This small ice cream shop is a jewell! I can't think of how long I been coming here. I stumbled on this small place through my barbershop dapperz being next door. Very humble owner treats you like family, located in Inglewood. This place opens early for coffee has a whole sandwich and bagel section and everything is freshly made to order. I love their sandwiches here, my children love their ice cream. This place has grown in me because of how kind and resilient the owner is as well as the store this place survived covid and it's to no surprise. This small joints pumps out some of the best sandwiches smoothies ice cream and even coffee in the area. Latino owned this place is a must!! I love their atmosphere here and I'm sure you will too! Don't doubt this place ohh and the prices are very generous! I can't say enough about the place it's definitely a diamond in the rough!

2020: The quintessential neighborhood ice cream shop; with the charm of years past. This shop does it all; from custom ice-cream cakes (which are very hard to find) ; fresh bagels & donuts; boba milk teas; breakfast sandwiches; tortas; milkshakes; & so much more. It would be impossible to list it all. Family-owned and operated ; this place is a necessity not for just the local Inglewood area but for the city as a whole. Yes, people do come from far away to pre-order cakes; or simply stop by for conversation and endless fresh fruits & other treats. Parking is plentiful; prices are extremely reasonable; and service is most sincere & quick! You can spend 2 minutes or 2 hours here ; plenty of tables & chairs. I have been here over 150 times in the last three years; and have no intention of stopping.

YUMMM!!! Love this place! It is a hidden gem in this town! I don't think there's a good dessert place in Inglewood, but this place has everything!!! SO many ice cream choices and that's not even the best part, their ONE SCOOP is GINORMOUS!!!! I love that theyre so generous! They have different kinds of cones to choose from and toppings also!!! They have frozen yogurt! Like the type you find at yogurtland and pinkberry. Their fresh fruits are always so fresh and they always take care of it. The yogurt is the perfect consistency, it's not runny like some other places. The people that own this store also own a cake store in the same plaza, so they actually make ICE CREAM CAKES!!! It's kinda like the ones at Baskin Robbins, but BETTER! The ice cream cakes from baskin robbins are made days ahead and they just sit in the fridge until someone purchases it. Anyways, awesome place... if you're ever in Inglewood and you're craving sweet, come here! You won't regret it!

Shaved Ice With 3 Flavors So Tasty On A Hot Day

Shaved Ice is so good.. I got as many flavors as I wanted.. The young girl behind the counter was so nice and helpful... There were so many different flavors of ice cream and different items on the menu to choose from. It was cheap and reasonable prices... The chocolate cover strawberry's my boyfriend got where fresh and dipped in chocolate within a few mins. I will definitely be back on a hot summer day again.!

My son suggested we stop at Ghost Sando Shop before I dropped him and his fiancée off. Great idea. My wife and I shared the Kickin' Chicken: chicken, BLAST spread, chipotle adobo, melted mozzarella and sharp cheddar, topped with lettuce, pickled jalapeño, tomato, and white onion. It was delicious. The guy at the counter was friendly and welcoming, and even delivered our sandwiches to us as we sat outside at one of the shaded tables - it was pleasant if you need a spot to eat versus taking it to go. One thing I really like on a sando is shredduce. It just makes a sandwich taste better. Not sure why. Ghost got it right. It wasn't busy shortly after opening on a Sunday, which was nice. I really enjoyed both the sandwich and the visit. We'll definitely be back. 5 stars.

I ordered "the melrose" which seemed to be their flagship sub. It was at the top of the menu--seemed to be basically a turkey bacon ham club type of deal with a kick. Despite there being probably at least 15 ingredients, all I could taste was mayonnaise. The entire texture? Mayo. Blech. I didn't eat the second half. Solidly OK if you like mayonnaise. Who knows. Maybe "the melrose" just ain't the thing to get here. Not so sure I'll be back though.

