I've been to this Chipotle several times, and unfortunately it seems like they're frequently out of multiple menu items. This visit was no different. What they did have available looked like it had been sitting for a while and appeared dry, which was disappointing. On top of that, most of the employees looked like they were having a rough day and seemed pretty unhappy. However, one employee completely changed the experience. Jaylen greeted us with a smile, made genuine conversation, and was incredibly friendly and personable. His positive attitude was such a breath of fresh air that I made a point to thank him personally and ask for his name because great customer service deserves to be recognized. Shout-out to Jaylen! Your kindness, energy, and outstanding customer service did not go unnoticed. You turned what could have been a disappointing visit into a much better experience, and it's employees like you who keep customers coming back. I hope management recognizes what an asset you are to the team! Consistently small portion sizes I did a mobile order for 3 burritos and had a couple issues. All 3 were missing most of the fajita veggies(barely some onion) and one was missing cheese. All the burrito portions were small, and everyone was disappointed. I went back to have one burrito remade since it was missing cheese, and they made what would be the normal size burrito. I asked if they changed their portion sizing, and they said "no". Reading other reviews, it appears they skimp on portion sizes. After the remake, it's clear they can make the normal size burrito, but choose not to. --------- Update: Clicked the link to the Chipotle customer reply here and it was a dead end. I tried contacting Chipotle for a refund and their "AI" (aka anger inducing) chat bot kept running me in circles. There's also no way to contact the store directly. Ended up calling their corp support line 1800CHIPOTLE and all they offered was a free entree. Not even a refund. I had to reject their entree offer before they gave me the refund and it was only for the affected item even tho my daughter lost her appetite after that and we threw everything else out ($71 total order). Ordered mobile drive through. Asked for extra lettuce and extra cheese, I barely got any. Asked for utensils and napkins in my bag, I got one napkin and a spoon for my bowl. The lady working the window was not friendly, I was going to ask for an extra side of sour cream but she just walked away before I could even ask. I waited for her to come back and she did not say a singular word to me when I asked her for the sour cream or when she gave it to me. I love Chipotle! Love the customer service. I was very disappointed in my encounter just now and this is my first time using Yelp for a negative review. I walked in and it wasn't busy. 1 person ahead of me. No problem waiting my turn. However, it was about 5 minutes standing there and not a single person acknowledged I was there. The 1 person was helping make a customer food. There were 5 other staff members in the back (2 near the drive through with no current cars in line). All appeared to be preparing for the evening surge to come while chatting. I will say that they were working. However, no one looked up to see if help was needed or say we would be right with you. I wasn't going to say anything until I asked for steak and there was no steak left and the person making my food had to ask for steak. I chose chicken instead. They missed out on an up charge of $2. I let them know that I never complain, I really never do, but that I was disappointed that the customer wasn't not a priority. Even just a "we will be right with you." I am dumbfounded...I came to this location on November 4th around 3:30/4PM to get myself some food after work. When I walked in I witnessed a young, brunette, female employee eating chips and guacamole in the back. Not just eating it though. Oh no... she was grabbing chips out of a large pile with her bare hands, dipping the chip into the huge tub of guacamole, eating the chip and licking her fingers, then grabbing another chip and repeating this process multiple times. And it seemed as though this was a normal occurrence because of the lack of reactions from her coworkers. Umm...? Is food safety and sanitation no longer a concern in your establishment? I went to this restaurant yesterday for the first time and I lived very close so I was kind of excited to give it a go. I haven't been there yet. I didn't read the reviews beforehand, but they are pretty spot on! I had ordered the wholesome bowl, with the Carnitas! Although the portion was great, the Carnitas was very cold and chewy. I actually ended up throwing it out. I did order a kids menu quesadilla with Barbacoa, which was OK, but halfway and through the little quesadilla, there was a hard piece of something so we spit that out. Probably one of the worst chipotles I've been to! We walked in and there were about 7 employees behind the counter, one girl standing at the register and one poor girl taking orders. I placed an online order through the app to save time today. My daughter picked it up, came home & started eating hers. I came downstairs to eat mine about 20 minutes later. When I opened my bowl, a large amount of gnats flew out. I closed the lid and was instantly disgusted. Do you like gnats in your food? I sure don't. My daughter immediately stopped eating hers. Of course. What do you do when there are bugs in your to-go order? I tried to find a number to call this location directly, but it's not on the app and the one online is for online ordering only. Yelp doesn't have a number either. I tried online chat however it's a bot and quickly stated that I was helped and closed my session before it could get me to a representative. As you can imagine, I was a bit frustrated and certainly hungry at this point, but I didn't want to pay $23 for food that could potentially get me sick due to poor cleanliness. So I drove to them, brought the untouched meal back, explained the situation and asked for a refund. The ladies there were quick to make it right and tried to give me a refund. For whatever reason, they could only refund $19. It should have been a refund in full, but at that point I was just hungry and wanted to leave, so I accepted the $19. They did handle it immediately and quickly. I am thankful for that. My thought is, who's responsible for the cleanliness of the establishment to ensure the food is stored properly and prepared without bugs to ensure there are no foodborne illnesses or food poisoning that could be caught? Didn't Chipotle already have an issue with something like this before? Sad to say I won't be back to this location for obvious reasons. Such a bummer because the location is convenient. This location serves bad food. My son got sick after he ate food here. Now months later, tried it and got sick again. We will now remember never to go back, and want to tell others that this location has no quality control and continues to serve food that makes customers ill. It's unbelievably frustrating to call and be routed overseas to the customer care department who can only take the information and inform you someone will call or email you back. When I asked if they are going to reach out to the manager to let them know, the rep put me on hold and came back to say again that the incident department will be in touch. I have tried several times to call but you can't reach the restaurant directly by phone. We wanted to tell the manager so others don't get sick. When it was my turn to order I had to wait for veggies and steak. I was told 8 minutes but it was closer to 18 minutes.
