Great family place. I would highly recommend this for an indoor diversion. Friday and Saturday is karaoke night from 7-11pm. It will start later if the crowd is thin. This was a tough experience but they did their absolute best to make it right. I had read I needed a reservation for bowling as there's only 6 lanes. I made a reservation on a Wednesday for the following Saturday. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our time only to be told we had no reservation. This was especially concerning because I gave the girl my credit card over the phone because they require a deposit. The girl never charged my deposit or put my name on the reservations. We ended up waiting an hour for a lane. The lanes are incredibly over crowded. The group next to us was constantly blocking our lane making it hard to bowl. The pins also reset with strings and the lane had no option to throw a curve bowl. Needs serious improvement across the board. Bowl elsewhere if you have a choice. read more

While visiting from out of town for a girl's weekend we were looking for something to do after dinner and wished Hochatown had some karaoke. Low and behold I just happened to look up Gutter Chaos since they were open later than most establishments in the area I saw their Facebook post about Saturday karaoke! We were in town for a men's church event and what made Gutter Chaos special was the service we received. The lady at the bowling counter, (and unfortunately I am horrible with names), either Deanna or Breanna, was top notch! She made sure we had everything we needed and it made our experience much better. This is not your typical bowling alley / bar, but it is great for a more private time with close friends. We visit Gutter Chaos quite regularly to take one of our daughters bowling and we play pool from time to time. We really enjoy their Bloody Marys. We do not order much food here. What a super fun place! Plus... come on. The name is amazing!! The bar was well stocked, lots of beer on tap and mixed drink daily specials. Ummm, yes please! We got a handful of appetizers while we waited for our bowling lane to open. Chips and queso, fried cheese, and fried pickles. The fried pickles were by far my favorite. The have an arcade on one side with tons of games and activities. That's were the bathrooms are located too. The bowling side is small but definitely accommodating. Enough seating and had a table to put food and/ or drinks. Mind you, it's a shared space so don't get too crazy. STEER CLEAR! If I could give 0 stars, I would. First, they will bamboozle you with pricing on bowling. If you call to make a reservation (because you can't online), they will NOT tell you that it's actually $75/hr ($4 shoes included) to reserve ahead of time but you can walk in and book a lane for $35/hr ($4 shows not included). Seems like something you'd want to be transparent with your customers about so they are able to make an informed decision. When having a conversation with the manager about this, her response was "I'll let the owner know tomorrow". There is absolutely NO pricing online for bowling. Secondly, we found a bug in our salad. This is actually not that huge of a deal, it happens. HOWEVER, when informing our waiter, he apologizes and offers to bring out a new one BUT LEAVES THE SALAD SITTING IN FRONT OF US. Lastly, not only did they not offer to comp the half eaten bug ridden salad, he didn't tell his manager about it. Nor did he tell us that gratuity was added to our check for a party of 3 until my husband had to ask. When my friend asked him to remove the salad, he said sure and then handed her the electronic device to sign. When asked for the receipt, we confirmed he indeed did NOT remove the salad like he said he did. When my friend asked if gratuity was included on their check, he said no but it indeed WAS included so she inadvertently tipped him twice for an AWFUL experience. In summary, it seems like this place is just out to separate you from your wallet and nothing more. Do yourselves a favor and skip it! read more

When I questioned our server, she just threw her hands up and said meh. However when I ordered it with ice, I got olives, lemon, lime and an awesome drink. Street tacos were a 4 out of 10, salsa tasted like it was store bought. Chicken salad was a 3 out of 10, no bacon, mostly croutons and the chicken tasted like it came from a can. The hubs and I were looking for a way to escape the heat and decided to check Gutter Chaos out. Luckily they ended up having pool tables! We ordered a couple of drinks and played 5 games of pool. As much as I loved the atmosphere and activities here, my favorite part was the bartender! She first made us one of the specials, an orange crush like drink which was pretty yummy. I then asked her for something lemonade like and she made us a super refreshing drink and then told us that she makes a mean cherry lime aid. We played a couple more round of pool and then sat at the bar while we finished our spiked lemonades, when she brought me one of her Cherry Lime aides and said it was on the house! That was super sweet and unexpected and it ended up being my favorite drink of our entire trip! She even told me how to make it for myself. The only disappointment we had was the family that was organizing the karaoke did not follow a list and it became the entire family taking turns at karaoke (which is why I give 3 stars). So this past Saturday, me, my hubby, and our friends were hanging out in Broken Bow and decided to enjoy a few games of bowling at the Gutter Chaos. Our expectations were low because of where we were and the establishment was small, although it offered more than just bowling. To our surprise, we had a wonderful time! The adult beverages were delicious!! Rayna provided the best customer services. She was kind and attentive, and ensured whatever we needed from the bar was taken care of. Deanna was so helpful when we called inquiring about the establishment, and she was just as helpful and kind when we arrived. If you are ever in the area, do not skip out on this establishment. Finally tried Gutter Chaos Thursday afternoon, despite the reviews. We called ahead of time to see how busy they were. The food is good and the wait staff are great. However, their bowling system is terrible and the young lady working the lane assignments is lost. We walked in and put in our name, the young lady told us it would be a 1 1/2 hour wait. We checked out the arcade and had a late lunch, checking back with her every 45 min so she knew we did not leave. She told us when we checked in that if we left the building, they would give our lane away. Two groups checked in right after us - we saw the first party get a lane, then the second. We checked back in with her when the next lane became open - she looked stunned - she said, oh no, I gave your lane away. After 2 hours of waiting, all she had to say was - "Well, I don't know what to tell you. Do you still want to wait or not?" If you're looking for quick eats and a beer - again, the wait staff are great. If you're looking for a family outing - skip this place. Until they update their process for reservations and lane assignments - take your family outing elsewhere. read more

Kids loved it. The kids win points on their card automatically when they win a game and they can buy toys based on their points and they have good fun toys from 10pts up to 50,000 points. Most games cost 4-8 points and you can buy 40pts with 10 dollars. Super FUN. read more

10 people visiting area. Came to bowling alley at 1:50P and told the earliest time for (2) lanes would be 5:10P. Left name for reservation and returned at 4:55P. Was told that we would need to wait an additional hour, because the manager instructed staff to give away our lanes to a group who came in 15 minutes after their reservation but offered a $75 deposit to get an available lane. . The bartender here tonight was a bitter person. My husband ordered a Bloody Mary. It was so filled with ice he was done in 2 sips. The waitress was afraid to even bring the drink over and was apologizing for it before she even sat it down. We ordered pickle fries as an appetizer and they were really good, however, I believe my salad was made with chicken from a can. I can't speak on much of the menu, but if the management allows customers to be treated so lousy, I wouldn't recommend coming for anything other than bowling and arcade games. They knew we planned to leave a review on the service because we told our waitress and again got a shrug. However.... They have already left a snarky reply on my husbands review. Maybe the MANAGEMENT should read all of the reviews left and change a few things. Mostly the huge nasty attitude we dealt with tonight! This place was not an ordinary bowling alley. Actually, it was far from it. The food was excellent and better than the high priced steak house down the road. The service was great. They made us feel at home. The owners were there and were the nicest folks. The place is family friendly with a bar and an awesome venue of entertainment. We will be back.
