Every time I have gone here they suck at making cheese quesadillas. They forget to check it so it gets too crispy and hot. They never add enough cheese or spread it out evenly & they never cut my quesadilla, i always have to do it myself or specifically ask for them to do it. read more

I didn't have a great experience. I ended up getting a little sick after eating there. Within a couple hours it was not good times. I had a steak burrito and there was a bunch of fat in the meat. Came in for dinner with my little family, since i have never experienced this place before. Really it was meeehh.... not a lot to say about it. Be very careful opening the door when coming in and out of the restaurant, very narrow entry way and can easily bump into someone. It smelled really good inside ( reminded me of carne adobada), the place was fairly busy, and clean. I ordered the steak salad and was surprised how small of a portion of greens i got compared to the meat, black beans, and huge heap of dressing. I paired it with the spiciest salsa they had their and it tasted good. nice heat to it but, not overwhelming. I did not finish the entire salad, i simply got fed up with it and its meehh taste. First of all, I am not trying to complain and I am a little biased IN FAVOR of Chipotle. It's my favorite restaurant, so... and I am comparing this restaurant to Chipotle's that I have eaten at in Michigan, Arizona, and other Chipotle's in Washington, and this one is lacking. I was so happy to hear that one was coming to north Spokane, but thinking we will just drive up to the Chipotle near Gonzaga in the future. The first time we ate here, the rice was very undercooked, and the portions smaller than any other chipotle I had ever seen. When we called to complain about the undercooked rice, they gave us two free entrees (what we had ordered). Tonight when we picked them up, along with two additional entrees, once again the portions were tiny. When I would ask for more, they would give about a 1/4 more of a scoop. They were out of lettuce and sour cream, and they just kept saying they needed to talk to the manager who was nowhere to be found. The employees were inexperienced and didn't know how to use the rewards app, but they were friendly. Overall, definitely try Chipotle, but not the one right next to the Ramen House. The quality of food is good for the freshness of the vegetables and most of the meats. I chose a bowl with beans, rice, and shredded beef topped with some salsa and lettuce. Some of the beef in my serving was clumpy and I had piece of gristly fat. and that detracted from the meal experience so that disappointed me. They have chips and salsa but not nachos. There are several variations as you can choose from several meat types or vegetarian. The bowl portions are filling and just the correct amount from being over stuffed. Would like to see iced tea as there are several soft drinks that are sugary options, The atmosphere is lacking but the food is decent and healthy. The price is fair but I would prefer Costa Vita for atmosphere and more choices. read more

I am SOO happy Spokane finally has a Chipotle! I personally love their salads, but recently tried the chicken tacos which (of course) were really good too. If you have never been, you should definitely try their chips & salsa, they have salt and lime on them and are super tasty. The portions are huge - so make sure to go hungry. The employees at the Spokane store have always been really friendly and very helpful. An added plus, they have Coke Zero in their soda fountain. I love Chipotle! read more

I LOVE Chipotle. This is the closest Chipotle to Pullman so if I am in Spokane for any reason and I'm not going out to eat at a restaurant, then I stop at Chipotle. This isn't my favorite Chipotle by any means. It is kinda dirty inside and not a lot of waiting space if there is a line. They could definitely clean it up a little bit and the guacamole has been a little brown a couple times I've been in. Overall the burritos are still delicious and it's Chipotle and I love Chipotle so I will keep coming back. read more

