Total chaos. Nobody working on the to go orders. The time they put on the app for pickup bears no resemblance to the time the food is actually ready. If you have a limited time for lunch go elsewhere. I'm getting so irate at these giant corporations taking as many orders through their apps as possible while having insufficient bandwidth to actually fulfill them. Nobody should have to wait 30 minutes past pickup time for substandard Mexican fast food. Update July 6: first time back since the above review. I walked in and the place was empty no one online and the kid behind the counter yells at me, and I do mean yells at me that "they're not taking orders now just online orders." Doordash order for Chipotle on Jerusalem blvd in Syosset. My specific requests for the bowl order were disregarded. What was delivered was a 1/2 a bowl with few pieces of meat thrown in. Complained to DD, got a replacement bowl; unfortunately it was more of the same. When ordering in person, the portions are better. It's harder to cheat customers when they are right there looking at the food being prepared. Over 20 for a bowl, I should have just starved. I normally don't do doordash, now I will never order Chipotle ever again. Shame shame shame. read more

Unless you're at a Chipotle near closing the food is never an issue. It's all the other stuff, which you'd think they would have figured out by now. Cases in point - tonight they ran out of chicken. Albeit briefly. But how do you run out of one of your main ingredients. The biggest frustration with Chipotle is the inconsistency - whether it's quantities of ingredients or (my personal pet peeve) an inability to actually roll a burrito. Half the time you get a round loaf looking things, or it simply unwraps itself. Tonight was both, with the added bonus that the couldn't figure out how to wrap the tin foil either. Even with Covid induced reduced indoor dining the place was a mess. Unless it's the only thing open (which when late it often is) avoid this Chipotle and all others. [edit] not to pile on too much, but two more things. It can't be that hard to trim fat from the meat when chopping it - a little fat is great for keeping meat moist, but I've had an issue at various locations (including this one) where I get a mouthful of pork fat. And last... masks. I don't care what anyones position is on them, but if your restaurant policy is to request patrons wear them (as is the case here) make sure a) your own staff wears them correctly (cover your nose!!) and b) the manager doesn't walk in and out of the kitchen maskless. Ok so review update! After contacting corporate our last 3 meals there were quite good. Rice properly cooked, nice portions the beef was tender and fajitas done just right with color, snap to the bite and seasoned well. Also the workers better organized and working well! I don't eat at Chipotle very often and if I do, it would be at the Syosset location. My husband and I went yesterday evening to get take out. Upon arrival, I noticed that there was only 1 female staff member taking care of the orders and she looked clearly overwhelmed. The line was very long and she didn't have any help. There were 2 other male staff members, but one was chopping the food and the other was taking care of to-go orders and the register. NO ONE LOOKED HAPPY! All the tables were filthy, as well as where where the female server was serving the food (the food was all over the place). Looking into the back room looked like the messiest kitchen I've ever seen! I thought this place had higher standards. If this place had a surprise visit from Corporate Office, it would fail miserably! The last few times I have been there it's been a train reck. The food is good but it is not worth getting it because the last few times I went there it was around 7:30 and they got lazy and decided to stop making food (they close at 10) so I had to settle with lettuce, sour cream, and beef. They are very unorganized there was the one lady wearing a mask doing nothing but stand there. The person doing the register was going really slow and would just randomly walk away to go get a drink from the soda dispensers (which need to be replaced because they barley work) instead of helping the line of at least 10 people. This particular location serves SMALL PORTIONS. The last 3x we've been there, it's always these skinny, little teenage girls that serves SKINNY, LITTLE portions. I kid you not. It's like they hv no strength in their wimpy arms to scoop normal portions. And I am not a typical fat American that wants massively large portions, just normal please.
