Stopped at this Chipotle to get some lunch takeout. The parking lot is shared by a lot of shops and narrow to get in and get out. Typical Chipotle setup to order and get your food. The lunch lines were long, and it took at least 12 minutes to place my order. The staff who took the order for our group of 4 was very friendly and patient in taking out orders and no mess up. I ordered a vegetarian burrito bowl. The burrito bowl was perfect with white rice, black beans, grilled veggies, sour cream, hot salsa, corn, and lettuce. The ingredients tasted fresh and tasty. It was one good burrito bowl after my closer Chipotles experiences. Nice shop to get your food, but expect wait times. read more

If you want to feel full don't come here! This used to be a good location but now seems like they're giving out half portions. Light on everything, just a small spoonful of every item in the bowl. Ordered 3 chicken tacos for my son, kid started to make the shells and then looks at me and says "ummm we don't have chicken right now". I asked how long till it's ready and he responds "we need someone to cut it up". There were 10 kids working and one of them standing around doing nothing at the back of the kitchen. This is the worst Chipotle I've ever been to. First time I ordered a salad for pickup and I had to dig through the whole dish to find the four pieces of lettuce that made up my entire "salad". When I called to inquire about my order, I spoke to a manager who told me I was wrong because the ingredients are weighed. I tried again a few months later and ordered a bowl. They give the smallest portions I've ever received at a Chipotle by a third. Usually I'm able to split my bowls into two, but the ones they make are barely enough to constitute one meal. Probably one of the worst Chipotles. Something is always wrong here, last time they didn't put cheese in my kids quesadilla...yeah let that sink in. The last couple burritos were essentially rice and beans, maybe 1-2 peppers from the fajita veggies and a bit of chicken at the very bottom. Every time I come in it's been chaos or the place is just not clean. I understand there are staffing shortages, but maybe they should just close during certain days to give their staff a break vs. the quality and service they've been giving out. Absolutely terrible. Ordered three bowls, 2 chips, and one guacamole. Only two bowls arrived. Tried calling which only routes you to an automated call service with no option to explain that part of the order was missing. Next tried the online chat as I was instructed by the automated call. Online chat stated that they can not reorder missing food. So the only way to get my order was to drive over, which I would have done in the first place if I wanted to pick up vs delivery. After arriving at the store I was told that it was an issue with door dash because, "most of them don't speak English" (even though we ordered directly from chipotle). It was clear that the missing parts of the order were never made as there was not a second bag that was left. If they can't get a simple order system right what read more