Guess what they wanted as soon as they touched down? You got it! Sorrento's Italian Market here in Culver City! Now supposedly over the weekend they're going to make up for their surprise and lack of common courtesy by taking me to some nice restaurant apparently! I'll believe it when I see it. Settled on some hard salami and the sheer smell that emanates from the market. You've heard of or better yet even witnessed the smell that emanates from Pirates of the Caribbean? Well, Sorrento's market has its own unforgettable smell, and it usually winds up in a net gain of about 5 to 10 lb for your waistline. So other than some hard salami, I was sure to get the you know what out of here quickly! But do come by folks! Come from near and come from afar. My family just came from New Orleans (which happens to be the 1st city-yeah even before New York...that saw Sicilians specifically bring their great cuisine to this land) and the first thing they wanted was some hard salami from Sorrento's 2,000 miles away! Lol The spirit of Sorrento's market lives on through current owner Albert Vera Jr, who continues to do his father, mother, and the city of Culver City proud. It's not Culver City if there's not a Vera somewhere, somehow.

Jackson market as a whole in terms of ambiance, variety, taste definitely overtakes bay cities but if you're just talking about comparing food quality sand which to sand which it will be a tough TIE (it's not less) than bay cities. Bay cities is loaded and so is Jackson but bay cities is a little more juicier where the inside sandwich ingredients shine more and you can definitely taste each of the ingredients eg banana peppers meats deli cheese etc. Jackson market's Italian sub had harder bread but I could see like some would argue it's more balanced. It definitely is a little less juicy and even though there were complimentary banana peppers I hardly tasted it at all as it was sprinkled far and few. If you paid for an added topping eg. Jalepenos they were definitely generous with it. Tip: DO NOT get the French baguette toasted as it'll be too hard. The market is fun because it also offers wine selections ($20-$60), not a fun cheese selection like bay cities, pasta salad, bomb tiramisu, has an entire PIZZA OVEN in the back, fun canned drinks including GUAYABA (an aloe tasting like drink), pastries, and chips/snacks. Ambiance - the patio in the back is spacious and big. They don't allow you to bring a computer to work there and the WiFi and service is pretty bad there. Parking - street parking along residential homes 2 subs ($14.99/each), 2 drinks, 1 large chip ($4.95) came out to be around $44. Overall an amazing find. The 10/10 would come back & especially try the pizza. Revolutionary in food taste ? Probably not but revolutionary in enjoyability and spot find? 1000%. Happy munching !

It's tucked away in a residential neighborhood and parking can get a little tight. When I walked in, it was a little confusing because I did not see any clear directions on how to place my order. I asked another customer who appeared to have been there before and he guided me to this counter with paper that had menu items on it. You have to checkmark the ingredients you want on your sandwich or whatever you're ordering. I wanted an Italian sub, I wasn't sure if I should check off ingredients for an Italian sub, or if just checking Italian sub and the type of bread I wanted would get me a sub with the standard ingredients for an Italian sub. The sub was definitely not what I expected, it was dry and flavorless. I wanted extra onions, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, and extra mayonnaise. None of those ingredients were present, and there was no clear way for me to make the request because it's nearly impossible to interact with the people preparing the food. When it was all said and done, I would definitely not order an Italian sub from here again. Definitely organized chaos! Or, just unorganized depending on how you look at it. It all just appeared to be a little chaotic. I also grabbed some tuna and watermelon, which was a refrigerated section in plastic containers. I ordered the tuna because it listed onions and celery as two of the main ingredients I look for in tuna. The tuna was dry and flavorless. I will need to add more celery, onions, mayonnaise, salt and pepper with a few other ingredients, which means I could have made it myself. I also ordered watermelon, which was not sweet, it tasted like it was cut too close to the rind. I'm still not sure how I feel about Jackson Market. Based on some of the responses from the owners, I don't think I would return. I don't understand why we can't come to a platform like Yelp and give our honest opinion without the owners responding so harshly, instead of taking the criticism and using it to their advantage, or not. As far as Italian Subs go, may I suggest Ghost Sando or Philly's Best? Even Jersey Mike's is better. IMHO! This review was typed on a mobile device, please forgive any typos.
