Felt like eating Mexican food today so decided on Chipotle. I wanted something better than my normal Taco Bell. We went around 11am on a Friday and the place was already starting to get busy The ambience is basically casual fast food. You get in line and choose burrito, tacos, or protein bowls and you get whatever fillings you want inside. Very fast and very easy ordering. Ordered 3 tacos with steak and the new cilantro lime jalapeño sauce. This sauce is really good, loved it. I drank a Poppi Orange canned soda. After I was done eating, I went back in line and ordered the same thing to go. I'm glad I came here instead of Taco Bell. read more

Oh no! What cajoled improve? CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Soooo whoever the stupid kid is working 9/30/26 @10:30 has a horrible attitude, politely walked in to order a chipotle bowl and he was upset to package my food and was mumbling under his breath then got mad when I asked for a tortilla. Walked out with my food for free for the inconvenience cuz this location is IGNORANT ASF!!!!! read more

I stopped by yesterday after the mall to get some food and was craving chipotle. I got the burrito bowl with rice, chicken, pinto beans, queso, sour cream, corn, pico, and lettuce. Super refreshing and filling! My go to each time I come to chipotle. The staff were friendly and it was clean inside. It was not super busy so I got my order done pretty quickly. The service was good and the food was tasty! read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Every table is messy with food and not one has been wiped off. Gross - Mexican Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

After seeing a movie, we stopped by for a quick bite. We should have left as soon as we saw the over stuffed trash cans with disgarded wrappings and cups on the floor. Two overwhelmed employees came from the back and did not wash their hands nor did they have gloves on. The grated cheese was clumped together and when I finally ate my salad "to-go" it was too late to complain. I asked for brown rice and they gave me white. The chicken was lukewarm and the greens were not fresh. It was a very bad experience and despite the employees really trying to keep up with the front and the back. Stay away. read more

Aloha Hawaiians, Let me tell you brother. Got some dip today. Try the guacamole at this chain Restraunt it's awesome and consistently good from store to store. This location was very busy. There were a lot of people doing takeout. However the inside of the restaurant is dirty and not a place that I would like to dine at, :(. I've tried this location about 10 months ago and still consistently low rating. Try the one at the 7th Street and Bell location. read more

Embarrassing. You need to fire whoever is doing your online orders. I just ordered online take out and this is what I got home to. I very rarely go to chipotle, let alone this location, because it is never a satisfying experience. The food is either stone cold, NEVER enough of a consistent amount meat or rice, brown guacamole, sour corn salsa, rude employees (esp this location) or a super dirty lobby (esp this location) or a combination of all of the above. But, my kids like it after practices, so I gave in tonight. Mistake, as usual. Should've went to Five Guys. Ordered a steak bowl and 3 "carne asada," if you can even call it that, tacos. There was literally 3-4 pieces of "carne asada" in each taco. There was more corn, sour cream and cheese than meat. Literally, a sour cream taco. Employees don't care, obviously management doesn't care, management is non existent, food quality sucks, the place is filthy, and you get absolutely ripped off EVERY. SINGLE. TIME, you order from the app. It's getting really old. Minimum wage went up, but the attitude, effort and care of the employees has gone down and no one still wants to do the job with pride. It's not the money, it's the people you hire. This is a typical corporate $h!thole. I wasted 1600 points on a rice and lettuce bowl with some steak that didn't even fill up half the bowl, and $14 on 3 sour cream, corn and cheese tacos with stale tortillas. Thanks for another memorable experience Chipotle! YOU NEED PROPER STANDARDIZED PORTION CONTROL. YOU KNOW, THEY MAKE DIFFERENT SIZED PORTION SPOONS FOR RESTAURANT SERVICE. EVEN IN DIFFERENT COLORS FOR THE DIFFERENT PORTION SIZES!! MIND BLOWN. After 25 years plus, you'd figure you would have this whole portion size thing figured out. Seriously. It is the ONE thing that has been consistent in the complaints about Chipotle. Amateur hour. Think about the time and trouble you would save if you did what every other successful restaurant has done in the last 100 years. People don't want a crap shoot with their online order. We should expect the same amount of ingredients every single time we order no matter the location, time of day, or what pissed off employee is behind the counter. A customers portion size shouldn't depend on the employee behind the counter. It should be consistent across the board without even having to think twice. BUY THE SPOONS! There are 5-6 years worth of 1 star reviews for this location on Yelp about the SAME things. It's time to make a change. But you know nothing will change, it never does, so I'll wait for my poorly worded automated response. UPDATE: I shouldn't have to go to your website and regurgitate what I said on yelp. This is part of the problem. We write reviews for you to read and to inform "management" about any issues or otherwise. It's not our responsibility as customers to contact you AFTER we have made you aware of a problem. If your really cared, you would contact us, not the other way around. Corporate BS. You guys can address us right from here, but you don't. Why? Because it's a BS automated response masquerading as customer service. Just another corporate "pass the buck" scheme. You have all the information and photo evidence of what happened. I'm not going to rewrite everything I wrote on here. Customers with legitimate complaints should be contacted by the actual store manager. What a joke. I'm here if the actual store manager wants to talk. read more