I will never go here again. EVER! they were so rude I couldn't believe it. it was so LOUD in there I couldn't hear myself. They added the wrong ingredient to my taco, when I said I didn't want that, the guy just stared at me like "eat it anyway" then he slammed the tinfoil together and slammed it down in the trash. As he refilled my new order only one out of the three tacos had anything in it. I had 3 orders, one had hardly any lettuce in it at all, was missing an ingredient. Staff is good while ordering and the chips are great. Guacamole was a little brown on top but nothing horrible. Biggest thing to me was no soap in the bathroom. No wait, hear me out. I greatly enjoy Chipotle. I have been eating at Chipotle restaurants for years. I felt I needed to post a review in light of all the bad reviews they've been getting this past year. I have worked in the food services industry and understand the challenges that a restaurant group this size would face in serving farm fresh food. It is sad that there were numerous food contamination outbreaks at different locations. This said, I believe they have rectified all their issues and are still a great dining option. This was my first time going to Chipoltes. I was very excited to see what the hype was about. I had an absolutely horrible experience. The staff were unfriendly and were not doing their job (I asked something about what I wanted on my burrito and received a snarky "What do you mean?" response) and even forgot to let me pay, while the people behind me were being rung up. The place was very dirty and I could of made a better burrito than what I ate, and I am not even a good cook. I barely got any meat and rice on my burrito compared to the person behind me. One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. This location needs to upgrade its staff and clean the place up. Will not be eating here again anytime soon. read more

I personally love Chipotle. It is definitely not a traditional Mexican restaurant if you want that traditional taste this is not the place for you. I like this place because it is a more healthy Mexican option. They are very fast paced so try to keep up! It drives my boyfriend nuts because he doesn't go here often and likes to change his up and take his time to make his mind up but I'm so used to it and I know exactly what I want by now. One thing I do notice depending on the server I usually have to ask for more food (like rice and cheese) because sometimes they try to skimp, but if you are not a shy customer it doesn't matter, they will add more for you. I always do double meat because I feel that they do very little meat (probably because it is suppose to be healthier and less calories than normal Mexican) Overall I think Chipotle is great. But again.... DON'T BE SHY TO ASK FOR EXTRA, THEY WON'T BITE or charge more unless it is meat/ guacamole . Sometimes depending on the server if you don't speak up your going to have a smaller burrito or burrito bowl. read more

I was on a trip to see Phantom of the Opera with a friend. We drove all the way down from Glacier Park Montana. And we tried to experience all the things we didn't have in our town that we missed. I missed Chipotle. I'd had it on the east coast and was very excited to show my friend and to have it again. We went for lunch right before the play. The gentleman working there was very nice. I had a cheese quesadilla. I went to the restroom, and when I came out my lunch was sitting on the counter, the guy nodded and smiled then went in the back to do something in the kitchen. The woman working there (didn't get her name no name tag), just nodded to my food and walked to the other end of the counter. I didn't mind, I was hungry. I went back to my table and my friend went to the restroom as well. I dug into my lunch and the same woman came over, And dropped my friend's food on the table. THEN she looked at me, and said and I quote "Two quesadilla's.. Wow... thats a lot for one person." I stared up at her, hurt and confused. My friend had been standing with me for 5 minutes while we waited for our lunch. My friend comes back to the table and I nod at the employee and say "Oh that's (my friend's name's) lunch." Then she smirked at me, and said "oh. ha ha. Just kidding" and walked away. Then stared nastily at me and my friend while we ate. I was so insulted, that we didn't even eat half before I left. OK, I've heard of fast casual restaurants and slow food but is there also a slow casual category in the restaurant business? Because I'm thinking Chipotle fits that definition exactly. I'm sure a billion-dollar corporation has investigated and instituted every possible efficiency to move customers through their store to maximize profits. But I just don't understand what Chipotle is thinking with their one employee bottleneck approach to taking orders and beginning the assembly of burritos, bowls and tacos in one line. As the line gets longer during the lunch or dinner rush, do they really expect customers to wait almost half an hour to order their food? There must be some way to get two lines moving to halve wait times. I seem to be leaving without eating every other time I go to Chipotle. The food tastes good but not good enough to wait half an hour for it. Does Chipotle realize there are a lot of dining options within blocks in a typical city, right? I'm sure their one assembly line approach keeps employee costs down but at what price if customers leave due to excessive wait times? I'll eat elsewhere during lunch and dinner rush hour, too many good choices not to. read more
