As mentioned by the restaurant's promise they use for never using MSG, their food is extremely fresh, made-from-scratch in the kitchen! Chopstick's ingredients are extremely fresh, and especially with incredible flavor and quality! Chopstick may have a decent quantity of food in the buffet, but I definitely enjoy having the opportunity to eat Coconut Shrimp, Chicken and Broccoli, Fried Rice, and Veggie Mei Fun! Oh, and sushi rolls are also available for the taking with the buffet option, but an additional $5.99 for takeout sushi (not included in the buffet takeout). Despite the quiet ambiance, the restaurant has great casual vibes for lunch hours. On top of the top-notch service, our server was extremely friendly from being seated until the time we got our fortune cookies! It was an ok Chinese buffet. The sushi had a lot of rice that was very chewy. The "healthier" options were limited due in part to the size of the place. The banana pudding wasn't fresh and had an artificial taste. The staff are at your beck and call and are ready to take your plate as soon as you're done. I have ordered twice through the drive thru both in July. The meal was acceptable if home cooked and I bought and poured a sauce on it. Coconut shrimp was shrimp, rice and sauce. No batter on the shrimp. Next time Gen Tsao's chicken and rice. Same... Chicken tenders and rice with sauce. Again if home cooked from non professional would eat it. But paying for it was bad. 3 other Chinese/Vietnamese style restaurants in the area surpass the quality. I'm not bashing the Chop Stix as maybe my expectations were set too high. We love Chopstick! We almost always get takeout, so I will speak to that. First, the food is always VERY, VERY fresh! The ingredients must be very fresh for the food to be so incredibly good. My husband loves the Wonton Egg Drop Soup, Shrimp Fried Rice and the Egg Foo Yung. The Egg Foo Yung portion is incredible and it always provides enough food for two full meals. My favorite is the Mongolian Beef. The portion here is also big and definitely sharable. All items can be ordered mild or spicy and we love that option. The staff is courteous and friendly. Orders never take long, and they also have an online ordering option. I scored them a four because the Egg Drop Soup on our last order was flavorless. This is not typical for Chopstick at all. 07/01/24, I ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken. It was so tuff and dry that it was very hard to chew. I ordered from them numerous times before and had no issues with the quality of the food. I threw half of it out before deciding to take it back for a re-fund and advise them to more carefully monitor their cooks. I spoke to the manager who refused to refund the cost of the food. I ordered sweet and sour shrimp expecting it to be delicious with gulf shrimp, however, what I received was a ball of fried batter covering a bait shrimp and to top it off the shrimp tail was stuck into the batter. I expected sweet and sour combinations of food with fried (or steamed) rice delivered to my door in a brown paper sack that was double bagged in a plastic sack. A family run operation, the service is very friendly and personal. I asked about a few buffet items that were Chopstick originals. We ordered orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and shrimp with lobster sauce. I'm fairly certain the shrimp had spoiled. The order came with lo mein. The noodles were orange!
