I love this! It was my first time. I went through the drive through and they asked if it was my first time and took the time to explain the menu to me. I was taking a little bit of time deciding what I wanted and kept apologizing. The young lady taking my order told me no need to be sorry this was my time and they wanted to make sure I liked what I ordered. It made me feel good! I got the burrito bowl. I didn't want a certain ingredient in it due to an allergy and instead of just loosing out on that ingredient I got to pick another one to replace it! I ordered avocado expecting to have to pay a little extra but nope! I will be back! First time here, After returning home with my salad, there was a long, singular, dark hair in it. I hope when employees are prepping or whatever there is some kind of hair net being utilized for those with long hair. The employees in the front did not know how much the chips were, or how much some of the deserts were. The salad portion was great size for the price. There are a ton of options to choose from in customizing the salad. It would be great if there was an unchopped option, one with just normal lettuce. First time the order was missing items, second time the order wasn't ready when it was supposed to be, this time I drive 20 minutes home and they didn't include any dressing and I had to drive all the way back to get it. Pretty good! I made a build-your-own salad (romaine, avocado, chickpeas, tomatoes, red onions, carrots, sunflower seeds, lemon vinaigrette). It was surprisingly huge and filling. The ingredients were all fresh - including the avocado. Everything was chopped into fairly small pieces, which I appreciated; I didn't have to negotiate any huge pieces of lettuce or wedges of tomato. The romaine seemed to be mostly the green parts rather than white rib pieces, and I liked that, too. The only thing I'd have changed was the lemon vinaigrette. It tasted fine, but pretty artificial - like bottled dressing. I noticed they have oil and vinegar as a dressing option, so I'll try that next time; maybe it will have less of a bottled quality. I will say that the amount of dressing they supplied (I asked for it on the side) was just right for the size of the salad. On the side I had a pretzel, which was soft, warm and salted just right. I did think this was a little on the pricey side; the salad, pretzel and a bottle of Pepsi cost about $15. Then again, the salad really was large, fresh and tasty. Service was prompt and friendly. I love that their menu clearly marks which items and ingredients are vegan. The vegan options are abundant! The menu also provides the calorie count of every salad component, which would be very helpful for anyone on a diet. I'll definitely eat there again the next time I'm on that side of town. read more

Chop stop is the place to go if you are looking for a healthy, affordable and quick meal. They have a huge variety of options on their menu. From chopped salads, to warm bowls with rice, and they can even wrap any salad you decide to get. I have tried the chopped salads, wraps, and bowls multiple times, and each time I have been full after each meal. My favorite salad option is the BBQ chop. The BBQ chop wrap is my new favorite! The serving sizes are great for what you are paying. Fresh ingredients, very kind staff, and a healthy option for a quick drive-thru meal. read more

The idea is a great one: A drive-thru salad restaurant with many salads on their menu from which to choose. On your way home from work but don't want unhealthy fast food from a Wendy's, Burger King, Taco Bell, KFC, so on and so forth? The Chop Stop will make your salad while you wait (usually not more than 10 minutes--less time than you'd spend in the drive-thru at an In-And-Out Burger). But, apparently, the owner is having a hard time keeping competent employees and they are sending customers away without first checking to see if they are fulfilling the customers' orders. My wife and I ordered two Santa Fe Chop salads this evening for $16.29 each. Here's how the salad was described on the menu: House Mix (Iceberg & Spinach) + Roasted Chicken + Avocado + Pepper Jack Cheese + Roasted Corn + Black Beans + Tortilla Strips + Cilantro Lime Dressing. When we got home we discovered that neither salad had roasted chicken, nor pepper jack cheese. To be clear, there was no chicken or cheese at all on either of our salads. And one of our salads was also missing tortilla strips. $16.29 is not unreasonable for a salad with chicken these days, but it's ridiculous that whoever created our salads didn't check to see that two of the main ingredients--chicken and cheese--were missing from our order. As much as we love the idea of a drive-thur salad place in our neighborhood, we won't be returning to Chop Stop. read more

Nice little healthy alternative to all the fast food around. My first time there, the service was pretty good. The person taking my order was very informative. I tried both a salad and chopurrito. Both had great flavors. I think the chopurrito represented a good value but the salad was over priced for what you get. I wish they also offered more protein choices besides chicken. I'll be back to try other flavors but I'll probably stick to the chopurrito unless they improve the salad portions. read more

