Came here due to wanting to try a different Chinese restaurant. They offer sushi here in addition to their regular menu. I tried the Chicken and Broccoli, I requested to have shrimp added. One order of wonton soup. Chicken and broccoli I give it a 6/10, the shrimp was mushy and had a weird taste to it. Most of the chicken was very chewy and really big chunks. The sauce for the chicken and broccoli was very good. The wonton soup I won't rate it so that I can be fair. It's made with pork and I don't eat pork so I did not eat it. I do recommend coming here, my experience maybe different from someone else's.

Chopstix is a small restaurant in a strip mall. I actually drove by it at first. I arrived in time to order from the lunch menu. I started with the shrimp tempura roll which was good. It's hard to mess up that basic roll. I was surprised to see the sweet and sour sauce on the side with my sweet and sour shrimp. The sauce was very thin which made it hard to stick to the shrimp. I think if the sauce was thicker it would have been ok to dip or pour over the shrimp. The shrimp themselves were a little over cooked but not bad. It reminded me of Chinese food you'd get in the mall food court.

My grandpa was excited to try this place. They just recently opened up for dine-in service. Three of went to lunch here on a Sunday, and it wasn't that busy inside but serval people came through to pick to-go orders. The portions are very large and tasted fresh! Three of us each had a cup of soup, shared an order of crab rangoons, and shared the triple delight entree. It was more than enough food, we even had leftovers to take home. The crab rangoons were the star of the show for me, hot and delicious filling with large and crispy wonton wrappers. I could tell they were very fresh. The hot and sour soup was very good too, nice flavor! The wonton strips they brought out with the soups were kind of stale. The triple delight was very good. I was impressed by how tender the chicken and beef were and how fresh the vegetables were! The only downside was that it only had two pieces of shrimp with it, but plenty of other meat! Next time I'd probably try a different entree!

We had the Mongolian Beef as part of the family dinner, as recommended to us by our server. The chicken spring rolls were a bit thick on the outside, but delicious nonetheless. We also had some sushi that unfortunately lacked a bit of flavor without the soy sauce. The beef itself was heavier on the flour, but the onions in that dish were phenomenal. The staff was very friendly, and the ambiance was nice. They gave us a booth table since they weren't too busy.

The cool thing about this restaurant is that even though it's all you can eat it's made to order and sharing is encouraged. Normally a robot brings your food but since we're were in the back room it was delivered by a live person. The food is good. They have lots of vegetarian, seafood, and meat options. The menu is vast- Chinese, hibachi, sushi, ramen, yakisoba, even some American items like mozzarella sticks and French fries and more. You order via tablet. To prevent food waste if you order too much food don't eat it and try to take it to go you are charged a fee. Tea, coke products, boba tea and alcoholic beverages are available. I got so carried area sampling everything I forgot to take pictures. The spicy edamame, mango salad, rock shrimp, tempura shrimp maki roll were all delicious. I will definitely be back. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Tip is included in groups of 6 or more.

I ordered the spicy kani salad and the daikon maki. The daikon maki was incredibly refreshing in this summer heat and I absolutely enjoyed all the fresh flavors. The fresh fish paired so well with that radish paper and yuzu sauce, I could have 2 orders of this minimum! The kani salad wasn't spicy at all, so I added on some soy sauce mixed with wasabi and it really added some extra kick and flavor. My favorite part was the pineapple bits in the salad for that delicious sweet and savory flavor. I will absolutely be back for the same order and more!