This location is right by my house and my favorite- not so much after today. I felt so awkward. As I was getting my bowl I was asked after every single ingredient "Is that it?" I didn't even finish adding everything I wanted because it felt so rushed and awkward. After I asked for a lime like I always do- everytime. I was told they don't have them, so I asked in general or just not today. Was told just not right now. He said only "whole" limes. I asked if I could have one and he marched to the back and threw it in my bag... also paid for chips and they were not put in my bag. I always give people grace- life is hard. But this customer service was just bluntly mean and awkward. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Small burrito and equally small chicken bowl - Mexican Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Yesterday we stopped in for lunch at the Anthem Chipotle and was disgusted by how dirty everything was. I ordered first and then my husband. The cashier stood staring into space while she waited for my husband's order to be made. The counter was so dirty I didn't dare put my purse on it with food absolutely everywhere. She should have been cleaning off the counter while she had nothing else to do. The same was at the order counter where food was everywhere. At every Chipotle I've been in the person making the food wipes off the counter almost after each customer. And customers aside, I sure wouldn't want to work with that mess in front of me. This is the 3rd time we've eaten there and the food is consistently lukewarm. The manager needs to crack the whip on the kids working there to get that place in order! read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill Attn: Emily Murray 2470 W Happy Valley Rd, Ste 1181, Phoenix, Arizona 85085 623-215-0900 If you want guaranteed bad service with a scout, and you also want your order messed up, you can visit this Chipotle store in Phoenix, Arizona. Chipotle for me is a consistent 4 or 5 star operation, as it should be. This Chipotle location is a store that I avoid at all costs. This location is not a clean looking store, trash cans are regularly backed up, food is spilled on the floor behind the counters. Cashiers are nice enough, but the food servers act like they really do not want to work here. Would give this Chipotle store negative stars if I could. Well deserved 10 negative stars for todays experience alone. Asked for corn, and was told by the server that they ran out of corn. I know that he was lying. Paid for my meal, walked over to the to-go window and asked for some corn. Guess what? The to-go window found the missing corn that we needed to enjoy our Chipotle burrito bowl meal. Excellent. Emily Murray, this is all on you. Clean up your store, train your workers, there is absolutely no excuse for horrible service and a dirty Chipotle store. Will not return here. No way, Jose. Not recommended to anyone. Steer clear. Jordan read more

This location fails to practice hygiene and food safety practices. I watched an employee grab chicken that fell onto the counter and put it in my salad bowl. Additionally, you will not be given a salad dressing upon ordering a salad. You need to ask separately for a salad dressing if you order a salad. I have visited this location for lunch multiple times this week, it has been a consistent issue. read more

I went to this one today. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service. There were only two girls working in the front and they had their act together like no other. I am very happy with the portions that were given they were not going to Cook just right. I ordered my normal burrito bowl and it was perfect. I loved how they folded the tortilla. When a man wrapped them, they weren't stuck to one another like other places that I've gone. I will definitely come back to the happy Valley chipotle. I am always satisfied with the thing. The only thing that's annoying to me is the parking lot but that's because there's construction going on where the Best Buy used to be. read more

I LOVE Chipotle, but I do not love this location. The parking is terrible due to some nearby construction, I don't fault Chipotle for that, but they don't provide an experience that makes dealing with difficult parking worth it. I generally order on the app, so no issues with anyone that works there, but portions have been small and thrown together haphazardly, the guac has had giant chunks of avocado in it and, more times than not, the salad dressing is missing. Why do I go back? When Chipotle is good, it's great, and I keep hoping to hit it on a good day. read more

My husband and I live in Anthem, which is the closest location. We typically love Chipotle, but the service here has not been excellent over the years. Every time we come, they have new employees, and we never know if it will take us forever to get our food. We have literally waited for 30 minutes to get through a line before and/ or walked out. This has happened on several occasions. Outside of the high turnover, the food is good, the ambiance is comfortable, and the center of Norterra is a great spot to hang out. It is not a bad choice if you decide to eat here, but I would see if they're busy before deciding. read more

