Tried it for the first time as takeout today; not a place to dine in. The chicken in Kung Pao chicken was tough. The medium spicy was mild. The pork fried rice was good and the only reason it received 2 stars. I also ordered a large hot and sour soup and they wanted to charge .50 cents extra for extra noodles! If Panda Express is a 3 star, this one is 2 stars!Update; After trying the hot and sour soup; it's down to 1 stars. Not spicy and whatever taste is has is BAD! It smells BAD from afar! The good the bad the ugly. The lady at the register was very nice. Bought chicken and broccoli, crab Rangoon, small side of white rice and one egg roll. The chicken was slightly overcooked and in need of some extra seasoning. The rice was all clumped which means it's been in the steamer for a while. The egg rolls are small and don't have that crunch that you come to expect. The same thing with the crab region. It was meh at best The inside of try restaurant needs work. The photos they use appear outdated. Something from the 70s also don't hide your kitchen from the customers. People like to see the inside of a kitchen with drapes. I'm sorry to leave a negative review but the first thing was shock by the increase $13 of price that is posted in the menu online. They even posted a sign in the restaurant right above the old menus saying that the prices have increased. Who does that? Post the current prices for heavens sake. Our new favorite quick meal is a bowl of their hot and sour soup followed by each of us ordering their hot wings. We order medium heat level which is just perfect for us. Just a hit of hot pepper on the back of your tongue. They're absolutely scrumptious! A serving is eight large breaded chicken wings fried then a hot chili sauce is poured over them. Extremely addictive and a great deal at $6.95 for a plate!! Of course their hot and sour soup still remains delicious and filling with ground pork added to their soup for only $2.50 a bowl. This place has been the best in food and service since we started going to them over 5 years ago. Just ordered from Chopstix again, first time in a while and they are still my FIRST choice. The hot and sour soup remains the BEST and I love their Singapore noodles! Dumplings are good whether steamed or fried and my new favorite is the Szechuan eggplant - medium hot - wow! Clear my head and make me smile. Food here is very good! I was skeptical being in a strip mall, but I've been having some less than ideal meals at other area Chinese restaurants for a while now and felt I had nothing to lose. I really wish I had gone here sooner. Ordered 6 different meals and all were quite delicious. The ingredients were fresh. The servings were full and the price was lower than other places around town. The service was also fast and friendly. There are dining tables inside but for now the establishment is not allowing dine in. I would definitely eat here when they do. Wow 5 star you say, yes they really are making it happen here for fast food take out or I think they have 3 or 4 tables and they do dinners for 2,3,4,5 one price includes meal, rice, egg roll and soup. This is the best fast food take out in this area, there are good ones but until you try them out you will agree. They have lunch combinations $6.50 - 8.95 11am to 9:30 pm remember closed on Mondays! The chicken Szechuan style is better then some sit down restaurants the pork Szechuan is good to but they cut the pork in strips . The hot and sour soup is the best I have ever eaten and my wife Cheryl feels the same way, egg rolls are out of this world good. Shrimp Lo Mein with white or fried rice cooked to perfection nice size shrimp for the price. I never knew they had so many kinds of soup 8 different ones. Service is fast and the food is super fresh. Christmas Eve so we decided to try yet another Crystal River/Homosassa Chinese restaurant. Like all the others it is pretty much dismal. We ordered Tso Chicken ( usually a safe bet ) and Shrimp and Scallops Szechuan style. Oh yeah let's not forget the PooPoo plater (it is Christmas Eve after all). Let's start with the service. It was pretty quick and cordial. Place was clean-ish. I give three stars for the service. I kinda of like ( you are going to hate me for this and it's not racist) the Asian woman or man that would normally take your order that never seems to understand but gets it in the end. The one everyone complains about but agree it's part of the experience. I also did not like being able to see the chefs cooking your food as you can with most Chinese restaurants that prepare Americanized Chinese food. They had neither. Now the food Poo Poo Platter (a very appropriate name) was horrible . Shrimp over cooked, waaaaay over cooked to almost black. It's what happens when using burnt oil. The wontons were very greasy, the chicken wings greasy and over cooked (they went in the trash as did the shrimp ) it was embarrassing to think someone would actually let food like this go out the door,spare ribs were 90% grizzle and the little steak on a stick thing was like jerky . Enough of the platter just stay away and it ain't cheap. Tso Chicken was advertised with vegetables . I counted two carrot sticks 3 snow pea pods and 2 mini corn. A boat load of chicken tho , that was palatable. Sauce was a bit over bearing but edible. I'm not a fan of Tso chicken swimming in a tub of sauce.The chicken was tender and tasted good but it usually does I would say that they give you too much chicken. The crunchy noodle things were greasy but good. The seafood was ok. Not much in there and pretty tasteless , but a ton of vegetables which we shared. Over all we probably won't t go back as our bar is set kind of high for Chinese food. It tasted just like all the others around and appeared to be a bit more expensive. There won't be a next time for this place which is too bad we were hoping for a gem. The search continues for a Chinese restaurant. We have lived in the area for years and haven't found a good one yet. One last thing The egg rolls and steamed rice were good. Go figure read more

What a little hidden gem. I'm really a Chinese food lover who was spoiled living in the Orlando area and it's massive amount of ethnic restaurants of every nationality. The best Chinese cuisine in that market was also a small place in a strip mall. It was named 369, and located in the suburbs of Winter Springs. Chopstick Express meets and even surpasses the quality. The Shrimp Egg Foo Young was delicious with wonderful flavours and plump succulent and not overcooked shrimp. Plus the portions were more than adequate The same quality was exhibited in my dining partner's Lemon Chicken with white rice.