Let me give this review in chronological order. We walked in through the door l, and they showed us…read morewhere to sit l, which was nice. However, the chairs I was sitting in were not the most comfortable; the padding on the bottom served no purpose. We sat down and got waters, and calamari for the appetizer. After a couple of minutes, we were served our appetizer, and we found out the calamari was made with octopus, and not squid (there is a difference). It is sad to see this business using octopus as their food, because octopus are very smart and it is not worth it to eat a creature that can remember who you are if you see it more than once. They should at least put a warning on the menu that it is made from octopus. However, that is the curling of the finger on the monkeys paw, because the calamari was very good. I would order it again if it weren't for the fact that it was made from octopus. Anyways, we ordered our sushi, and after waiting about 10 minutes, we received our sushi. All of the rolls that we got were phenomenal. The Philadelphia rolls we got were nice, and the tempura rolls were nice and warm. The worst roll (and yet somehow most pricey) was the Yakuza roll, but that was really just preference. The biggest gripes I had were the uncomfortable chairs, and octopus calamari. If it weren't for those two things this would be a five star restaurant in my books. We will keep coming back however it was really good. I hope the owners of this business will read this review and consider changing the calamari from octopus to squid, but alas, that is unlikely to happen. Will come again

For less than $13 on a Monday afternoon, I had a huge selection of hot soups and entrees. The place was clean and busy, so the freshness of the food was not a concern. I filled myself up with about 5 chicken dishes - General Tso, honey, orange... and soup and a couple of appetizers that I was too full to even attempt the Hibachi Grill, which is usually the highlight of an Asian style buffet. For about the same price as a Panda Express platter, you can eat to your hearts delight, so I'll probably add Asian Buffet into my rotation more often.

I came here thinking this might be a healthy taco place given the name. The description seemed fine. I asked about the salsa situation. If they had hot sauce, what's the protocol? He said he could give me siracha on the side (not my first choice for tacos, but ok?), I got charged for it ($.50). ok fine but maybe give me a heads up before you fill and ring up? Lol. But I was immediately alarmed with what arrived. It was a very heavy meal, given how much white sauce was all over the taco, a whole layer of cheese, and both a hard and a soft taco shell. I regret not originally telling them to put the sauce on the side. even when I scrap it off, there is still too much of it and it overwhelms the flavor/taco. I really did not expect this type of meal given the name of the restaurant. After I got my food and went to look for a spoon to scrape off the white sauce... I found a whole tray of free individual salsa cups on the side. Lol WTF. I thought maybe at least I'll get some protein, but some of the carne asada meat was very chewy, so I ended up not eating some pieces. I don't find anything remarkable about the flavor of meat. The tomatoes and veg have that semi-roasted feel, but eventually it all just started feeling a bit too mushy and gross in my mouth. The green salsa is super acidic (pucker your mouth). The orange hot sauce is spicy, nice. I'm still hungry but pretty grossed out. It's fine in terms of pure calories and not going to make you sick the next day. It just might make me sick in my mouth thinking about another bite. Why 2 stars?! Um. People are nice, food is pretty, and the heavy, mushy, mid-quality meat taco does have its fans.

We ordered a bunch because we were excited to try everything. Usually I feel like handroll/sushi restaurants don't have good drinks but wow are the drinks here amazing and worth every dollar. The sansho sour was stand out and addictive to drink (I had 2). For the handrolls they're a bit on the pricier side which makes dinner here a splurge night. I order 8 handrolls and was still hungry at the end of it. I highly recommend the negitoro which has a bit of chives and shiso, the spicy sake which is spicy salmon with shiso and cucumber, and the spicy tuna. I was basically eating those on rotation throughout dinner and was so happy. The hamachi is solid and yummy as well but at the end of the day it's just hamachi with fried onions so the other handrolls just have more wow. When you order the rolls and sit at the bar the chefs making the handrolls keep tabs on the pace in which you are individually eating at and only deliver the next roll when you're close to finishing your current bite or just finished it. This timing really amazed me and put the cherry on top because I always had something to eat and it was always the freshest it could be. We also got the scallop crudo which I didn't really like at all truthfully. The quality of the ingredients were amazing but the flavor combinations in the sauce were off putting to me so I wouldn't order it again. There was mostly just street parking and they have 2 bathrooms. Overall I would come back to eat here if I was in Kansas City. If comparing to spots in LA I would say the quality of the handrolls would be very average.

Texture was spot on, and taste, while a little out of the ordinary in our experience, was quite interesting. Music was a little loud, probably suited a little better for later in the evening when packed with more people. Prices were a little high, even by our Los Angeles-area standards, but probably appropriate for an "in" spot.
