2nd - 3rd time I've been to this chipotle, every time the tables are dirty, the lemonades are out, they haven't wrapped my burrito well any time, leaving me with a mess on my hands. lol I hardly leave a low star review, let alone for a fast food place, because what would you expect. I was visiting the area and placed a DoorDash pick up order, once I walked in though I began regretting placing the order. Every trash can was piled 1 foot above the rim. The floors of the dining area were very unclean. I'm sure if the health inspector walked in, this place would have multiple violations. I usually avoid using public restrooms, but I can't imagine what theirs looked like! I made the serious mistake of having lunch there today, and it was so incredibly salty that it was practically inedible. The Carne Asada had so much fat that I couldn't even chew it and had to spit some out discreetly in my napkin so that I wouldn't choke. Several months ago I was at your Del Monte location, ordered my food with a friend and proceeded to find a table. To our disappointment, despite the majority of tables being empty, they were ALL left uncleaned and unwiped from previous customers. I went up to the young Chipotle gentleman at the main counter and let him know, expecting he or someone would come and wipe down the tables, however his response was "the napkins are over there!" - basically telling us we could clean off our own tables if they werent clean!!!!!!! While I was eating, I was chewing when I bit in to a piece of small bone. I continued to eat when I bit into a larger piece it went into back half lower tooth. When I brought it to the managers attention (Marrissa). She stated this never happens. I was hoping she would ask if i'm okay. Then she stated If i'm okay. My husband and I went to see a movie and came here for dinner after, and we were sooooo looking forward to it (we always come here) and not only was there only one person, looking like they hate their life manning the line but she proceeded to touch cash money with her gloved hands, handle the register, and then proceeded to make more food without changing gloves. I liked coming here because they usually put a generous amount of meat and a good balance of all the other ingredients but lately, they've become stingy like the others. Today, I ordered a burrito and it was bland and loaded with rice. Found the chicken towards the end of my meal. Do you know what this means? The burrito was not wrapped properly. The ingredients should be evenly distributed from top to bottom instead of rice on top and chicken on the bottom. Don't people get any training when they start work? I understand some jobs have a high turnover and wrapping a burrito may sound unimportant but it is, like, one of the main things when you sell burritos! If they're so new, have a senior employee watch them work and make sure they're doing their job right. For them it's just one burrito wrapped incorrectly out of the 100 they've done but for me it's my only burrito for the week or my first burrito in months! Make it count! The location was convenient because I had to run an errand with my wife at Del Monte Center on Labor Day. At 12:40 pm, the restaurant was moderately busy with people eating in and out of the dining area and no one was in line. As soon as we approached the counter the first server quickly asked if our order was eat-in or take-out and soon after we were asked what ingredients we wanted for our Chipotle bowl. With no one behind us it felt as if we were in a quickly moving conveyer belt and were ushered along without allowing us any time to contemplate what we actually wanted - it felt like a speed contest and no sooner did we walk-in we were abruptly asked if wanted a drink and paying at the register. The experience was not rude but we felt rushed without any consideration for the customer. Please avoid this location. It is very unsanitary and consistently out of the most common products such as Coke products. This has been the case the last three times that I have visited this location. One time they were out of bowls? How can they be out of bowls? You have 2 choices. A burrito, or a BOWL? So this visit after watching football all day and seeing Chipotle commercials airing every 10 minutes with the new promo brisker, I decided to go try my luck. Should've went to a local place. Just like the picture that you see in the reviews, the trash was overflowing onto the ground. This has to be a health code violation. Dirty pots and pans stacked into each other on the stove top. As I approached the counter the person behind it never said a world to me until i asked how they were. Grudgingly a mumbled response came back, ok. I then asked for the brisket and she spooned some of the pan scraps on the bowl and said that is all they have. I asked I they are making more as they usually have some working in the kitchen. She responded that they are not making anymore today. Granted it's only 7:30 and they close at 10:00. So I said ok just give me the barbacoa which she dipped he tongs and grabbed a small pinch and put it on top of the meager brisket. I then checked out and they charged me for extra meat because I got 2 meats. Now technically, yes, I had 2 meats on my dish but the fact that they ran out of the first one, gave me a small portion then had to add another meat to try and make up for it, which wasn't