I like chipotle but this location has been extremely disappointing. My portion of beef Barbosa was so tiny today. I thought about complaining but didn't want to be. Jerk. Then I got home and saw how small the portion was and I regret my decision that I did not say something. It was a joke. Cleanliness and proper handling of food is a 0/10 - Worker put on gloves, grabbed the tortilla and then continued to the back to grab something else touching the door, the register and even wiped the counter before coming back and proceeding to make my burrito with the same set of gloves, in which I called out. Also, In App orders are never accurate and we always have to check and re go back in so it's just not effective. This location will be one we don't return to considering all the chances we try and give it and hope for the best, it's always just a waste and so disappointing. read more

This location must be competing for the national "worst chipotle ever" award. As a Chipotle loyalist and long-time customer (4x a week for years), it's out of desperation that I share my experience over multiple visits in hopes they improve my local store. Service: if a customer comes in and orders the same burrito they've ordered since high school and the team member fails to warm the tortilla properly resulting in cracks during wrapping, probably not a good idea to tell the customer "this happened because you ordered a lot of wet ingredients". It's not me bud, it's you. Maybe try not stuffing 3 burritos in the warmer at the same time. Order Accuracy: I've never received an accurate mobile or delivery order. Today's order was close (it came in a bowl) but had the wrong meat (brisket instead of Barbacoa) and the wrong amount (I ordered double meat, got single). They threw in some fajita veggies that I didn't order, too. You've got one job, Chipotle Happy Valley and it's the same job every retailer and fast casual chain has: Make high quality food accurately with good customer service. This store consistently under delivers on the mission. I'll take my cravings across the street to Cafe Rio moving forward. read more

Big restaurant with nice interior setup but dirty. Servers were not proactive and seemed to be disinterested in serving other than the billing girl. Self service kiosk was dirty. Team members were friendly and the food was very fresh and well maintained. The cleanliness of the dining area can improve somewhat.

I've been to one a couple times and disappointed each time. While I went through the line ordering the food there were a little bit of fajita veggies left and they looked awful. I asked if there was more being made and the employee told me no and dished up the few left. Gross. Went down the line as there were 5 or 6 people behind the line. Looked around for somewhere to sit and all the empty tables were disgusting and not clean. The soda area was disgusting. Also, the floors were nasty. Look back at the employees working the line and they were all talking and joking together. Nobody in line to be served. These employees are lazy. read more

Ordered online so I could pick up and have lunch with my daughter at her school. I was so upset when we opened her food and the quesadilla was burnt with paper stuck to it. The paper literally burnt into the tortilla. Even after scraping it all away the taste was in the cheese. The beans were over cooked and dry as well. They should have remade the quesadilla instead of putting it in the tray like this. this location seems to be going downhill as the food quality lately seems to be sketch. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Burnt food - Mexican Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I went in Monday night 4/7/25 around 4:40pm and witnessed an absolutely appalling interaction. There were two women Infront of me and the lady at the checkout was being harassed by the employees. They messed up her order and for five whole minutes the employees and her went back-and-forth demanding that she pay for THEIR mistake. It was disgusting to witness. The girl had clearly just gotten off work and was being a complete angel to these employees who looked like so annoyed that anyone question them. After the issue was resolved-by the costumer who finally told them to toss this 'double protein' that she didn't even ask for. They then forgot her queso and when she asked for it THEY SCOFFED at her and one employee ROLLED their EYES!! I was in shock at this display because she was being so kind and well spoken. And was really trying to advocate for herself when being pressured by two heinous employees to pay EVEN when she clearly didn't ask for what they served her. She then told them to forget about the queso and walked off with tears in her eyes over how they treated her. I never in my life have ever been to a Chipotle with such disgraceful customer service and employees who are so nasty and act to arrogant. It was really off-putting, and I will never return to this location. On top of that. They burnt the tortillas of another customer in front of me and instead of fixing it, shoved it into her container before she could see them. They did the same to mine and it was just such a bad look. It was just the three of us in line and the person working the line was rushing around like a chicken with his head cut off and no other employee stepped in to help either...Which is so rude. I don't write reviews, but this was just so awful in every sense of the word and that girl did not deserve to be treated like that. Do not go here unless you wanted to be treated like the gum on their shoe and be looked at like you're the scum of the earth! Totally gross. Chipotle needs to do better. read more
