asked if these were sea scallops. TJ told us these were U10 scallops, they were served atop delicious mashed potatoes, with fresh green beans and a tasty almandine sauce. The quality of the food was on point, the scallops were expertly cooked and delicious & sweet. For dessert we each got the vanilla bean creme brûlée. It was fantastic with some bakers whipped cream, a mint sprig & 2 blackberries. I could see the black specks of vanilla beans! I thoroughly enjoyed it! While the quality is there for sure at Chow, for me, the value isn't there for the entrees. I just can't see spending 30$ on an entree where there is no salad or bread basket. The server gave a half a piece of bread with some delicious scallion whipped butter, we weren't offered any more. My meal was 4 large scallops, some mashed potatoes and green beans. I understand that scallops are very expensive but I feel like the prices are extremely high. If I go back, it won't be for dinner, it's simply not a good value in my mind. I see this place as a special occasion dining experience. The place was jumping when we left. They must be doing very well & im glad to see that. The food reminds me of an exclusive city type of a restaurant. The prices at dinner are very high, but I'm sure you will have a very quality meal & experience.

Smoked almon sandwich

I met my sister and niece here for lunch the day after Christmas and I guess they weren't prepared for a crowd. Service was very slow but I literally think there was one waitress. She was running around like crazy and was very nice but they should have had more staff. The kitchen seemed to have trouble keeping up too. We waited a long time for our food. I had the smoked salmon sandwich. It was good, just nothing I would order again. My sister and daughter had the crab cake sandwich and they really liked it. The fries were really good too. My niece had pasta and she was not happy with it. I didn't try it but it didn't look too appetizing and she said it was less than warm. To me, it looked less than fresh, like it had been reheated. So a mixed review here. I would come again and give them another shot. The restaurant is in an old house and has a great interior so I think it's a nice place to meet friends.

Dana's eggs are always fluffy, hot and tasty no idea how they do it. Bacon is almost always cooked to perfection My husband loves the Arrepas they are cooked to a perfect crispness. We found out recently they are hand made every morning. The best part of all is the owners and the staff. So friendly, kind and courteous it feels like your having breakfast at their home. The food was great, the coffee was hot, and everyone was so friendly. I got the Venezuelan breakfast, which I've had before and liked a lot. It is both filling and satisfying. She got a veggie omelette, which I'd also like to try some time, and said it was absolutely delicious. When we finished, everyone came over to sing happy birthday to her, and they brought out a piece of Tres Leches cake. She had never had that before, and just flipped for it! Chows Corner Cafe - 11/8/24 delicious California Burger!

Chows Corner Cafe is NOT Chow on Main Street in Collegeville. I'm unsure if they are related. Chow Corner Cafe serves breakfast all day AND lunch! Their menu is extensive but NOT expensive. I had the California burger and it was so delicious! It had bacon, avacado, cheese, tomato and onion. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I opted for the side salad instead of fries- it was generous! No upcharge either. My friend ordered the vegetable quesadilla and commented on how delicious it was. There were abundant ingredients in there. The interior of the restaurant reminds me of a restaurant Larry David would go to in California. Pretty colorful walls and hip designs of food- the fried eggs were cute as can be! The only thing that may have been better would be a friendlier server. He was efficient though and we got everything we needed. Yohan (I think that was his name?) at the register was pleasant. I would not hesitate to go back. I don't live close to Chows so I'm not sure when I would go back but when I'm here again I'll go again. I recommend you try it!! I left with a full tummy and I can appreciate the high quality of the food at the not staggering prices. Not easy to pull off with the astronomical inflation.

Our server was attentive, though not over the top cheery. The food was all good! I had an omelette that was made exactly as I ordered. The hash browns were a bit overdone I thought, but otherwise fine. The other offerings, including a yogurt parfait, French toast, and barnyard hash were also quite good. I'll happily come here again the next time I'm in town.