What a gem! Luckily heard about this from a friend. My whole family enjoyed! One kid ordered chicken noodle soup and he said it was really good. The rest of us had salads. So nice to be able to enjoy a quick, healthy meal. We went in so we could see their menu, there are many varieties of salads, or you can create your own. I also appreciate that they ask if you want your dressing regular, light on the dressing, or on the side. I went with light on the dressing and was very pleased because it was perfect. The rest of the family had regular dressing and they enjoyed theirs as well. They also offer soup or wraps. So there is variety as well. I will for sure go again. I am giving my 5 star rating for the food only. I went to this establishment a few days ago for the first time . I was greeted when I walked in by a lady at the register. She asked if I had been there before and I said no it was my first time, she was in the middle of inputting an online order and said she would be right with me. Another couple walked in and the lady asked for help from her radio and I heard someone actually "yell" something at her that I could not make out, then another lady came out from the back didn't say anything to me, asked the employee what she was doing (rudely) and then told her to stop doing that and help me. It was obvious that the employee was newer and maybe a little slower but she was trying and this other lady was just straight up rude!!I felt bad for her. My food was delicious but my impression of the employees was not good at all. This lady showed up to work was trying her hardest to help everyone only to have another employee be a complete bitch! She should be thankful that she had a employee that wanted to work. Be nice ! Especially when customers are in the store because it only made YOU look like an idiot not the employee!! Stopped here on a whim for a quick, fresh meal. I'll start by saying that there are lots of enticing options, not just salads. I ordered a Cobb Chop, with cheddar cheese instead of tomatoes. I also ordered ranch instead of blue cheese. I'll start by saying that the salad sat in my car for 40 mins before I was able to eat it. In spite of that, it was amazingly crisp and fresh. It felt like the price was hefty for a salad, but really, the salad was very heavy. In fact, I filled up a salad bowl and still had over half left in the container! The entire salad was full of toppings evenly mixed throughout, so each bite was tasty and had lots of toppings. It did not have that recognizable bagged lettuce taste that the grocery store stuff has. It simply tasted fresh. My only complaint is the ranch dressing. If you are used to eating ranch out of a bottle or from other fast food restaurants, you probably won't mind it. I, on the other hand, only eat homemade ranch. The ranch that came with this salad was no better than anything out of a bottle, therefore I was disappointed. I could tell just by looking at it that it likely wouldn't be great. I like creamy, savory, ranch, but this was tangy and just not good. Lots of local pizza and burger joints make their own or purchase really good stuff, that was not the case here. It reminded me of the packets you get at drive-throughs. Fortunately, I had homemade ranch at home and used that. Overall, though, I was very happy and will return with the whole family. The kids will enjoy creating their own meals and trying the soft pretzels. read more

Chop Stop probably makes it into my prayers once a week, praying someone will open one in Sparks. I'm obsessed with this place. So are my children; kids who refuse most vegetables. As a business owner who does the same, I have so much respect for that. Everyone has off days, and it's a gentle reminder that no one is perfect. Not only is the food exceptional but so is the customer service!!! Ive been ordering delicious food from this location for work lunch for well over a year. Today I used doordash and there was a misunderstanding with my order in which doordash returned my food back to the restaurant with. When I contacted the restaurant not only were they understanding but they actually sent one of their personal employees to deliver my food to me. I was blown away by this kindness and customer service and as always my lunch was so delicious!! Chop Stop is consistently delicious and always a number one for us for our lunch order. Chop stop has delicious salads. You can customize your salad. But we felt the salads were a bit pricey for what you get. We are not meat eaters so a salad with no meat should not be priced the same as a salad with meat. The vegi meat options were not great. We tried this place twice. My husband and I tried the Chop Shop for the very first time this evening. When we arrived there was a couple eating and a couple more people where waiting for their orders. A very friendly lady must have known by the look on our faces we had never been there before. She explained the menu and sent another girl out to take our order. We decided on the Sante Fey salad and asked how large it was. She said they were quite large so we decided to split the salad. She said they could split it onto two bowls for us and I thought that was amazing. We sat down so the person behind us could order. We sat waiting for over 20 minutes but just figured the place was super busy. In actuality when my husband inquired, the place was empty besides us, we found they lost our order and were quite apologetic. We took our salad home and split it and it was fresh, filling and enough for two people. The dressing however could have been doubled as it was enough for one of our plates. I was excited to find this jewel and feel that the price is at the correct price point for the area and quality of food. I do feel that unfortunately the staffing could have been better as we were forgotten entirely. Female staff working drive thru was extremely rude. Once at window to pay and receive order, she then walked past the window behind the cashier and very obviously rolled her eyes at me. Then once I had my to go salad given to me and proceeded to drive away I realized that they did not provide any cutlery to be able to eat my salad. This may not be a big deal if you were taking the salad home or to work but not everyone does that. I had to stop at the gas station to try and find a fork to eat my salad. The big, chopped salads they have here are exactly what we've been needing in South Reno. Not only are they big and chopped, but the price is great. There is a huge list of things you can get on your salad, and it's all fresh with many interesting ingredients that make salads not boring.
