Excellent quality sushi at an unbeatable price. I drive about 10 miles to come here because of the sushi. I haven't had any of the Chinese food here. The sushi chef is very nice and easy to talk to. I am very pleased with this place so far, I have had the Dragon Roll and the Sesame Chicken, and both were really good! The portion sizes for both was very generous for the price, and they both were very good quality. The sushi wasn't fishy and tasted fresh, and the Sesame Chicken was not over cooked and tasted good, no freezer burn or off tasting pieces as I've had at some other Chinese restaurants. The sauce for the chicken was sweet, tangy, and had a great garlicky flavor. Can't wait to try their other dishes! read more

Here right now only ordered 1 order of Sping Rolls and 1 order of chicken egg rolls. The Spring Rolls are fabulously hot and crisy they cook them when ordered BUT the chicken egg rolls whole different story they are cold so disappointing! You know they are cold why serve that crap to people like they came in asking for free food! I paid for my stuff and can't get my stuff hot, ridiculous! I love this place! They give you a ton of food for super cheap! I always get the orange chicken. The curry is amazing as well and I love their boba tea and slushies. I typically visit here once a week and they remember that I always want boba in my mango slushie since I stop by so often. It makes me feel good as a customer that they always remember me. I have recommended this place many times to friends. The interior and exterior is kind of boring and out-dated but the only downside to that is maybe people will pass this place up because it doesn't look super fancy. I faded this hoe on a Friday morning with my little sister and had a great experience, to say the least. A converted fast food burger joint to fast food Chinese/sushi place. I frequent this place when ever im craving cheap Chinese or no frills sushi. The place has good Chinese takeout favorites like General Tso, Sesame Chicken, and even a green curry Thai dish. The servings are huge and easy serve as lunch and dinner. I decided to go to Chopstick Express based on yelp reviews but I was quite disappointed. I ordered Tso chicken and beef curry with fried rice along with sunrise dragon sushi roll. The Tso chicken breading was so hard and my fried rice was so dark. I have never seen brown fried rice in my life. A true hole in the wall. The building is a former fast food drive thru with a playground. The place is a little eerie without a playground. The interior is surprisingly nice. Their lunch special has huge proportions I can't even finish. There's sushi is nothing too special but it is a nice touch. I highly recommend the little dumplings. Love this place! Great sushi for the price and can't believe I can get it through the drive-thru! The New York roll is my favorite so far. Orange chicken is very good and so is the lo mein. The lo mein is greasy like some of the other reviews have said, but hey, there's grease in a lot of things. It's still yummy! Don't be fooled by the location or its look. I love this place! I eat here couple times per week. It's quick and dirt CHEAP for fast-food Americanized-Chinese. $5 for most entrees. GENEROUS portions (includes rice or lo mein... plus an egg roll). 50-cents for a soda... done deal! They do have daily lunch specials, but I order off the menu 'cuz it's hotter, made-to-order versus being scooped from a buffet table. The sushi is very good, too... tried it a few times. It's fresh, but not THE freshest. It depends on what you order. But overall, it's still an awesome deal for sushi... combos ranging in the $6 range. It's an old McDonalds. Imagine their old tables and chairs. Don't expect padded booths and tablecloths. Ironically, they're right across from a similar Chinese fast-food joint... Egg Roll Express?! Come here if you want cheap Chinese food with huge potions. I usually get the general tso chicken with lo mein. It comes out to be around $6, which is a steal because I can usually eat it for 2-3 meals. The food is good for the price but I can only come here like twice a year because it leaves me feeling like crap. Don't get me wrong though, it tastes great while you're eating it. They just use too much oil and you can really taste it when eating the lo mein. Three years ago, I ordered the sugar biscuits. Never again. I can still remember how it made me feel after I ate it. In my opinion, this is the best place in town to get good Asian food at a great price. The only other place we go for Asian food is one of the buffets around town and that's only when we want to dine in. Now, once in a while, you may get a dish that's lacking a bit in flavor... but the majority of the time, it's very delicious and they definitely don't skimp out on the delicious sauces. The sushi definitely isn't like a fancy sushi place, but for the price and to-go, it's definitely adequate. The staff is nice and polite. I was in Garland from out of town. Checked out Yelp and came to Chopstick Express. I thought for sure I was at the wrong place when I arrived at the address because it looks so questionable (it is an old fast food restaurant), so thanks to the Yelper who said as much in his review. The prices are laughable (in a good way), the entire time I was eating I was wondering how many employees must be family members and not get paid. How can you serve 12 (12!!) delicious pot-stickers for $3.99 and still turn a profit. I had (2) sushi rolls, and a side of pot-stickers and the bill was about $13.00 after taxes!! Love everything here! The prices are great, the food is great, and the portions are huge! I always get the lunch special with lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, beff and broccoli, and hot and sour soup! Sooo good and only $5 something and there's so mucj I eat half for dinner! This has been our normal place for Chinese. It has been pretty good until lately. Like today, my daughter and I purchased the Garland Roll and the Combination Lo mein. Was not happy with it at all. The roll she purchased had a fishy, dirt taste to it. And of course my lo mein had a fishy, dirt taste to it as well. Meaning the shrimp. The beef and chicken in my plate was okay. It was just the shrimp that had a nasty dirty taste. We both just closed it up and put it away. Not happy with it at all. Very disappointed with Chopstick Express today. This is my go to Chinese restaurant when I'm craving something good and super affordable. I don't like the way the inside/outside of the restaurant looks so i always order my food to go. Combination fried rice for $6.50 is my fav, it's a nice portion and pretty good taste!! They have great deals for $5.40.. Ive only had one bad experience where my dumbass ordered pork ribs(i took literally 2 bites), it was insanely disgusting, i asked the manager for a refund or exchange and he refused because of "food cost". Overall that experience didn't really phase my craving for their food because i go there at least 2 times a month. Their food looked really tasty and seemed to have good reviews, so I ordered a sushi roll and the sesame chicken. I went straight home after I went through the drive through. Unfortunately, I got sick as a dog after I ate it. I'm not sure which one had gone bad but I'm pretty sure I had gotten food poisoning. It was awful. They probably weren't being clean or maybe the food had been sitting out for a long time. I won't eat there again, although I think the idea of drive through Chinese is pretty cool.
