Today I had the pleasure of experiencing Chopt, a restaurant i had bookmarked for some time now. Living in the south and being in a foodie town such as Savannah, theres plenty southern comfort( soul food) and seafood options, but not enough healthy options in my opinion. So needless to say I was happy to hear about this place. Soon as you walk in, you are greeted with 6 kiosk screens to your right, optional if u wanna place your order and easy to operate. There's also someone available to take your order if you feel more comfortable going that route. The interior is very spacious, clean and peaceful, great for studying or dining in. There's also a glass that separates the guest from the staff, so you're able to see your food being prepared. Today I got a Mexican ceasar with a side of avocado, delicious by the way. We were at Chopt in Savannah last week and there were barely any toppings on the salads.

A good experience overall. Ordering is via kiosk. I go the peach buratta salad and a lemonade. After ordering, I did ask a team member if I could get my drink cup. Since I was traveling solo, it was easier for me to get my drink before sitting, rather than waiting for my food and then having to go to the drink fountain. The teammate though did seem very inconvenienced by this, though she did give me a cup. I think this is because they use a sticker system on all the food/drinks, but this seems like a service win to help customers that can be easily accomplished. The salad was fine. The buratta felt a little small, but overall it was good. I'd visit again for a healthy option, despite some concerns about the experience. read more

I really wanted to love Chopt, because I love a good salad; but it just didn't workout for me. I tried it the first time shortly after opening and when I ordered my Caesar salad with shrimp, I noticed once I left I had no shrimp. So I reached out and they made it right by offering a credit. A month later I returned to use my credit and the salad was just so basic, barely any toppings and just a bowl of mediocre lettuce. For the high prices, it's just not worth it for me. Overall, the staff are pretty helpful and friendly; I just don't care for the quality and quantity you get. read more

I've been wanting a salad bar to come to the savannah area for years, and this place delivered. They have ready made options for salads, wraps, warm bowls, and kids options. I love the kiosk option. For someone who can be indecisive and needs a bit more time to peruse the options, this was perfect. You can also order at the counter which is great too. There is also the option to make your own and customize ready made options. This place is very clean with tons of indoor and outdoor seating options. Great location as well. For two bowls we spent $35- a little pricey for salad, but the ingredients are fresh and we left feeling full. Great addition to the Savannah area! read more

Order by kiosk. A little confusing for the first time. Showed 3 drinks but 8 choices on a drink bar. You take a table number for delivery of meal. Avocado, egg, spicy honey mustard on the Harvest salad. The chicken in the salad were large cut of chicken breast. A little dry but the dressing helped. Needed a knife to cut down the pieces Our other order was a Chipotle wrap. Both were good. With 1 cookie and 2 drinks with 15% tip came to $47. Everything was good but not great. I will be back to try some of the bowl combinations. read more

We came and placed our order on the screen then received a text that said it'll let us know once it's ready. Salads and wraps were fresh. I ordered the shrimp spring roll salad. At first I had to go "digging" in my bowl to find shrimp but turns out they forgot the shrimp. I went to the counter to ask and the girl said "oh we forgot it. She will get you some" and she proceeds to tell the other girl on the prep line "yall, can you get her some shrimp" the whole interaction was off and it was as if I was inconveniencing her. I received my shrimp and added it to my salad. The restaurant is nice and I enjoyed my food but just took off a star for service. read more

First of all, the taste of the food is delicious. Very fresh and well flavored. This place would've scored much higher if that was it. However, the big issue is the they skimp you on everything but lettuce. Like an obnoxious amount of lettuce. I ordered 4 toppings and could barely find any in my salad. My friend got a wrap and she struggled to find any chicken. A lot of potential but for the price, they better start putting out when it comes to the toppings. read more

I have seen this place all over social media as being a healthy option and it did not disappoint! I loved the ordering process. Just walk up to the kiosk and order! I did have to wait about 30 minutes for my wrap but that just shows how popular they are! The staff was really friendly and I was lucky to have had a place to sit and wait. I got one of their wraps which was kinda dry for my liking and I ordered dressing on the side but didn't get it inside my bag. I would love to go back and try a salad next time read more

