My Philly Cheesesteak Wrap and western potatoes.....

Low quality frozen food poorly prepared. You can find higher quality ingredients and food in the cafeteria of a public school. Literally just go somewhere else, this business should be closed it's clear that management/ownership does not care about the success of this brand or business.

A very good go to establishment for me. With a few locations around the city. I'm most familiar with the Bronx location, this is my first time @ this location. Smaller in size (only a couple of tables), consistent menu items (the features are the same) and good friendly service. Muscle Maker has good staples for healthy eating that are fulling, fresh and offers variety without breaking the budget. Great wraps, veggies and pasta, all with reduce fat options you can't go wrong.

The godfather - healthy, very balsamicy, not tasty, no better than what I can make at home for 3X the price.

Muscle maker grill has some healthy food, I'll give them that. However, it's not very good and it's slightly overpriced. It tastes like something I would have made myself in college. Very basic, healthy, but not particularly good. The godfather was filled with balsamic. They claim 60g of protein, which is nice. But it also has 11 grams of suger and 970 grams of sodium! You can make the same thing with a lot less of both. The reason I have them 2 stars instead of one: the Arizona (which includes turkey bacon) is pretty good.

    Grilled Chicken Sandwich smashed

I got the grilled chicken sandwich, which was decent. Good sized portion. But the delivery container was completely smashed leaving plastic bits covering the meal. The bottom wasn't there on the salad side. So I tossed it out completely. When I requested a portion of the refund they declined.

My son got a mango tropical smoothie with protein added, and it was delicious!! They only have a "medium," but it is very big! Decent price.

Who is the manager here? I got inedible disgusting salad and they refused to refund me TWICE BEWARE

    Small but delicious spot

My new go to for food! As a vegetarian it is sometimes hard to find healthy and protein filled foods. This location is a great one stop shop for protein bars, shakes, and food that is vegetarian friendly. Each order comes with a healthy side dish. I got the veggie wrap and it was decent (not excellent but not bland). But for the price of a chipotle burrito you will feel a lot better and about as full. They also will prepare meals for $8/meal...I might try this out sometime. Will come back and bring friends!

New location for Muscle Maker Grill taking over the random Mediterranean spot no one went into. Small place with the staff running around trying to complete delivery orders. Got welcomed with a menu as I figured out what to get for takeout. Lots of healthy food options for weight gain, weight loss, or just a regular meal. Settled on the European Wrap ($9) which comes with a free side (got the Caesar Salad). Food came out in about 10 minutes; good, considering the relative busy-ness. The wrap holds together the chicken, spinach, peppers and cheese tightly - lots of flavor that's well balanced. The salad is only okay, a few leaves with Caesar dressing on top. This is more of a 3.5 star place. Rounded up because the people inside are really friendly and the area needs a decent healthy option. Will be back.

I really like this place. I am a vegetarian, so I mostly got side items. Items Ordered (via Seamless): 1 Fruit Smoothie $4.49 - slightly melted but delicious 1 Chips and Guacamole $4.50 - really fresh guac, chips were stale 1 Extra Sweet Potato Fries $3.99 - soggy but I reheated in the oven 1 Loaded Baked Potato $3.99 - this was yummy 1 Extra Side Caesar Salad $2.99 - dressing served on top, did not affect quality 1 Sugar Free Cheesecake $2.99 - LOVE THIS - will order again 1 Complete Cookie $3.50 - white chocolate maca nut, this is prepackaged, very good 1 Extra Pasta Salad $2.99 - pass this item. It was gross/mayo-y I am really glad there is a low-calorie option available for delivery. I would order form them again.

Muscle Maker is one of my favorite go to spots. Their XXL Turkey wrap with a side of broccoli hits the spot every time. Their sweet potato fries and Asparagus are my favorite.

