I reached out to Choice on Yelp back in November (this review is long overdue!) for a quote to have my gutters cleaned and moss removal on my roof after the heavy rains we'd been getting in the fall, and Cliff was quickly responsive and super professional and was able to put me on the schedule within a few days. In addition to the routine cleaning, moss removal, and moss treatment, he pressure washed everything to look better than it had in a few years, and he was also able to patch up a problem area where the gutter had pulled away from the eave and was causing water to drip down and pool in my backyard. This was the first, but not last time we will have called on Cliff for home maintenance. We had two issues for him today, both which he took care of to my complete satisfaction. First was the installation of anti-roosting stainless wire strips in a nook of our roof where pigeons had been roosting, making a nasty mess. Cliff cleaned the entire area before gluing the strips to our metal roof. He also made an attachment repair to the gutter at that point, where it had sagged away from the eave slightly. The second item was the reattachment of part of the soffit below the eave on the rear of our house. Cliff installed previously omitted screws , and even touched-up the joint and screw heads with paint I supplied. I plan to call on him this coming spring to pressure wash our concrete patio and walkways. We are happy to recommend Cliff and his company with confidence you will get excellent work, and at fair rates. He calls when he says he will, and keeps in touch as agreed upon before the appointment. He's a polite and well skilled young man who I feel lucky to have met. read more

I'd give Cliff Alameda NEGATIVE STARS if I could. Cliff is super dishonest from beginning. Originally we asked him to only clean our roof and gutter but he quoted us anything BUT roof and gutter. The day of the appointment he was late for 2 hours without calling (I had to take 1/2 day off originally but ended up using a FULL ONE DAY!!!). Besides that, he did a very poor job on gutter. Upon going up there to inspect myself last week, roof still had moss all over and gutters were NOT cleaned!!! Unbelievable. Don't know what he was doing on roof the entire time. Just today our roof has big leaks at 2 places... do NOT use him. AVOID THIS DISHONEST GUY!!! FRUSTRATED! read more
