Maybe more geared for tourists.... Near Dundas square on Gould St off Yonge st. Ice cream and churro both good; but $8.66 (pricey), makes it a one timer.

1st day having them : Dulce de leche & Chocolate syrup

12/10 on the delicious scale. This place is a gem and I tried it yesterday and I just had to come back today! Definitely satisfies your sweet tooth. If you're close definitely come by and try these churros. I put dulce de leche & chocolate syrup. YUM!!!

This churro booth is located right in front of Ryerson University and is a minute away from Eaton Centre. A very convenient area with with food booths around. We decided to try the original churros. It took 5-10 minutes for the churros to be cooked. They are pretty big churros, maybe a foot long. The flavour was good, however, the oil that they were cooked it was too hot. The churro was over cooked on the outside and was still raw inside. I'm sure these churros would've been better on another day. It was just the batch of oil that was too hot.

Second location conveniently located near St Clair and Dufferin, small shop inside a shared space with an empanada and health food store, one might pass by and easily miss it. There is a board sign with picture of churros by the door but it is facing only one way. It was a delicious honor to be the first customer at this location! It is grand opening, so they only have 5 sauces available: chocolate, vanilla, caramel, strawberry, and lemon. I got 5 churros with chocolate and caramel, and 5 with chocolate and vanilla. I took them home to eat so they weren't warm anymore, but they are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, combined with gooey sweet sauces and crunchy sugar, it was heaven in my mouth. I can't wait to go back to try the churro ice cream sandwich and other tempting sauces like condensed milk, blackberry, and apple cinnamon.

Fresh churros!

Churro food stall located right across the street from Ryerson. They make the churros fresh and you can choose from a few toppings. Chose Nutella and tasted great eating them while hot! For more reviews and pictures of restaurants around the GTA checkout @MenuPictionary on Instagram!

First time trying this place! We Had 6 churro with chocolate and caramel toppings ($7.50). They were really good, however, way too much sugar. I'll have to try it without sugar and just add only toppings. Love that they have different flavors of toppings: strawberry, caramel, vanilla, and chocolate.

The outdoor food stall is right across from Ryerson, and they make fresh churros in batches of 3, 5, or 10. I got 3 with caramel and apple cinnamon sauces, except the apple cinnamon ran out and I got vanilla instead. The churros themselves were okay, the batter was thin but they turned out really crispy. The sauces were good though I wish they made sure they had enough of what's on their menu. I hope they consider getting utensils because it's not always convenient to get your hands all dirty while eating outside. Even when you wipe your hands down, they'll still be sticky. Anyway, decent churros downtown.

Churros on wheels! Genious! Plain old cinnamon-sugar-dusted churros for the purists are the cheapest 3/$3.25. Those who want to jazz it up a bit (chocolate or dulce de leche) will have to pony up and pay $0.50 more (3/$3.75). If you want to take it up another notch and get the flavouring inside the churro then it's $2.75 each. I'm not picky, I was perfectly happy with them squirting it over my churros. I've had many a churro in Toronto (Pancho's, Pancho Y Emiliano, Grand Electric, La Carnita) - and I must say, this has taken over as my favourite because they do not skimp out on the cinnamon-sugar and it is just the right amount of deep-fried to chewy that I look for in a churro without being oily! Keep your eyes peeled as they will have Obleas (Columbian wafers) coming soon to their product offering. I've heard it's topped with Queso ;) They're permanently set up on Saturdays and Sundays @ Old Weston Road/St. Clair but follow them on Twitter to find out where they'll be.

So the bear itself in the affogato was a solid icy chunk of milk (coz we chose the milk flavour) that just frozen. We added the affogato on top of it and while it looked aesthetic, the dessert didn't make sense at all. We were unable to break the frozen chunk or be able to mix it with the coffee and the coffee mixed with that frozen chunk submerged tasted really bad. Paying $16 for that wasn't worth it at all. The bingsu was good though. We got the mango bingsu bowl and it came loaded with mangoes and a marshmallow and an oreo cookie to make it look pretty! I don't think I'd come back to try anything else here. Was a little disappointed.

Delicious desserts, waffles ice cream, smoothies, and more. We ordered: Medium Mango Smoothie - $7.95 Simple Pleasures Waffle - $15.50 The waffle was light and fluffy and the toppings of fruit and chocolate were a great combination. I requested to be lighter on the chocolate but there was still a LOT of chocolate on our waffle. The mango smoothie was refreshing and sweet. I started going to Holy Choco when they first opened and their service was really good from some of the owner. Super attentive and caring staff. Unfortunately, it's since gone downhill since they've hired new staff and we had a number of small problems when visiting this time (dirty tables, dirty cutlery, requested if our food could be put in to go containers because they didn't want to do dishes, unfriendly, etc.) I hope they improve upon these staffing issues soon. Their seating area is good for friends and groups to loiter. Also, if you plan on bringing a laptop, they have MANY OUTLETS!!

For items: we chose strawberry, banana, halal marshmallow, waffle bites, brownie bites, and Oreo with a round of cappuccino's ($5.50 each). The interior is nicely decorated with a cute angel photo op in the back, and window bar seats and couches to choose from. Great spot for 2-4 people. The only criticism I could have was it took a while to get our order. So, it's not one of those places you can be dipping into expecting to be done in 20mins! We stayed for nearly 3 hours and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Kream Dessert - earl grey spanner

Kream Dessert

I stopped by Kream after seeing all the hype on Instagram about the famous Korean "Dubai…read morechocolate." When I saw the price was $9.90 per chocolate, I was honestly a little surprised, bc it's sold under 7 per chocolate in Korea. But they were running a promotion until the 15th -- 5 for $30 -- which made it much more reasonable. I've never had the original version sold in Korea, so I can't compare it directly, but from what I've seen and heard, it seems pretty similar to what's trending there. Korean reviews are overwhelmingly positive, and people say it tastes just like the viral version. The texture is definitely chewy, just like the name suggests, and it's very sweet. Personally, it was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that's just my preference. That being said, I gave some as gifts and they absolutely loved it. So if you enjoy rich, sweet desserts -- or you're looking for something trendy and fun to share -- this would be a great choice. The shop itself is small and cozy, but very welcoming. The staff were friendly and made the experience pleasant. Overall, even though it's not exactly my personal favorite flavor-wise, I can understand the hype. It's a fun treat to try at least once, especially if you've been curious about the viral Korean Dubai chocolate trend. I'd recommend stopping by and taking advantage of the promo while it lasts!

Kream is a really solid dessert stop. Everything looks freshly baked and beautifully presented, and…read morethe flavours live up to it. The cube cakes are rich without being overly sweet, and you can tell care went into both texture and balance. They're also filled generously with so much cream! Prices are fair for the quality, especially given how unique some of the flavors are. Great spot if you're craving something a bit more refined than your typical bakery dessert.
