Half an avocado in the guacamole - A person holds a cup of guacamole with a large piece of avocado inside, in a kitchen or dining area with various items on the counter.
    Al S.

Chipotle is one of my favorites but this location has gone downhill. Constantly out of ingredients. Don't order ahead because you won't know until you open your food. Even when they do have everything the order is wrong or something is missing. There's clearly nobody in charge, just a bunch of kids that don't care. Found half an avocado in the guac last time I ordered. Not mashed at all just thrown in. Don't even get a response when submitting a complaint through the app.

A bowl - A disposable container holds rice, beans, and cooked chicken pieces, placed on a laptop keyboard with a bag of chips nearby.

They need to fire and hire ADULTS cs these teen ain't cutting it the portions and it's never clean in that store

Garbage tacos - Two tacos wrapped in aluminum foil, filled with shredded cheese and creamy sauce, placed on a metallic surface with a black plastic fork.

Me and my wife went there last Saturday. We each ordered 3 tacos. We got the soft tacos. What a joke. They don't have lettuce. Well I tried the rice. The girl filled them with rice to make them look bigger. The meat was all dried out. Nothing like their commercials that makes the meat look warm and juicy. She that has them on a sheet of aluminum foil. She rolls them so tight than seals them like they are a baseball. When we went to eat you had to peel them apart ripping them and having everything go everywhere. I had asked for taco sauce and was told it was by the soda machine. All there was was a few bottles of Tabasco sauce. These were the worst tacos I've had. They all went in the garbage. Someone from Chipotle named Alex contacted me contacted me and asked me to go to their website I believe and fill out their form which I did in detail. Than I go to send it and their dropdown menu doesn't work so all the time I used typing was wasted. I told Alex and he asked me to call them. Well, I contacted customer service as Alex asked me to. What a joke. Hard to understand girl I told her all the problems with everything. Told her the store. Than after all that she asks is there anything else? I asked her if she would like my name or email. She asked why. Well I'd like to get the 2 orders replaced if possible but at a different location. She asked how I paid and I told her cash. She asked for my receipt. When I paid the girl who took the money asked if I wanted the receipt and I told her no. She informs me that we won't do anything for you. I thanked her for wasting my time and the crappy food and hung up. What a waste of time and money. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plant based chorizo, spicy yum! - A burrito bowl with lettuce, shredded cheese, ground meat, tomatoes, corn, and beans, partially eaten and served in a paper bowl.

Plant based chorizo is a great option! Mildly spicy and the full salad at $10 is a deal. Staff also efficient.

You can order 47 enchiladas, a taco tower, and a whole mariachi band -- it still shows up in like... 2 minutes flat. I blinked and my plate hit the table like ¡pa-pow! We rolled in deep -- hungry, dramatic, and skeptical -- but Casa Real doesn't miss. Food's legit tradicional, not that frozen microwave vibe. Think real-deal molé, juicy al pastor, and rice that didn't come from a box with a cartoon sombrero on it. Drinks? También fuego. Margaritas colder than your ex's soul and strong enough to make you text them anyway. They don't play. You order one, and suddenly you're fluent in Spanish and making bold life choices. Inside? Clean, bright, and cute as heck. It's giving abuela's pride meets HGTV en español. Even the bathroom smelled like lavender and redemption. Boomer-approved AND TikTok-worthy. Service? Next-level amable. They treat you like familia, but like the good kind of family -- not the one that steals your lawn chairs. Our server remembered our drinks before we sat down. I'm suspicious they've got cameras in my fridge. Prices? Bruh. You could feed a family of six for the price of two lattes and a muffin. I don't know how they do it. I'm not asking. I'm just coming back every week. Final Verdict: Casa Real is fast, friendly, and freakin' delicioso. Whether you're a boomer, a Gen Zer, or just someone who appreciates not paying $19 for sad tacos, this place is the move. Come hungry. Leave happy. Question how they got your food out before you even finished ordering. ¡Viva Casa Real!

However the dining room and to go orders appeared non stop and she served us everything with a smile. The queso dip was more bland than I expected, no Chiles or tomatoes. but had a creamy stick to the chip consistency. You can notice the chips are made to order and served piping hot. My double beef enchiladas fell apart easily and the beef did did not offer any particular flavor. The yellow rice was very fluffy and not gummy like some places. They offer a pretty good deal on margarita pitchers too. The large raspberry on the rocks runs 30$. My friends liked their entrees, chimichanga with rice and salad and also a flautas combination. The total tab for the pitcher queso and 3 entrees was 99$ and we had left overs for later.

