I've been here a couple of times and enjoyed their fresh salads. As with other chains, you can order online, at the kiosks, or in person. You can customize it all you want and I believe hospital employees get a discount. They show you on the board when your order is being prepared vs ready to pick up. I typically go for their caesar salad or the Mexican caesar. Veggies and avocados have always been fresh. The ratio of sauce to veggies is consistently solid and tossed evenly. Service has been mixed but overall my orders have came out at an appropriate times and staff can be friendly at times. The food is so fresh and quite a large selection, including custom-made salads of which you can choose any ingredients. I love it and the delivery service is excellent, comes quick enough. I hope it is only this Chopt outlet that is producing truly disappointing salads. Tonight was the 2nd time our order for Cobb salads was totally misrepresented. Instead of lettuce it was spinach (tasteless and crunch less), three cubes of avocado (instead of usual half avocado), 4 cubes of bacon bit, half a hard-boiled egg) (usually a whole if not more), hardly any blue cheese,. Chicken was abundant but no one had troubled themselves to cut the pieces into mixable/tossable size.. Finally, no buttermilk ranch available (huh). Indeed only dressing choice was balsamic vinaigrette, which proved tasteless. Are they trying to cut corners at this branch? They're still charging $16 for this mess! The York Avenue branch (which is immeasurably cleaner-looking), in my recent experience, is still producing a Cobb salad that deserves the name. What's wrong with the Third Avenue branch? Ordered through Uber Eats and paid extra for sweet potatoes and avocado, but didn't receive either. I also added two types of dressing and received none, which made the salad extremely dry. On top of that, the bread that's usually included was missing as well. After much research, I chose to meet a relative at Chopt because not only did the food look good, but it looked like we wouldn't have trouble finding seating. It was an excellent choice. It was great to be able to choose exactly what we wanted in our salads. Mine tasted great, but I felt bad that I had to toss half of it since I couldn't bring it into either the museum or show taping I was attending later in the day. We easily found a booth to sit in. So I've come here very frequently via Meal Pal and regular ordering. Today was a Meal Pal pickup and I asked if I could switch the spicy dressing that came with the salad for a non-spicy one. I am a major fan of their Kale Caesar salad. I always add grape tomatoes and have them drizzle my salad with creamy Caesar and Mexican goddess dressing. It is soooo goood!!!! Because I am making attempts to eat a bit healthier (I am really, really trying-lol) I was in search of a salad for dinner. Since Chop't Creative Salad Company was only a few blocks away I figured it was worth giving it a try. I was so grateful to the lovely individual behind the register that carefully explained their various salad options. She went over everything and answered my questions as she was informed that this is my first time here. Creating my own salad seemed to be the best decision. The salad I ordered consisted of Spinach, Kale, Lettuce, Corn and Cucumber. Fresh Lemon squeezed onto the salad became the dressing of choice. Although I opted to drink water, it is recognized that they also have alternate fresh beverages. While sitting down to eat my salad, I looked around and saw all of the interesting artwork on the walls. Chop't Creative Salad Company uses bright, pretty colors with an attentive focus on the color green. As it got closer to 9:30 pm (closing time) there seemed to be no pressure from the establishment to eat in a hurried manner which was so nice. Visited Chopt for the first time around 7:00pm yesterday. There were customers eating in the store, but it wasn't very busy. The store is spacious with plenty of seating. I ordered the Baja shrimp wrap and it was probably the best first item I could've tried to make me fall in love with Chopt. The combination of flavors was explosive. There is also a little kick, so make sure you can handle some level of spice when ordering this. I love how the employees use this blade tool with handles to finely cut the ingredients. I loveeeeee Chopt!!! I 100% think it is the superior salad choice when compared to Sweet Green, Just Salad, Fresh & Co or anything else. NO matter which location you go to, they are always clean and very consistent with the food. One of my favorites is the kale Cesar but I substitute romaine for the kale and add chicken. Seriously one of the best Cesars around! Came here after I worked out yesterday and wanted to switch it up from my regular Cesar, since it isn't as healthy as I would like it to be. So I got the Santa Fe which was great, had tomatoes, avocado, cheese, corn and I added chicken, I also got the tyzeki dressing which only has 15 calories and is delicious. I really enjoyed it and would def get it again. I like that Chopt has seasonal items, those are always fun to change it up with too! This Chopt on 78th is the one closest to my apt and only a few blocks from Soul Cycle so it is perfect after a workout when you want something quick and healthy. This is my 2nd time to chopt and although the