The casino is a decent size and "medium" size compared to the other locations I have been to. They were giving away gifts, but I had to stay at 12pm. The casino itself has an old feel to it, like if you went to the location in Durant. I ended up playing here for an hour , but I did ended up losing $500 here as I put most of my money in the money bags machines with the dragons on there. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, made noise every time you moved, and the bedding was stained. We slept fully clothed in long pants and shirts to limit our exposure to the bedding. I seriously would have rather slept in my car but my husband did not think the area was very safe enough to do that and we got in very late, not knowing where else we could stay. We were running late for a funeral when we left so we had no time to argue about a refund.

Everything in the kitchen was soaked and there was a huge puddle of water in the walkway to kitchen. My kids both slipped and fell on the concrete because of it. I called and messaged several times with no response but the one time I did they said they contacted maintenance, which actually didn't happen. They sent someone at 6pm the night before we left. We had to deal with this, the ice maker not working, and a shower that wouldn't drain throughout our vacation and after them mentioning a discount, they ghosted us. I've reached out several times several ways and nothing. I honestly couldn't imagine treating a customer, or anyone this way. Thursday afternoon- arrive at cabin, discover leak from ceiling in kitchen. Suspect it's air conditioning unit because the leak was also coming from outside condensation drain. Immediately I contacted Hidden Hills office because no maintenance number was listed. She said she would contact maintenance and get back with us. Never heard back. Thursday night- I call and no answer. Immediately get a text saying maintenance was contacted and they were supposed to send HVAC over. *she also said you will definitely get a discount* but mind you, I've already paid for rental. Friday- wait around for someone to show up. So 3pm rolls around and I send a text stating nobody has shown up for the leak. At this point we also have discovered the ice maker doesn't work and the shower won't drain. No response at all. Saturday- I get a message from maintenance on Facebook because of my Facebook post about this experience and he says he never got any message about the maintenance issue. He apologized but also tried to say I didn't call the right number although there's no number for him listed anywhere expect the fridge which clearly states to only call him after hours and for emergencies. So anyway I let him know the situation and he tells me the lady went through another maintenance guy and he would follow up. Never followed up. I sent pictures to both maintenance and the lady I spoke with. No response from her, but he said he talked to HVAC tech and he would be here shortly. Nobody showed up, so I called the office again. She acted surprised and said she'd contact maintenance again. She texted back saying HVAC tech is supposed to be heading over there, let her know if he doesn't show. He didn't show up. Saturday night about 6pm someone showed up to fix the AC leak, told us he hadn't been called out to this until 10am this current day. I then texted the company back and said he had been over. THEY said we would "definitely" be given a discount. I kindly accepted and asked what kind of discount and they responded with she would look at our account the next day. Sunday- nothing, but it is Sunday on a holiday weekend so I waited until the evening to text back again to follow up. No response. Monday afternoon- I emailed the same message, no response. So they ghosted us after checkout. It just really sucks. We spent what little extra money we had to make this trip happen for our family this summer. Then to have this disruption and headache throughout the whole trip is so disappointing. The lack of concern and communication was the most disappointing though. Please just don't make the mistake of trusting them, because clearly they don't care.

It was not the standard air mattress, this one was very a thick queen size mattress. The bathrooms were huge with dual showerheads in both walk in showers. We enjoyed the corn hole game outside. We saw deer and rabbits from our patio every day. The only downside is that there is some noise from the highway when you are outside, but it didn't bother us. We will definitely return to Journey's End on our next Broken Bow trip.

Lastly, I will note we did not have any interactions with the customer service most negative reviews describe because we didn't need anything while we were away. I will add that there was only one other car in the parking lot besides ours. So, we left and came back later. We got to our rooms. The mattresses on the beds were on top of a flat spring like thing that was sitting on top of a metal box that made a "Boing" sound every time you sat on the bed or moved around after getting in the bed. The next morning, we went to breakfast which consisted of a waffle maker, some bagged muffins, and a little juice. I was like throwing bred in a minnow pond as there were 30 people or more waiting for the meager sustenance. We left and went to McDonalds. When we got back to our rooms that night, non of our room keys worked. Between the two rooms we had two keys per room. I had to go to the desk and get them rekeyed. I asked the attendant why the keys didn't work. Instead just saying, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, she said, "You must have put your card next to another card." I told her it was in my back pocket all day, so it had not come in contact with other cards. Besides, why would all four cards not work. She replied with, "It's no big deal." I think as the customer, that I would be the one to decide if it was a big deal or not. So, we get in the rooms and the rooms had not been cleaned. I go back to the desk to get fresh towels. The attendant tells me to come back in 30 minutes because the towels are still drying for the laundry that day. I said, "you mean to tell me in the entire hotel there are not towels available?" She said she only had one housekeeper that day. I told her to call me when the towels were ready. I went back to my room and set a timer for 40 minutes in case I fell asleep while waiting for the towels. The timer when off, I went to use the phone to call the front desk to see if the towels were ready. The phone was unplugged. After plugging it in, there was not dial tone. I walked back up to the front to get the towels. She saw me coming and went over to the laundry and materialized with a stack of already folded towels. As she handed them to me, she said, "Be sure to bring your old towel to me." LOL - that was not happening. We will not stay here again. It is a shame.
