I'm always super excited to try a new salad place because you can usually never go wrong...however... this experience definitely went wrong. Service: 4/5 They were nice, welcoming. My order was ready on time. They did get my bowl wrong which was very frustrating and disappointing. Food: 1/5 Didn't even finish my bowl. Tofu was rubbery and cold. The chicken in the cesar bowl wasn't good. Ambiance: 3/5 Fine, nothing special. Honestly this would have been rated higher if my bowl was correct an the food was good. I didn't have a good time, which in turn brought down the vibe of the place. Pros: service was good Cons: bowl was wrong, food was not good read more

When working in Manhattan I used to eat at Sweet Green once a week. It was ALWAYS the freshest ingredients and while they weren't inexpensive, the quality and portion was always great. I've been to the Shrewsbury location a few times since moving to Monmouth and it was not the same as my experience in the city. Yesterday though it was beyond bad. I ordered a Chicken Avocado Ranch bowl and the portion and quality were sub-par and in fact the avocado was rotting and should not have been served. I will not be going back to this location. read more

First time here very clean modern quick serve we ordered two bowls, one hot honey chicken over quinoa and a sesame chicken salad. I was in the area shopping at Trader Joe's nearby. In typical "me" fashion, I didn't want to lift a finger to make dinner after grocery shopping, so I decided to pick something up. I decided to check out Sweetgreen. I ended up getting the Harvest Bowl to go. The ordering process was pretty simple and seamless. The Harvest Bowl contained chicken, sweet potatoes, apples, and goat cheese, among some other goodness. I enjoyed my bowl and would return for more healthy eats. read more

Oh my goodness. The gasp I gusp when I saw that this place was up the road. I haven't been to a Sweetgreen in years due to living in the south and I just so happened to be in town with my command and I looked it up and I am a happy girl. I have miss this place so much. The Guacamole Greens is my favorite but they were out of avocados. I got the chicken ranch salad and it's so delicious!! read more

Terrible. The salad gave with giant, rock hard pieces of raw beets (they weren't even shaved or cut thinly or anything) and the whole salad was filthy/dirty like it was unwashed. I had mouthfuls of grit and sand in my mouth. I threw it away. Do not recommend this place. Crazy overpriced salads that are awful! read more

Ordered the mizo glazed salmon for $19.25 and fish taco for $19.95. I feel like it needed more portion on the mizo glazed salmon my bf did not get full from it. Salmon tasted bland not very flavorful. I got lime vinaigrette and ranch sauce I liked it. The tortilla chips in the fish taco was stale. My bf liked the cucumber on the mizo glazed salmon and this is coming from someone who does not like veggies. read more

I have consistently enjoyed the quality of the salads at this establishment; however, my experience with online orders has been disappointing. Recently, my order included only one half-full dressing. Additionally, instead of notifying me about the unavailability of spicy broccoli, I received cucumbers, which I do not prefer. To compound the issue, the bowl was not even filled to capacity despite my spending over $20. It's unfortunate, as the food and products are excellent, but the service has not met expectations. I am genuinely very upset about the portion I got I would've got food somewhere else. If I thought I was gonna get a side salad for 20 bucks. And not even get what I've ordered. I did reach out to them on Instagram though, and a manager soon responded which I very much appreciate. read more

As I was shopping at the plaza, I happened to have stumbled across this Chipotle vibe fast food eatery. I went in based on the name, knowing it will ave plenty of healthy options. I was proven correct as I saw their menu with a variety of healthy salads. On the wall, it read all their ingredients are organic and farm to table. I was most excited about their Shroomami salad which is a warm bowl. It contains roasted tofu, warm portobello mix, raw beets, cucumbers, basil, sunflower seeds, organic wild rice, shredded kale, and finished with miso sesame ginger dressing. Their warm bowl was sadly not as warm as I would have liked. While it wasn't cold, it was more at room temperature. A scoop of this and a scoop of that but they were generous with the kale. Considering the name, "Shroomam" I had expected more emphasis on the wild mushrooms. I felt they did not give much of that and I did not use much dressing so I can honestly state, the taste of the mushroom was sadly underwhelming. The place is relatively new to the plaza and the staff was very friendly. You can download an app and order on line as well. We both got food poisoning or some kind of cross-contamination ordering the salads here, very disappointing as we look forward to getting these salads a couple times a week. Not sure if the chicken wasn't cooked enough, not sure what it was, but we're both not going back after what we've been through. Such a bummer! read more

This is one of the best Sweetgreen locations I've visited. They get my order right almost every time, and the salads are delicious. However, I wish they would offer new vegan options. I usually order the Shroomami since it has the most calories for a vegan dish. I would love to see new warm bowls that are vegan and filling. read more

