Would give this no stars if I could. I'm not a very picky or demanding person, but when I pay for food all I ask is that it's at least what I ordered. I placed an order through the app for two burritos, pick up the food no problem get back home. Usually I check my food before bringing it back home but I assumed (wrongfully apparently) that the order would be correct since it was done in app so everything is right in front of them. Boyfriend unwraps his burrito and it's fine. The meat is barely seasoned and rice is lacking flavor but whatever, it's still what he ordered. I open mine, lettuce everywhere which I find odd because I didn't order lettuce. Then I notice my usual hot salsa has been replaced with corn and tomatoes. I was a fan of this Chipotle and ate here at least once every couple of weeks for lunch with colleagues during our break. A couple of weeks ago, we visited this location upon opening and was not told by anybody that they were only taking online orders. We stood and waited for 30+ minutes for an employee to take our order and it wasn't until another customer told us that they were taking online orders only that we realized that there would be nobody to take our order in the restaurant. We left and went next door to Penn Station, where we were served quickly. They need to put a sign on the doors stating when they are accepting online orders only so that customers (there were several of us) do not waste our time standing in a nonexistent line. Oh my goodness! This is the worst run chipotle I've ever seen! So we go to cedar point and want something good to eat after. We get there and there hug line. It's 9:30, mind you they close at 11, so we think it's all good we have a while before it closes and they should have everything. We get to the front of the line and he asks if he has permission to RUN DRY. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You guys have an hour and a half before y'all close that is the laziest thing I've ever heard. Then he goes we're out of chicken, steak, grilled vegetables, and white rice... WHITE RICE... and you're not gonna make more with this hug line behind us because you're running dry at 9:30. Also the guy in front of us ordered 6 bowls which yes that's a lot but when they told the worker he started complaining and sighing. Like come on be professional. So where do we begin, this by far has to be the most disappointing chipotle out there, and I thought the one nearby me was bad. For starters when we walk in there was a mountain of trash in the trash cans, like how hard is it for the employees to empty out the gargantuan garbage pile right at the front entrance. The most disappointing part of this whole excursion comes when we tried to order, after a long 3 hour drive we were all extremely dissatisfied with the establishments ability to provide classic Mexican cuisine. When my girlfriend goes up to order herself a burrito, as she does, the employee looks at her and says "we're all out of tortillas and guacamole" what Mexican restaurant runs out of fucking tortillas and guacamole, this restaurant literally specializes in making burritos, so to have them run out of tortillas and guacamole is just a let down, but that's ok I thought, it happens, they probably had a lot of customers. But I was mistaken, because as I turned my gaze over to the left side of the store, I saw a stack of tortillas. I was pretty annoyed at this point because we had just been lied to. So when I go up to order I ask for a burrito too, and the minimum wage burrito man looks at me with they same deadpan stare and goes "we're all out of tortillas". So I point out the stack of tortillas sitting in the corner of the store and he goes "sorry that's for online orders only". What a load of bullshit, you're telling me that an online order has priority over someone who is in the store waiting for a burrito, not only are they missing out on immediate business, but it's also extremely lazy of them. You can't walk 2 feet and grab 2 tortillas out of the stack of 30 for a customer who wants a burrito. Not to mention the fact that it was 9:40, 20 minutes away from their closing time, nobody is ordering that many burritos online. One of the stupidest company policies I've ever heard of, not to mention the absolutely gross state that the store was actually in. All in all probably the worst experience I've ever had at a chipotle, and it's up there with one of the worst fast food experiences I've ever had. Don't go to this restaurant!! Sandusky is a weird place. Very much in the shadow of a behemoth amusement park, in that shadow is a land of nooks, crannies and rocks your probably should turn over. Chipotle, know it or not, is everyone's favorite chain, and if you're in town hittin' the coasters like everyone else, skip the concessions and come to this establishment, 5 miles from the park, 1 hr total break time if you're brisk. The workers are charming and funny while also quick and concise. The ingredients were fresh despite it being a slow time of day. The dining area was clean, two times during our visit a nice lady came around to clean after patrons leave. Not only one of the best places I've eaten in Sandusky, but probably my favorite chipotle experiences. read more

Just left Chipotle in Sandusky, Ohio. I have never seen a dirtier place in my life. Trash overflowing to the floor and employees stood talking to each other about us and other customers right in front of us. We got two bowls frist they had no meat cooked waiting on that. I ask for steak and chicken and the employee is going to say we have no steak right now but this and shows me 5 little pieces of dark black dried out steak. And got mad because she wanted to get everything ready while we waited on chicken only and I said no please wait till it's done so it's all hot and she got a major attitude because I wanted my food hot. But I figured we work for our money and we don't want to eat trash that is cold or dried out. No one in this town has anything good to say about this Chipotle we all go to Norwalk, Ohio because it's better and nicer people. I wish someone would come in and clean this place up and deal with some of the rude nasty employees. read more

I'll be honest, I downloaded the yelp app and created an account just to leave this terrible review. To start, when we walked into the restaurant, the tables were completely dirty and covered with food. Then we started our order and it only got worse from there. The girl behind counter put absolutely no effort into the making of the food. Didn't even ask if I wanted queso. Then as I was continuing through the line, a worker rudely interrupted my ordering process by deciding to refill the entire tub of sour cream (which I didn't even order). Finally, I made it to the end and asked for chips; a big mistake on my part. They were stale beyond being worth consuming. I'd rather eat a bag of legos than eat this Chipotle's chips again. Worst Chipotle food and service we have ever had, even across many states. Visited Kalahari and stopped at this Chipotle location for lunch today at 1:30pm. Not crowded at all and the counter service was terrible. Ordered all our usual as we are regular Chipotle customers. Prices were higher and quantity was drastically less. We were charged for full price meal for just a bowl of rice. Typically it's a side or extra and is less than $2. Completely uneducated in customer service and Chipotle prices on varied non menu listed items. Chipotle needs to step up the training, checks and balances and make items the same across the board and varied locations. read more

I will say that the food was tasty,even though we were improperly charged and the dining room is consistently got food all over the tables, chairs, and floor. There is an associate table where management has carried on work related conversations with employees. If you have time to discuss issues with your employees, you have time to clean the tables. These conversations shouldn't be taking place in front of customers though. I am giving the extra star because when I gave feed back to corporate, they listened, appreciated and attempted to rectify. read more

I have gone to about 5 other chipotles and they will make quesadillas no issue you dont beed to order online. We normally stop here when home visiting family. There is always a line and we expect that, but today was exceptionally slow. We got in line behind about 12 people and waited in the same spot without the line moving forward for over 10 minutes. The people on the food prep line seemed less than enthusiastic about what they were doing and weren't helping at all to try to speed the line along. This was Friday 12/30 @ 2:00 pm. At that point we left and are currently eating across the road at Five Guys. Hopefully this helps and maybe next time will be a better experience but it's always nice to have five guys come through for us when hungry and craving great food. read more

I've eaten at Chipotle about 300 times or so and travel extensively for work and have eaten at them in Michigan, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, North Carolina, and about 12 different states as well as all over northern Ohio. Was excited when we got one here in town and have found this to be the worst one to eat at of all of them. We've had to wait for food numerous times and once went there about 15 min after they opened and didn't even have fajita(peppers and onions) mix made up, asked clerk about it and she said they just hadn't gotten it made yet. One would think a place like this would be ready to serve customers when opening for the day. read more