portion and price are good the product is still lackluster. This one was pretty similar to my first experience. I love the concept and the simplicity of ordering. They also have so many different options. I think the fact that they pre-cut the ingredients leads them to lose flavor. This is my 2nd visit to Chopt and everything tastes the same! I went to a location in Dobbs Ferry for my first one. The falafel salad was as average as you can get. The flavors melt into each other and you just feel textures with no difference in taste. I feel bad because I want to like this so bad. This is my favorite place to get salad. The staff are friendly and make good recommendations if you're torn between a few options. Their ingredients are fresh and flavorful, and there are endless toppings to choose from. I try to order something different every time I come, and I haven't been disappointed yet. They have seasonal items, as well, so there's usually something new to try when I come in. Or you can create your own. For base, they have an option of spinach, kale, mixed greens, romaine, or grains. For toppings, they have a ton of different veggies, cheeses, and protein. And they also have a myriad number of dressings my favorites being the chipotle and white balsamic vinaigrette. My latest choice, the Italian harvest bowl, was really good although I may have asked for a bit too much dressing (my own fault-I asked for more lol). It came with squash, farro and quinoa blend, Parmesan, a blend of Italian lettuce, apples, pumpkin seeds, and the white balsamic vinaigrette. The blend of sweet, sour, and salty was tasty, although again I got a bit too much sour with the extra vinaigrette, but it was still delicious. The addition of grains made it filling even though the portion seemed a little smaller than their other salads. I was a regular here for when I get the hankering for some green leafies but I've stayed away for a while. I decided to go get the chicken tinga warm bowl and it was nothing like I knew it to be. Everyone so often, Chop't updates their menu. Now the tinga comes with the joe blend finely chopped which I love, but the topics of tortilla chips and avocado comes whole. Per the preorder, they no longer chop it. Well, it was horribly disappointing, it lacked enough chicken and it felt hollow. The Mexican Goddess is still popping tho. I bought a $50 gift card for a birthday present at my local CHOPT in The Empire State Building. When I got home and went to put the card in a safe place, I discovered that I did not have the card. I checked my receipt, but it only had the last 4 digits of the card so I was unable to check online to see if it had been used. However, my receipt did have the name of the person who sold the card to me. I called the store, and lucky for me, Hector F. who sold me the card answered the phone. After explaining my predicament, Hector said let me call you back I have to check something. I got a call back within 5 minutes. Hector was able to confirm that the missing card had not been used. He cancelled the missing card and issued me a new one. Super customer service. And kudos to CHOPT for hiring people like Hector, who make the effort to go the extra mile for their customers. read more

I brought it back to them as soon as I saw this(unfortunately I had already eaten some of it). I get it - things happen but this really shouldn't happen with food that's "freshly" prepared. I went in there for the first time without placing my order ahead of time. When i walked in it was empty after reading the choices i made up my mind. There were 5 people behind the counter. I told someone what i would like but by that someone else came in after me and they started on their order ahead of me. The cashier even told the employee that i was there first. Why does this location drown your bowl with greens. Like other locations make the salads/bowls great with the portions being balanced, but every time I come to this location i have to throw out like half the greens because they put such an excessive amount and then there isn't enough of the other ingredients. Most if not all salads are romaine lettuce based, but you are always welcome to add what you like (kale, spinach, arugula) 4 stars for the price, it can always be one less dollar sign. I really like Chop't. They officially opened today but were giving away free salads yesterday. Yesterday we had 2 custom salads and the ingredients were fresh and the dressings were delicious. Today we had the Caesar Salad and the Harvest Salad. Both were also very good. The service is terrific. The staff is friendly and the facility is very clean. Not sure why the first review gave it just a 3-star rating. This was largest and cleanest Chop't I've been to. It's day one, so they are learning the ropes, but the place was well overstaffed. I was kindly greeted at the door, at the fountain soda machine, and then at the counter. My salad preparer was quick and kind, and the cashier was also fast. There are large booths and tables along the side, and while it was not crowded when I went today, the long design of the space seems like it will be able to easily manage a large workday lunch rush. Beyond the friendly people, the food was good, the tables were clean, the space was immaculate, and everyone was bubbly. I know it's only day one, but they're off to a good start!