1:30 on a thursday afternoon, said double white rice, guy gave me like no white rice, asked for more, and gave me a drop. Moved onto chicken and then after getting chicken, he then tells me they are out of cheese, lettuce, and guacamole. This was after he filled my bowl with rice and chicken. Service here is unbelievably slow and needs to work on having the right supplies for a casual thursday afternoon chipotle run. I've never been so disgusted with the service of the guy giving me my food and the way the told me they ran out of almost half of their options after I got half my bowl made. Dropped in at 6:45 pm on Monday, July 29, 2024. Apparently entirely out of black beans. I asked if any were being fixed in the back, the emotionless young woman simply said, "no". I don't know if the online prep area was also out (she didn't care to check). Chipotle being out of black beans is like winter without snow. The Holmdel/Hazlet location also had other operational trouble a couple years ago. Is there a franchisee/operator lack of oversight in central New Jersey?? By the way, I didn't stay. I love chipotle & I always will love the food but the service here was awful. After I waited in line and ordered food it took 20 mins to even check out and pay. The food was cold because of it. I really like chipotle but after this visit i think I'll stick to the Miami chipotle instead. I got a quesadilla with steak and cheese and my friend got the plain cheese quesadilla with quac and veggies. Her quesadilla was just cheese and we paid the correct amount for not all we ordered. MY quesadilla had a tiny hair on the side so i just went ahead and pulled it out. It was a LONG BLONDE HAIR imbedded in my quesadilla. I mean come on...it's not like there's a sickness going around but to not be sanitary is just gross and lackluster. I called to get a refund on the entire order so i'm hoping that will actually be the case, there has been a number of times where I ordered food and didn't receive everything. Literally the absolute worst chipotle on planet earth. Close whenever they want, constantly cancel my Uber eats orders, turn off delivery options randomly throughout the day, don't answer the phones, lock the doors an hour before closing time and slap a sign on the window. What a disaster. I ordered our food online and chose a "pick up time" - which was a completely useless activity because the pick up time you select has absolutely zero indication of when your food will be ready. The staff bring bags of food up to a table at the front of the restaurant but instead of helpfully calling out the name on the order, they drop it on the table sulking and walk away a requiring the group of 25 people waiting to each walk up and squint to make out the tiny name on the bag. When I finally got my order 40 minutes after my "pick up time" I came home to find that the cauliflower rice I paid $2 extra for was missing from my burrito bowl and the milk and fruit that came with my daughters kids meal was also nowhere to be found. I love Chipotle, but this is by far the worst location I've been to. Whenever my coworkers and I order from here via DoorDash or similar, ingredients or items are always missing or wrong. A lot of times entire meals are missing, too. Even if I place an order alone with only a few ingredients, it has never been accurate... something is ALWAYS missing. At the store about 12 pm 7/9/23 - no beverages in lemonade dispenser, the cutlery dispensers weren't filled, one napkin dispenser, out of two, was empty, the floors needed to be swept and washed, bathroom needed to be swept and toilet paper filled and garbage emptied. They only open about 11 am so why wasn't this done prior to opening or the night before? Last time I was there, there was no ice in the ice dispenser and it was only about 1:00. I mentioned it to the cashier and nothing had been done by the time I finished my meal. Don't say you're short-handed, just get it together or give up. Wouldn't hurt to wipe down the tables consistently either. read more

Placed an order through the app for pick up time of 12:10. I was running behind and ended up there at around 12:45 because I was seeing patients and got behind which was totally out of my control. I went to the take out area as the app said my food was ready, but it was nowhere to be found on the shelf. I waited 10 minutes for the guy to even come remotely near me so I could say excuse me to inquire about where the order was. I asked him about it and he completely ignored me and went back to making other orders. I was still standing there in shock that this was actually happening and then he came back again and I said the app said it was ready and it isn't here. He asked for the pick up time and pulled it up on the computer he had and said it was done and went back to work not even attempting to help me at all after I literally said it wasn't there. Then I went to the cashier who had an AirPod in and wasn't paying attention to anything either and I asked about a refund because now my break was completely over and I had to get back to work since I have a lot of patients to tend to. I let her know the app said my food was ready and it wasn't on the shelf and her response was I took to long to get there and that they probably threw it out , no apology no offer to remake it basically told me sorry too bad. Then I asked for a refund because at this point I didn't even want the food and she was not even making eye contact with me telling me I had to do it online because they don't give refunds in store. To make matters worse the app it took me at least 30 minutes to talk to an actual person and not a bot to explain what had happened to get a refund. This is terrible service chipotle should be ashamed these are the people they have representing them , especially since I have not only supported this business for years but have worked for this chain in the past myself and never would I treat a customer the way they treated me. Customer service online also was extremely unapologetic not offering any compensation or anything for a customer who so avidly supports this business. I've never experienced a bad meal at chipotle till recently at the red bank location. I ordered a chicken burrito with mild salsa, corn, rice, pinto beans, and queso and didn't really enjoy it. First time having queso, and couldn't discern if it was cheese sauce at all. Queso aside, the rice was mushy and flavorless and chicken has dry and salty. I came around opening time, so I'm wondering if it was yesterday's ingredients. My wife's beef was also dry. I'll update my review if my next experienced is better. read more

Today I went to Chipotle of Red Bank Nj, today is the last time I will ever go to that location. I was very upset after witnessing an employee treat another employee with such disrespect that the young woman's eyes welled up with tears. She continued to do her job with out speaking up probably in fear of losing her job. I actually went out of my way to wait outside the store and managed to pull her aside to make sure she was ok.
