Served as a progressive prix fixe menu, dishes arrive one after the other. We started with a delightful five-flavor plate--each bite focusing on a different taste profile--plus cucumber-sauced mushrooms and a grounding Bodhi Buddha soup. Rich matsutake mushrooms and sweet-and-sour riblets followed, paired with bowl-steamed rice and noodles, before finishing with a refreshing sweet potato dessert. Service is smooth. Our server, Hannah, paced the courses briskly and professionally, perfect since we had a show afterward. Still, block out at least an hour and a half to truly enjoy the thoughtfully curated meal. The space is fully wheelchair friendly with wide pathways. Because it is strictly reservation-only, plan ahead. It works beautifully for celebrations or a romantic evening.

In terms of a prefix menu I thought this was really good value per person. The atmosphere that they created was very tranquil and serene even though the tables were a little bit too close to each other. The chairs were too heavy for my liking. If I'm being a bit nitpicky, I felt like the chopstick rests and the fake flowers detract from the decor a bit and it feels a bit tacky but overall, the ambiance was good. My favorite dishes were all at the beginning where I really liked the Five flavor Plate (my favorite taste was the bittermelon one). The cauliflower mushroom dish was also really unique but my favorite dish of the night was Buddha jumps over the wall. The dry ice presentation was stunning. There were eight types of braised mushrooms, and texturally, the dish was just so interesting and umami. This was the pinnacle and highlight for me. It kind of tasted like a Chinese cream of mushroom soup haha. If you like mushrooms and soy, you would really like this tasting menu. There were times I felt some dishes were a little bit too salty (roasted matsutake), but as far as tasting menus go, it wasn't bad overall. While the presentation of the dessert was nice, it was really impractical to eat and a little bit difficult. I also wish there was more of dessert that's a bit more than two bites haha.

The service was pleasant, friendly, efficient and helpful from the minute we walked in without a reservation. The ambiance and decor was gorgeous and took me out of NYC for a moment. The phenomenal taste of the first sip of the Thai Iced Tea that paired so well with the rest of my meal is the reason behind the first picture I took. For the apps we ordered my favorite- Chicken Curry Puffs and Chicken Satay. The Chicken Curry Puffs were soft and perfectly mashy on the inside and had a perfect crisp to the layered outside. The Chicken Satay was so different here and yet so savory served with this soft garlic bread. The sauces were so fresh, vibrant and distinct and added to both the appetizers. The peanut sauce had crushed peanuts and was such an accompaniment to texture. For the mains, we had the Chicken Pad Thai and the Braised Beef Short Rib in Penang Curry. The Pad Thai was a great standard and tasty with the crisp sprouts and zesty lime. This Braised Beef Short Rib is where it is at! One of their house specialties- the decadent flavors and textures of this dish is something that will be memorable and just the right touch of spice. Lovely bright orange sweet potatoes and beautiful green beans went so well together with the beef and curry. Looking forward to trying more of their menu and not defaulting to my usual. Warmed up Chicken Pad Thai on the pan over the stove today in a little bit of butter, this was as delicious as it was going to get today. I missed one of the most exquisite Thai Iced Teas I've had in a while, it truly set the tone of how great this late lunch was.

The vegetarian spring rolls weren't too heavy and clearly freshly fried with a little sweet and sauce. 3 for $9. We also got the vegetable pad see ew to share - this was probably my favorite even though it was a bit basic generally speaking hahah. I think this was $21. The Moo Dang was super flavorful and came with 3 different kinds of prepared pork. $18 - so good over the rice! The Kao soy is always gonna be a hit over rice as well. We got it with chicken ($20). The staff was very efficient and sweet here! It does get really packed and loud but still do-able. I wouldn't come with more than 4 people haha

Asian fusion variety on the menu so there's definitely something for everyone. Been here a few times already for dinner with a friend and we always try to sample something new. The seitan skewers were fun and you don't miss the meat. It was quite hearty. I personally love and recommend the pumpkin soup! Most dinner entrees come with soup so do ask for the pumpkin if it's available. The spinach dumplings were tasty but a tad over steamed. The dough fell apart when we tried to pick it up. That shouldn't be. My friend recommended the cold green noodles with peanut sauce. For the peanut fan, you'll enjoy it a lot. As for entrees, I thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian duck and the vegan black pepper beef with mushrooms. Both come with green veggies and the underlying sauce is oyster sauce when they stir fry it. Great texture and flavors, you don't miss the meat! That's what makes this menu great. Don't forget the vegan desserts! You won't believe it is...my go to favorites -- coconut cake, the brownies and the peanut butter whoopie pies.

I'd never tried the pancakes here before, and the vegan apple pancakes with a hint of lemon zest were so good. When I was in the UES this past Sunday, and it was FREEZING outside (probably because of my vicinity to the water). Lucky for me, Quantum Leap was not too far from where I was! The inside was small and cozy, and there was a lady who immediately greeted me and got me a menu. The menu was packed with all sorts of mouth-watering options, so it took me a while to finally "settle" for the "buffalo chicken bomber" - the vegan take on the spicy chicken classic. I also got some hot tea for some hydration that was temperature-appropriate. My sandwich was the perfect size---not to big, but packed with flavor. There was plenty of spicy sauce to go around. The "chicken" was perfectly battered and there was also a strip or two of "bacon". If I lived in the UES, I would definitely be stopping in here more often! I appreciated the comfy space and hospitality of the staff as much as I did the food!
