My best friend and I decided to try out Chop'd. Being first timers, we spent a few minutes reading their full menus provided near the counter by the chalkboards on the wall. She decided to order their black bean wrap and a tea, while I ordered the California chicken wrap and acai bowl. The food tastes good. It's pricey - you are paying by the weight, either oz or lbs. But at least you know you're eating healthy and they use real, fresh ingredients. Like it smells better than Subway when you walk in. So why did I dock 2 stars you ask? Well, by the time we ordered, paid, and were handed our food, it was about 7:20pm on Friday night. As you can see on Yelp, Google, and on Chop'd's door, they close at 8pm. However, after we sat down at a table and were mid first bite of our wraps, an employee informed us that the dining area was closed...40 minutes before actual closing time? Yeah, that's weird. This is my new favorite restaurant near work. Really nice staff, REALLY Fresh food. I cant wait to go back and get another salad! I highly recommend it. I got the Apple Walnut salad and added chicken. It for sure needed more Dressing than what they give you, BUT, I asked for more, so i was good. They actually cut the apples up right in front of you, so when I say Fresh, I mean Fresh. The chicken was great. I added Teriyaki Chicken, but I think any would have been good. Very important....The salads we got were HUGE. They came out to $10 each Fully loaded, but you can get smaller...just ask. So next time, I will likely get HALF the size and I'd be happy. Also, the salads are just a starting point, you can custom make any salad you want. Add or retract off a pre-defined salad. This place sucks. My family and I came here 10 minutes before their closing and they already locked the doors. When we initially tried opening the door, the lady and a guy ignored us and did not even acknowledge us. For a small business, this was a bad move to hire these people! I use to come here to Chop'd every Monday and Tuesday after Muay Thai and since the gym closed I hadn't been here in years. So I was on my way home from Long Beach figured I would make a detour and get the California wrap like I use to always get and found out they no longer have cheddar cheese cubes. The Cheddar is what made Chop'd wraps stand out away from everyone else. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because they got rid of the cheddar. Other than that the wraps are awesome. Please bring back the cheddar. read more

The veggie wraps here are my favorite. Super good and fresh food. I love that it has that fast food aspect to it but it's quality ingredients and you don't feel nasty after eating here. I got the Asian sesame salad without onions. They have 2 recommended dressings and they let you sample them, which is really cool. I've never encountered that before, but I may just be uncultured lol The salad was amazing. I've never had a salad with jicama before. Super tasty! They also have 2 chicken options--plain or garlic. I used to really like coming here . However , lately the size portions are smaller and the prices are still very expensive for what your getting . I gave it a couple last chances when coming here but it's just not worth it . Whenever I order a wrap it's basically nothing but lettuce and little chicken . They stopped serving avocado for a long time which I understood why since everything was going up... but I was told they had it back and decided to order online through Grubhub and they gave no avocado when I was told that same day they had it back and is not extra charge unless you order on paninis. Definitely recommend the South of the Border wrap with cilantro dressing and extra crunchy onions. Had the club sandwich but probably wouldn't order it again. An awesome place for a fresh and quick salad, wrap or smoothie. The salads are large and filling. I'm vegan and I get the South of the Border salad, and I ask for no meat and no cheese. I get the vegan chipotle dressing - I would take a bath in that stuff. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and always ask me if I want to add more veggies or more items on my salad. They can customize anything you want, basically. Also, my boyfriend has Celiac's and of course needs gluten free, and he loves their salads, too. read more

For around $8 to $10 you can get a fairly large portion of food, and as far as salad prices go I think that's at least reasonable for the quality of their ingredients. I like the food but they always seem understaffed. It's lunch time...there should be more than 2 people working behind the counter. It might help to also start an assembly-line production. The way it works now is one employee takes care of you from start to cash register and then has to go wash hands, get new gloves and then start with the next customer. Just doesn't appear efficient. I also question their pricing. I ordered two wraps off the wrap menu which list the prices as $7.99. Upon paying, the wraps were weighed and I was charged for crafting my own wrap at 49 cents/ounce. What should have been $15.98 plus tax for 2 wraps became $17.54 plus tax. Their menu should be more clear about how they charge. read more