I love the concept, I think there needs to be more face to face though, the staff was so nice (the ones who came out to check on us) the selections were so good! the protein, the rice and veggies, I enjoyed every bite. I really hope this place stays around or expands out to Port Wentworth area. It would be closer. read more

You talk about a service mess. I thought they would never bring me my salad. Ordered dine in. While I was waiting, the two ladies next to me had their order messed up. They did finally get their order right and even comped them their meal. Also, while I was there, another table had their order messed up with some type of vegetable that wanted it held, but didn't get held. The whole place is in a bit of chaos. Those kiosks just take the customer/service provider relationship and throw it out the window. You feel like nobody is really helping you. And they want you to tip at the kiosk. That's not going to happen. Still, the food is very good and I hope they get the place organized soon. read more

5 stars for the salads. 2 stars for the children's accommodations. I absolutely loved my food and will definitely come again. It was so fresh, creative and delicious. The children's menu was very lacking and not kid friendly. The chicken was super dry and so dry that it was inedible, and they gave us a whole apple as the side for the kids meal. I went back and asked for it cut up and they were nice and did it. Just letting you know it might not be a place to take kids or the whole family. There was also a picture on the wall which was very poorly secured and my child knocked it and it fell down on one side. Just things to be aware of if you are taking kids with you. OK so right when you walk in to the store front you are required to figure out what you want and place your order in what can only be called a giant tablet lol. But there is no human interaction if you have a problem and the staff in the kitchen just look at you like you're an idiot and never leave the area. So you place your order which is very expensive for what you get. My spouse and I ordered a salad and a sandwich and it was almost $40 with drinks!!! I'm sorry but I could have went to a decent restaurant and had much better for the same. The salad was good but it did not wow me. My spouse said the sandwich was one of the better ones he had had. Made a huge mistake. Thinking I ordered a salmon ginger bowl to get back to my job to see I didn't have salmon so I the label on my and says a salmon ginger bowl. Why label something as a salmon bowl and not include the salmon. . The manager wasn't very nice and I felt like he could've been nice it was such an honest mistake ( it does say salmon bowl ) and I paid $18 for a meatless bowl that I didn't even like... he also said I was supposed to get bread. I said well i did not get the bread. He said oh I'm sorry for that ...I'm disappointed that I made a huge mistake and paid money, but the manager was totally inappropriate and not nasty pretty much . Flavor of food was decent. We were enjoying our meal until we found tons of tiny bone shards in the chicken. Luckily, we didn't have our toddler with us for this particular meal. We asked for a refund and the team was baffled how to handle the request. I had to wait at the order window for a manager which took another 25 minutes! While waiting, I saw close to 50% of the meals being handed back to the kitchen for quality issues. The manager finally came out and couldn't find the order in the kiosk. After another 5 minutes of searching, he located it and refunded. Took an entire lunch hour and left hungry. I wouldn't go back. read more

Ordered Cobb salad received a bowl of romaine lettuce however found toppings at bottom of bowl, not tossed and missing avocado. While redoing salad noted that we had not received our bread as ordered. Manager challenged that we had not ordered. Returned to table, retrieved order and presented to manager. Manager was rude and angry with his staff and us. Eaten here in Savannah multiple times as well as other locations. First time I went, portions were good, ingredients fresh and a great experience. Today I went back and had the exact opposite. I ordered the summer corn salad which had no corn in it and my two dressings on the side were mixed in essentially making it salad soup. Additionally the bowl was filled halfway. Why can no restaurant here ever be as good as they are the first month they are open? The first time I got food from here it was phenomenal and everytime since it has gone downhill. Do you bring in the really good staff from other restaurants to run it the first month and then leave it to someone mediocre? I certainly don't want to spend $20 on a lunch that is mediocre. The salads are so bomb, but it smells like an aquarium in there. Like I couldn't enjoy a meal in there. It smells like actually rank.

Meh, my shrimp roll salad had no shrimp, husband's sandwich wasn't correct, no ice for drinks unless you want water, won't be back.

Went here on their soft launch day, and got the spring roll shrimp salad and it was absolutely delicious! Very fresh and light, the dressing wasn't overly heavy, the employees were very friendly. I'm so glad a place like this came to Savannah! I will def be returning here. Love this as an option for people like myself who eat healthy and some fast food/restaurants don't really have many healthy options. read more