by choice and the fact that both meats combined didn't equal to a full portion. I was charged over $16 for just the bowl with two meats. The register person said he had to charge the extra amount because I got 2 meats. I said yes but it was their fault not mine and the portion wasn't even the correct amount. Instead of arguing I paid and asked for the manager. I explained the issue and he said that yes I had 2 meats and should be charged extra even though I got half the meat I was supposed to get. He only offered me a free drink which I did not want. I just wanted to pay for one meat and be on my way. He refused. I said ok and turned to walk out but had to ask for a bag even though I asked for it Togo. The napkins were completely empty and the free coke he offered was actually out. The grand kids took me here on one of many trips to the city by the bay. It also happens to be one of my favorite places for an occasional dinner. They both ordered chips with that great new cheese in a cup. White in color but I dont remember the name. It is really good. They each went for a chicken quesadilla. It looked soo good. I myself ordered a bowl. There is nothing that beats their burritos, but they are too big for me. So I got the brown colored rice as a base. Topped with three scoops of chili peppers. Next, add the chicken on top. The beef looks really, really good, but I'm on a meat free diet for now. But the chicken is good. I just wish it were moist like the beef and the carnitas look. So next I add lots of green salsa, and lots of that white shredded cheese on top. Makes gor a grand meal. read more

If I want Chips and Guacamole ten minutes before a fast food restaurant closes, I expect to get them. Most nights they never have chips at closing. Some nights they don't have ingredients at their food bar. The other night they had no veggie mix. I wanted to say "no problem - I'll wait - go make some!". The employees are friendly enough but the general laziness of management and lack of professionalism is evident. I gave her one star because the location is convenient. This place is absolutely vile. If I could give it less than one star, I would have done so. A couple of days ago, my mom and I stopped in after a bout of shopping in the mall only to be completely disgusted in the whole experience. My first hint should have been when I noticed that the place was nearly empty. ​Or that the two unoccupied young men behind the counter had to formally discuss which one would help us while we were standing right in front of them. Warning sign number two came after placing the order. We asked for a few chicken tacos, with a bag of chips and a side of guacamole, and I thought we'd be in the clear. But then I noticed a few things... the tall gentleman behind the cash register was not wearing any gloves--which is normally fine and to be expected, however--he then proceeded to touch our food to move it from the paper wrappings onto one of those silver trays, without washing his hands or even attempting to put gloves on. I was absolutely appalled​. Then, he tried to add something else to our order without confirming that it actually belonged to us... luckily we caught it in time. I figured we'd just pay, eat, and leave and be done with the nightmare experience and leave. But the story doesn't end there. For not being busy, you'd think the place would at least be clean right? WRONG. There was garbage on tables, spilled drinks and sauces everywhere and nothing we needed was out and accessible---lemons, sauces, salt, ​and pepper. Not even the utensils were in the container! They were strewn about the dirty counter...rendering them utterly useless and unsanitary at that point. After taking a bunch of napkins to wipe down a table and set of chairs to sit we started to dig in. What a mistake. The food was COLD. It did not take but 2 minutes to get from the counter to a seated position to eat, and all of a sudden, the food is cold? To me, that was impossible. The only other explanation was that the food was cold, ​to begin with. But, being that we were starving and didn't trust the young men behind the counter to fix our problem... we just ate in silence and vowed never to come back. During this time, a father and son were eating happily next to us. (They had been seated before us too.) As they began to wrap up their meal, the tall gentleman from the cash register came up to them to inform them that he had not charged them for a particular item. Being a good customer, the man said "Ok" and went up to the register, paid, and sat back down. After another few minutes had passed, and the man and his son were gathering their belongings to leave, the tall gentleman came up to them AGAIN. He asked if they had received another particular item, and AGAIN indicated that he hadn't charged them for the item. The man and his son again paid... but I was dumbfounded​. At this point the food was consumed, several customers had come in after the pair, and JUST NOW... TWICE... you remembered that you forgot to charge them? This place is an absolute mess. From the actual restaurant​​ to the less than helpful staff, this place needs a makeover and FAST. So many potential health violations and mistakes that could end up getting someone violently ill. All in all, I'd​ advise you not to waste your time or money here. Not until they fix some of these simple changes. read more