AS FRESH AS IT GETS. The food tasted great and healthy. Sweetgreen had a ton of different add in options to add into the salad. The salad was a bit pricey for the 3 of us we left paying about 50 dollars, but I enjoyed SWEETGREEN as the service was quick, the food was tasty and seating was provided. It was a nice stop for something healthy. read more

Stumbled upon this place one afternoon when me and hubby wanted something nutritious and delicious. This place absolutely did not disappoint. Ambiance gives off high end chipotle with way more options. You can either choose to build yourself a bowl or choose a favorite. Hubby got a hot honey bowl and I got an avocado ranch bowl. BOTH BOWLS were decent sizes and filled with lots of fresh, and delicious food! We absolutely loved everything. Staff were very friendly and attentive with helping us out and giving us suggestions. We absolutely enjoyed it and will now become a regular spot for us! read more

Food was super fresh, including the summer menu which is great. Service was first rate and we did take out. Will be back.

I placed an order for take out the first time a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed the food. So the next week, I placed another order for 2 bowls, one of which was the miso salmon bowl (same bowl as first order). The salmon was incredibly salty. When I saw the salmon, it looked dark grey so it looked a bit suspect. And of course when I started eating it, I had to spit it out because it was unbelievably too salty. In addition, the other bowl I ordered was just a custom bowl but it was missing an ingredient and it was only about half full container. So although the first order was on the mark, the second order was a complete fail. Next time I might consider going into the store to actually watch them make the bowls so that I can confirm ingredients. It was just so disappointing. read more

I pop into this Sweet Green location often as a I work in the neighborhood and I feel it is important to give credit where credit is due. Each time I go to this location, it has consistently been a positive experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and they helped me customize my order with a smile. The quality of ingredients are top-notch - healthy and satisfying. The space is kept very clean and nice with a nice ambiance to eat in, especially in the Spring and Summer with outdoor seating. I also appreciate the commitment of the manager - Anthony - who during the busy lunch rush - always has his sleeves rolled up and is working alongside his team to get the customers in and out with their orders. He leads from the front and that is something I always notice when I visit. I'll definitely be coming back to this Sweetgreen for more! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wholesome, tasty meal while in the area or shopping. read more

Sweet green has the best salad I ever had. There is so much to choose from everything is fresh. The salads are huge. Two people can share it. Everyone working there is very nice and the place is very clean. I wish they would start opening more of them in different areas. read more

While this sweetgreen has been a fixture for me since its inception, recently the cooked vegetables have been drowned in salt. The last few times I ordered, the spicy broccoli had way too much of the spice mixture and hence had so much salt that it made the whole dish inedible. Then today I tried the mushrooms instead. Same thing..they were drowned in salt. I hope the owner/manager reads things and makes adjustments because I'd really like to continue coming to sweetgreen. read more

The food is great and fresh like most Sweetgreen locations. The staff is awesome. The ambiance is perfect for eating a delicious salad. I passed this place on my way to the beach on the coast, and I remember some great art on the walls. Everything is completely empty. 5 employees running around yet not one is paying attention to the customers. Horrible horrible service. Extremely disappointed. Better care needs to be taken when vegan and vegetarian dishes are prepared. I ordered a tofu bowl but received chicken, and had to pick through my food to remove animal product. The ingredients that are advertised are the ingredients that should be served without exception. Also ordered a side of focaccia which was so stale it was too difficult to even chew. Unfortunately I can't trust the quality and service here. read more

I placed a large order though the website a day before I needed the order. I set a time for pickup and the restaurant was sent my order at that time, so when I went to pick it up, more than half of my food wasn't ready. The had to make more rice and chicken which took a good amount of time. When i placed the order I made sure to put the names of each person on their order and they didn't do that for me so I have to check each individual meal myself to see who's is who's. It is not this establishment that messed up, it is corporate's fault. Their ordering system needs to be looked into considering they do not have a phone number you could call to make sure something like this doesn't happen. read more

So I come here pretty often and I always order the chicken pesto salad and switch my greens for kale. Today I did that and she literally put a little layer on the bottom of the bowl. I thought she was just waiting until someone filled up the kale so I let her continue doing what she was doing because a good majority of the items in the salad bar were empty or low. So when she got to the salad dressing part I asked that's how much kale goes in there and she said yes, I said stop it I come in here at least once or twice a month and order the same thing and she was like I can add more I said yes please I'm paying almost $16 for a salad with no salad. So she did. Doesn't ask me if I want bread nothing. Fine but I would have been fine if I hadn't sat there waiting for a good 5 minutes before someone even addressed me and then still waited for a good 3 more minutes if not longer before I was helped. There's 5 workers in here and I was the next person in line. read more