This stretch of…read moreSchenectady offers some diverse family-owned restaurants - Pakistani, El Salvadorian, Jamaican, etc., to name a few. In this case, the cuisine offered at Los Chamos is Venezuelan. Upon entering the establishment, I noticed a music/karaoke machine in the front corner. Tables were interspersed in the main area which surrounded a bar and ordering station. A preteen sat at one of the tables, playing on her phone. A young man worked the ordering station. Early on a Saturday afternoon, noticing a fridge with beers displayed, I ordered a Modelo and looked through the menu. I ordered a Chile Colorado and empanadas con pollo to go. Two things right off the bat - 1. First taste - It was good food. It was satisfying in a way that spoke of generational recipes rather than or despite culinary training. It is soul satisfying stuff. 2. If you can finish this meal in one sitting, good on you! Generous portions and the heartiness of the meal add to the "warmth" of the experience. A couple of details - the mayonnaise-based sauce for the empanadas was something I'd never tried before - lots of garlic, cilantro, a bit of water to loosen it, maybe some vinegar for acid...I liked it. The braised black beans had a little chili heat to liven it up. I'll definitely go back. I may not be fluent in Spanish or be knowledgeable about Venezuela but I find the food to be inviting and soulful.

It is good to see, at long last, a Venezuelan restaurant in New York's Capital District. You may…read morefind yourself meandering by on the State Street sidewalk, with tumbleweed of cigarette butts and trash blowing across your unsheathed feet, and pass by Los Chamos. It is indeed worth going inside for a delicious meal. Los Chamos' menu has a good selection that includes many traditional Venezuelan dishes: pabellón, arepas, cachapas, tequeños, empanadas. There is also an extremely disconcerting section of the menu devoted to seemingly-Mexican dishes. Perhaps that is to attract customers in an area with a smaller Venezuelan population and a small population of people who are familiar with Venezuelan cuisine. I don't know. But I also don't care. I was, of course, able to sample the pabellón criollo and the tequeños. Astoundingly, tequeños can be a good indicator of quality in Venezuelan restaurants in the US, and these ones pass the test. They also have moñongos, an item from Zulia (and it shows) that is effectively a thick tequeño with ham and plantain and meat as well. Healthy? Tasty. The venue has a decent amount of seating and the staff are friendly. They also sell a small selection of Venezuelan products, such as ovomaltina and Savoy chocolates. If you live in the area and have never tried Venezuelan food, now is your opportunity to do so. It's not spicy either, for those of you with weak stomachs. Overall, I would highly recommend Los Chamos. Hopefully their business succeeds.

There are other Mexican restaurants closer to Albany with some great vegan options and I would even say they are owned by the same parent company. Typically the reason we go to La Fiesta in Clifton Park is because we are meeting someone who isn't vegan and we're finding a place we can all find something on the menu. La Fiesta boasts several vegan options on the menu, they even have vegan cheese and seitan (meat substitute). Many places will just give you a bean and vegetable option and omit the cheese and sour cream but charge you the same price and call it vegan. The service is great, the waiter was very attentive. The one thing that caught me off guard was when I asked for hot sauce, he asked me bottled or house-made? I thought, house-made sounds like something I need to try and ordered it. He could have warned us it would be $2 extra, I still would have said yes but we were surprised to see it on the bill. I enjoyed my potato and spinach enchilada dish and my wife had a good amount of guacamole and chips before her Vegan Fajita Quesadilla arrived. The quesadilla was one large tortilla folded over in half and stuffed with peppers, onions, and mushrooms and what should be vegan cheese. She only ate a quarter wedge and a few bites of rice before she was full. As we felt fine driving home but I started to experience heartburn which since being on a plant-based diet for nearly 10 years only happens when I eat something non-vegan. My wife was sick during the night and throughout the entire following day. We are convinced there was some cross contamination in the food or worse, her quesadilla was made with real dairy cheese. This isn't the first time we haven't felt well leaving La Fiesta's Clifton Park location. Maybe it wasn't a fluke and there is room for improvement in kitchen practices to prevent cross contamination, maybe we just have bad luck. We can't keep going there if we're going to get sick everytime. If you don't have food allergies or sensitivities I'm sure you'll be fine. Otherwise La Fiesta really lives up to the name. Friday evening, the restaurant was packed, there were people waiting at the door, drinks were flowing, and the music fun.
