This yelp is way long over due!! This is by far the friendliest and tastiest crepe place in LA & OC. I have been coming here for almost 2 years and the customer service always seems to amaze me. The first time I came, I was craving crepes like I had when traveling UAE. (3 years ago) and I had tried a place in Orange County that didn't seem to quite amazing me as many Yelper's were suggesting (to each their own opinion) ... it seemed their crepes were over cooked?? Minimal fruit and toppings that you pay extra for each fruit requested and the staff weren't helpful.... then I had ChocoFruit and WOW, really generous with their portions as my experience in UAE was. I went a second time and was greeted by a friendly employee named Hany, he asked if it was my first here. I said no but my second time here. He seemed real happy about my return. He made me what I consider to be my FAVORITE MENU OPTION :) Choco Fruit Waffle with light Belgium chock, yummmm! Hany made me my order and again, they really hook you up with portion! Other places can get stingy at times or all the time. Not here! At the end of him making my dessert and me sharing how much I really enjoy the crepes and waffles here. He handed me his card and said he was happy to have served me. :) turns out he is the owner! Yelp 100 Challenge 2017 - 23/100 ChocoFruit does not have its own storefront but rather shares the same counter as The Poke Spot. Parking is really convenient since the plaza has a private lot. My bf and I really enjoyed the ChocoFruit Crepe. It's a beautifully designed crepe with whip cream, strawberries, bananas, ice cream, and tons of chocolate. The best crepe place in all of Orange County I've encountered. They have beautiful deserts, chocolate fountains, waffles, pancakes, fruits, and everything your sweet tooth craves. The vibe is super chill and laid back. They share a patio space with a hookah lounge, so seating is hard sometimes but the staff is so friendly and excellent. My favorite order is the sushi Crepe, which is bite sized banana wrapped in a crepe with a strawberry on top and delicious rich Belgian chocolate from the fountain. This place is inside the Little Arabia restaurant. The bubble waffle was good but everything else was a mess. The vibe was not welcoming here. It seems like the people from the restaurant was kinda annoyed that we sat down at one of the tables but the man working at ChocoFruit told us too. The place is also very run down and unwelcoming for dine in patrons. It also felt very cramped because of how it is run together with the mediterranean restaurant within the same building. The food itself is also 1 star quality; the ice cream is stored inappropriately and is very hard, the crepes are prepared with very little Nutella and they servers had the audacity to charge an extra $2 fee for more Nutella, after already refusing to honor the 10% off Yelp discount. They also do not offer silverware and serve their food with cheap plastic utensils.