When I walked in, all I could think was - this place is SO DIRTY and the guy in back making the food was wearing flip flops

A Hidden Gem That Completely Changed My Perspective on Vegan Food…read more Yesterday was my first visit to Le Botaniste, and I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. The storefront and fresh drinks first caught my attention, so I thought it was mostly a juice or beverage spot. The moment I walked inside, I realized it was so much more. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere, and everything looked incredibly fresh. You can immediately tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The highlight of our visit was the exceptional customer service from Alan. He welcomed us with a smile, took the time to explain the menu, answered all of our questions, and gave us recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge and enthusiasm made choosing our meals easy. Alan recommended their most popular bowl, the Pasta Bolognese, and mentioned it was also his personal favorite. After just one bite, I understood why. It was rich, hearty, full of flavor, and if no one had told me it was vegan, I never would have guessed. It has officially become one of my favorite plant-based meals. For my mother, Alan recommended the seasonal Mediterranean Bowl, and it was another excellent choice. I asked her if she enjoyed it, and her response was simple: "Yes... and I want more." That pretty much says it all. The drinks were also fresh, refreshing, and paired perfectly with our meals. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their drink menu. Even if you're not vegan, don't let that stop you from trying this place. Le Botaniste proves that plant-based food can be comforting, satisfying, and packed with incredible flavor. A huge thank you to Alan for making our first visit such a memorable one. Great food is important, but great hospitality makes people want to come back. Needless to say, I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu.

The bright and beautiful neo-Victorian vibes complement the visually appealing displays of food and decor that recall a 19th century apothecary. With locations around NYC, as well as in Belgium where it all started, La Botaniste serves up "100% organic plant-based food." The bowls are pretty substantive and they have lighter starters/sides too for those who just want to dabble. You can choose one of their signature bowls (the Tibetan Mama, with its satisfying curry base, comes highly recommended), or build your own from a lineup of bases, sauces, toppings, dressings and garnishes. The food tastes fresh and clean, and I include this place in my rotation of healthy quick salad/bowl/vegetarian meal options in the neighborhood. I love that they have raw vegan treats, an increasingly rare find since several of my favorite raw vegan spots in the city closed down over the years. I'll admit I was first lured in by the antiquey aesthetic and the colorful vintage florals, but the food and environment are both very pleasurable.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water. Since we were there for brunch, I decided to try the P.S. Breakfast ($22) which is tofu scramble, spinach, portobello mushrooms, and corn muffins. My friend got the P.S. Burger ($20) with a gluten-free bun ($2). For the breakfast, the portobello mushrooms were the highlight of the dish. They were very juicy and had strong umami flavor! I love spinach even plain, but I think it could have used a touch more seasoning. The tofu scramble was seasoned, but it could either use more seasoning or more moisture. The corn muffins were dry and crumbly, definitely the worst part of the dish. My friend said that the sauce brought the burger together and hid the fact that it's a Beyond burger. She also mentioned that she didn't feel heavy after eating the burger, which was nice. Despite us telling the restaurant that we had to go to a musical, service was on the slower side. My friend also had to try several times to get to the bathroom, since someone was always inside. However, the staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. I would only recommend P.S. Kitchen if you have a dietary restriction and want a restaurant that has a relaxed ambiance before your Broadway show.

Beyond Sushi was in Midtown near where I was staying, so I ended up coming here---on Valentine's Day, which happened to be a mistake! Since I didn't have a reservation, the lady who checked me in told me I had to find a seat at the bar. Her attitude was not the best, as when I looked over the menu and made a decision on what I wanted to get, she dismissed me when I waved her over, saying she is not the person taking orders. Um, okay? Then who is? One guy at the bar was nicer, and was able to take my order. I started off with a hot tea since NYC was cold in February, and then decided to have as much as I could of two dishes---the "chicken" yakitori skewers and the Korean BBQ skillet. The skewers came in a set of two, with a white mayo-like sauce drizzle and pickled cucumber on the side. Super delectable, though very filling because of the protein! The skillet was made with classic Chunk Foods protein, the go-to plant-based option for all the meat dishes at City Roots restaurants as far as I know. This was incredibly filling, but the sauce and the texture were all around delicious as well. I could NOT bother to finish the brussels sprouts the skillet came with---way too much to stomach, and I was going to focus on the "meats" since I can always have brussels any other time! The bill by the end of it was PRICEY. That's why I only go to one of these restaurants as a special treat when I visit NYC. Watch out if you order hot tea...$13!! I guess that's the NYC way, but still!
