I still stand by my review of the OP location that TF has the best burger in KC. With that, know that you will wait for about 10-15 minutes for a burger. you will see several people get their food before you, people who came in after you. But be patient, it is worth the wait. this location's service is OK, I noticed it was an all female staff when I was there, I thought that was pretty interesting. For lunch I ordered the thai chicken wrap and a broccoli salad from Twisted Fresh. Both were very good. The wrap was grilled chicken, slaw, and a nice (sriracha?) aioli. The broccoli salad had a nice crunch, light dressing and raisins. I would not hesitate to order again. read more

Still very inconsistant. Ordered the Buffalo Chicken wrap and the West Coast wrap. Not sure what I actually received. The West Coast had a spicy taste but not cajun as described, had blue cheese dressing instead of lime ranch and had no avocado and had tomato which it should not. The Buffalo Chicken had some type of ranch dressing which overpowered the Buffalo sauce. Tasted like they just threw in whatever they had left. read more

We visited the north KC Twisted Fresh location for a late lunch on a Saturday. The menu is an eccentric blend of tacos, burgers, and wraps. You can make each entree a combo for $3 more. The tacos come in sets of 3, and are hard shell inside a soft tortilla and a layer of cheese. I had the steak tacos, and he had the chicken. Both were so good! We made our order a combo, and found that the sides are no afterthought. We selected the broccoli salad and potato salad-both sides were very good. Next time Im in the area, Id definitely consider another stop here to try more of their menu items! read more

I was in the area and decided to stop by before heading home. The food here was spot-on. Everything tasted fresh and had a lot of flavor. I ordered the mahi-mahi tacos and they were delicious. I like that you can see the cooks as they are preparing your food, so you can tell that it is prepared fresh. It took longer than I expected to get my food. I went inside to order my food and saw that there was only 1 other person in there, so I figured it'd be pretty quick. Not sure what's happened, but seems like the business has really gone downhill in the last year or so. My wife got the Mahi tacos, and they were fine! We paid $6+ for a kids macaroni, which is clearly a microwaved bowl of premade Kraft. It had the texture of macaroni that's been kept for leftovers. It was entirely dry and had zero taste. Never observed my kid turn away mac and cheese before; first time for everything. Finally, I ordered a $12+ burger and got home to see it wasn't made correctly... no biggie. Stopped back in later and picked up the new burger. Complete silence from the staff. No, 'sorry about that' or any other attempt to make things right, just a silent handoff of the old/cold food and the newly made sandwich. Fortunately, lots of barbecue was dumped on top the patty, because it was cooked like an absolute hockey puck. Couldn't tell you about the quality of ingredients due to hardly being able to chew and swallow it. You can check out the picture attached... the inside was literally falling off in pieces. Honestly the food is good. The girl running the register is terrible. Placed our order. She acted like we annoyed her. Unfortunately I brought my shrimp tacos back in because there was a long black hair wrapped in my food. I wasn't mean or rude. It happens. But her response was so rude. She literally rolled her eyes. Never once apologized turned her back and said "I guess she wants her tacos remade." I am not sure how someone can act like this and still have a job. But l doubt we will be back. I picked up to-go from this location during the covid restrictions. Everything was still perfectly fresh. I got the mahi mahi in a salad bowl instead of the tacos for the first time (the tacos are usually my go-to). And it was delicious still. I was actually surprised everything still tasted the same without the "taco" shells. So if you need a good low-carb or no grain option, that's definitely it. The food came out fast with a call in order, and they were still fairly busy it seemed. First time at this location but definitely pleased with the outcome and I'd return. read more

The mahi mahi tacos were incredible! I tried Twisted Fresh a while back and apparently I didn't know what to order. I saw a review about the mahi mahi tacos and I'm super glad I went with them. I really liked the double decker concept (hard shell inside, melted cheese, then soft outer tortilla). The salsa was fresh and not too spicy. One problem that I had was that the salsa was pretty juicy and kept dripping everywhere as I ate it. The flavor was vibrant and there was plenty of mahi mahi inside. The 3 tacos were a perfect amount and filled me up in a hurry. If you like fish tacos, definitely go with the mahi mahi tacos. I went at about 8 at night and got my food in about 15 minutes. A couple of good friends had recommended Twisted Fresh to me, so I decided to give it a try. It's located in The Village of Burlington Creek off Tom Watson Parkway by I-29 and 64th St. Stepping inside a modern and somewhat sterile, functional space I walked up to the ordering station and place an order for Mahi-Mahi tacos with a side of slaw and broccoli salad. I watched as the staff prepared my choices and in a short time, I heard my name called. I walked up to the delivery window and picked up a colorful basket of delicious looking food! Going back to my table, I wrestled off the tops of my two sides, and dug in! The spicy Thai slaw, cheddar & pepper jack cheese topped with pico de gallo & a sriracha honey aioli, was an incredibly refreshing burst of flavor in my mouth. The three tacos were huge! Unfortunately, the sides really weren't all that flavorful, I won't order them the next time. The next time I go back I plan on trying the Baja Shrimp Tacos. Well Done Twisted Fresh! read more

Food was good. Price was good. Took a little while but was worth it. Self service drinks. Probably would rate food 3-4 stars as it was tasty but the portions were small and it took a while. I took off for the perks that weren't perks. After I ordered they asked about rewards program and I said not a member yet. Every $100 spent maybe get $10 off. My meal was $40 as I bought for 4 of us. I was told I could enroll but not count the $40 towards reward. Then as i was paying my wife commented we would be back because we lived at Denton next door. She said they give 10% discount to the Denton. I asked for discount then and she said too late. Great "perks". I normally give 4-5 stars everywhere but here I felt cheated so will avoid them for a while. May go back but not as quickly. They could have asked if we wanted to join club before ordered.
