I was feeling like spending a good amount of money on a bowl so I ordered double steak, queso, and guacamole, I got just barely over a scoop of steak, when I asked for queso he poured half of the ladle, I followed up with, "can I get a little more please?" Dude gets like a 1/4 of the ladle and dumps it on. Followed by a half scoop of guacamole that they charge an extra 3 dollars for. Not really the type to do this but after today's experience and years of near-weekly patronage at this location since opening, I felt I had a responsibility to share today's experience with Sarah Lockridge, the general manager of this location. In addition to my wife and I's meals we (recently) regularly add side quesadillas of just cheese and tortilla, not because we're cheap or looking to cheat the system, but because an employee at this location told us we could be saving a lot money not ordering kids quesadillas in meals if we just want cheese quesadillas on the side. Sarah overheard my order and came over to tell the employee at point of sale and I that I cannot order those again. In the future, I need to order full kids meals as they have never done side quesadillas at this location. I was a little taken back by her posture and tone and how aggressive she conveyed the recent change. I calmly replied back that we've always ordered this at this location as it's in the system as a purchasable item, and we've done so at other locations as well - I wasn't aware that this was an issue since an employee told me about it in the first place. I understand change happens though, so I let her know no worries I'll just go order at another location in the future if needed. I did not know that this one calm comment would break something within Sarah. She then proceeded to unleash saying she is immediately contacting all other local managers to also discontinue side quesadillas so that I can't go order those at another location. The absolute pettiness I continued paying for my order while the last side quesadillas my family would ever enjoy finished warming, as she stood in the chipotlane mobile order area LITERALLY TALK TEXTING LOUDLY everything she just told me, requesting them to discontinue allowing side quesadillas. All of this not just in front of me, but her whole staff, and a 6-10 person line behind me. Once I had paid I looked across the counter and asked her in a kind voice what her for her name. She aggressively marched over and bumped into the business cards, proclaiming her name to be Sarah Lockridge, general manager of this Chipotle. I thanked her saying I wanted to know what name to put in the Google review. As a side note, this is only my first interaction with Sarah directly. I've observed many employees come and go from this location over the past couple of years, most of them with excellent customer service and a kind demeanor. The ONLY times I have ever seen employees visibly hating their jobs was with Sarah on the floor berating them while they worked. All of this in front of patrons. I've been stunned by her behavior before from a treatment of employees perspective, but this is the first time I've seen it directed at a patron which is a bridge too far. I am not being paid to work there, I am just trying to pay for my lunch. I sincerely hope that ownership sees this. It may be time for Sarah to move on to something more fulfilling for her because she sure doesn't seem like she is enjoying this job or quite frankly, certainly does not conduct herself like she is management material. read more

Nasty place very dirty employees disrespectful tried to say my order was not here and I have the confirmation that it is this chipotle I used to work here and maybe that's why they were disrespectful but still not an excuse!!!! Confirmed that it's at this chipotle not only was it not done but it was 15 minutes that I had to wait in the drive threw because they said the did not have it but 5 minutes after they found it weird?? This whole experience was absolutely awful. Ordered 2 cheese quesadillas and 1 burrito First off the amount of cheese for a cheese quesadilla was awful barely a handful per? Then for the burrito Rice and barbacoa meat. LOADED up on rice and the TINIEST skimpiest portion of meat. When I asked is that really all of the meat you are putting on? " well it has to be 4 oz" Literally using tongs to give a tiny amount and still expect to pay 13 bucks for that??? What an absolute disgust. I am not eating there again if this is the terrible portions we are to expect now. I'm a frequent regular but when I first ordered it was terrible, idk why I keep thinking it'll change but it hasn't. So go and actually order and watch them make it. read more

What could you improve? Everything! Your service is the worst I have ever had! An elderly woman spilled her water and the staff refused to help or clean it up. My self and two other customers had to get her a new water and clean up the mess. I even asked I we could have a towel! I was told by a very rude employee that there are napkins! Why would I want to eat a tortilla with cheese and lettuce with sauce dumped on it ?? For a 10$ toco seems insane to miss out on the Meat. If the ingredients are fresh, if the beef is well seasoned and prepared properly, it's actually hard to mess up carne asada. But just before noon today, that's what we paid just shy of $30. for lunch for. Ghastly cartilage-chewy segments comprised roughly half of the bottom of stainless vessel's dried-out beef. It had good seasoning, but the ingredients were all tired; as if rewarmed from the previous day. It was our first time eating at a Chipolte, it was not busy when we arrived but became busy as we ate what we could; tucking the grisliest portions in a folded napkin; some pieces over 2" long from the effort to tooth-tenderize to swallow. A successful ad campaign for the limited time return of a favorite menu item. We feel taken advantage of and foolish to have spent so much for a disappointing chain restaurant meal. I'm surprised this location has such low ratings, I've eaten here for the last year and I've never had any issues. Food always is fresh, portion sizes are excellent and friendly staff. My daughter is always eating chipotle in California and she says she loves it. Twice I've gone into the Newport Highway location, first time I asked a question I was looked at and then ignored so I walked out. Second time I called to see if they were still open which on the website it said they were still open for another hour but the young man that answered the phone acted like it was going to be a problem but said yes they were open. This location is a "Chipotlane," which means that they have a drive-through. You can order online or via their app and pick it up in their drive-through, and I love that convenience. Put my "Chipotlane" order in at 6:00 for a 6:30 pick up. I arrived at 6:30 and was told our order wasn't ready yet and to pull out of the front of the line while it was being made. 6:45 comes around and it says my order is ready. So I pull around to get back in line and the line is now wrapped around the entire building not moving. Was someone else able to wait on their order? Ended up having to get out of line and go inside to collect my Chipotlane order at 7:00. Who knows how long it would have been if I had to stay in the line. Do not recommend the Chipotlane pickup. Unorganized. Other business will have you pull forward and take you out your food when it's ready. Not here. read more

False advertising above the counter and on full display show's selection's prices at $10.85 and $12.10 respectively for carne asada bowl, but when you add anything you get whopping extra charge per item, Good God what an eye opener!!!! Placing an order for two came out to $46.00, not including any drinks or tips. You can dine out at TECATE GRILL, the number one Mexican restaurant in Spokane, dinner drinks and fine food for a lot less than this garbage selection offered at the price I saw rung up for my order. Fortunately I was so taken back by the prices they attempted to throw at me that I turned around and left the place without paying and rightfully so. How they can justify such outrageous prices and we were the only customers in the place at 5: pm. An extra example of bad quality that when I was placing my order, the guy behind the counter had to scoop off an entire layer of BLACKENED avocado toppings to get fresh amount for the order. Quite disgusting to say the least, adding insult to injury. This place, located on Francis Ave. is not long for this town, the burger place folded and this will meet the same fate. Their chips are always stale and over salted, their ingredients are rarely fresh, the staff is rarely friendly and helpful, and they will ALWAYS find a way to mess up your order, even if you go inside and tell them how to make it, they won't fix their mistakes.
