I gave this location 3 tries. Three tries to make my order on time. After placing a to go order online it gives you a promise time. All three separate times, my order was late. I asked the staff why their online orders give inaccurate promise times and the lady turned around and ignored me. I asked why they were standing around while the to go line was very busy. Shouldn't they try and fix the bottle neck as a team? Make an order in between walk in customers? I work for another large chain restaurant and when we get a rush of online orders, our system will automatically push the promise times back to help set a good expectation. read more

This Chipotle has been awful even after the pandemic restrictions got relaxed. Always missing ingredients especially lettuce and fajita veggies without any explanation or apology, very limited drink selections, and super slow service although they are literally handling much less items than other Chipotle. Today I ordered a veggie bowl for pickup. Ordered: 1/2 rice each of white and brown, extra fajita veggie, extra corn, cheese and green salsa (no lettuce cos it was "temporary" out of stock) Received: Extra white rice, regular amount of corn, cheese and green salsa ( and guacamole of course). I uploaded a couple of pics. Just so you know I didn't have even one bite, just dug to search missing ingredients under a bunch of rice. This is just a scam. read more

We've tried to visit here several times in the past year in hopes that things will get better. But sadly they haven't. Always out of ingredients. Terrible service. I actually eat Chipotle quit a bit on my travels. This one fell very short. The employee starting the bowls didn't acknowledge me, but started a convo with the other guy that was cooking chicken behind him. He asked me which meat I wanted...all of it looked dry...even the barbacoa. He agreed that it all looked dry but said it was all they had at the time. I also got some guac. The guac didn't have a drop of salt in it. Guac without salt is terrible. I threw it away and only ate about a fourth of the bowl before throwing it out. Chipotle always my favorite place to go , because they are always good food and service . The chipotle at Evansville is not about regular chipotle tho . I was in the line long enough to see how staff treat customers who are not white. The customer in front of me is Hispanic and me was yelled at for no reason. Staff who got my order yelled to me to 'No, no veggie fajitas now.' Then again 'guacamole is extra charge!! ' I had chipotle like a thousand time definitely knew that. What a disaster. I am disgusted, to be honest. We drove an hour to this location because we love Chipotle and I don't think I have ever been so dissatisfied with a restaurant experience in my life. They did not have ground beef, steak, fajita vegetables, guacamole, or any salsa other than hot. Nobody was apologetic. Orders backed up. Chaos. I was charged $7.95 for ONE TACO. When I asked the register she said, "oh, did you want the other two that go with it?" I spent $21.65 on an absolutely terrible experience. I feel like I should have just taken my money and flushed it down the toilet. I didn't even get what I wanted and nobody even seemed to think that was a big deal. I expected better. I understand that we're all going thru tough times right now, I myself am I flight attendant and our hotel is down the street from this restaurant. I was happy to see it was opened amongst other restaurants that were delivering. I decided to give my money to support this restaurant and man what a mistake that was. Our flights are empty but I still take pride in my job and how I represent my company but the crew that was working tonight at around 9pm did nothing positive for Chipotle. The presentation was terrible, I asked for pinto beans and maybe got half a spoon of that, the sauces and corn I asked for for nearly non existent. Worst Chipotle experience. The young woman making the order was rude and didn't listen to what was asked for, so she had to remake one of the items and was rude about it. The food was also dry, cold and the rice was undercooked and hard/crunchy. All around, terrible experience. read more

While visiting Evansville for a softball tournament, we stopped in for dinner and the place was a disaster, a filthy mess! Never in my life, have I ever seen anything this bad! All tables needed cleaning. We witnessed customers cleaning their own tables. Trash bins were overflowing! The women's bathroom was disgusting! Toilet was clogged and nasty! Bathrooms looked like they haven't been cleaned and weeks. Needless to say, we walked out without ordering anything. Will never eat in place this dirty and unsanitary! No stars! read more

We've been here several times and over the last 2 years the service and the food have been anywhere near the Chipotle standards. We've been to several locations and this is the worst location by far. The customer service is poor. The food quality is poor as well. Today when we were there the trash cans were all overflowing, the fountain machines had no ice and the bathroom floor had trash as well. I would not recommend this location. I hope they consider getting new management. We saw several customers walk in and walk right back out after they saw the situation. read more

Simply put, this is the best meal you will get it for under eight dollars in the city of Evansville. By best, I mean the tastiest, most nutritious, freshest, most filling, and most flavorful. I can think of no other chain restaurant where the employees actually smile when you ask for extra, and pile it on. The only thing they charge extra for is extra meat. Considering that the meat they use is fresher and more sustainable than probably any other restaurant in the city, I think it is understandable that they will charge extra if you ask for double meat. You cannot compare chipotle with Qdoba or Moes. Qdoba and Moe's are cafeteria food. Processed, previously frozen, canned, and bland. You might as well compare Ruth Chris to McDonald's. Chipotles options are simpler, I suppose, but the quality is far, far superior. I'm a little suspicious of a couple of the negative reviews here. You will see that some of the people leaving negative reviews, like Fred, have had other reviews of this location blocked because they violated the terms of service. I think these people may be in employees of other chains or people with axes to grind for some reason. Fred mentions that he has been to chipotle numerous times in many different locations, and was upset that this chipotle was out of refried beans. He should know that no chipotle serves refried beans on their burrito bar. Here is the only legitimate criticism of this chipotle location: they can get very, very busy. Sometimes the line is out of the door. Hey, it's a popular place. They do allow you to order online and pick it up at your convenience if you want to avoid the lines. If you have never been to chipotle, try it. It is extremely unlikely that you will be disappointed. read more

Whoaaaa! I've been to a ton of chipotles around the country but this one takes the burrito!! We were greeted by the whole crew as soon as the door opened in front of us, and one man making burritos for everyone, so quick and precise- I had to get his name- jeremy!! I said "you're on fire!!" Memorizing everyone's order at the beginning and building away. Very cool to witness. Also got to meet manager Vince who was extremely pleasant (easy to understand why the rest of he crew seemed so happy to be there!) Anyways, our burritos came out amazing, no drippage or falling apart and so hot and delicious!! The store is in top notch, clean and looking brand new. Love it!!! read more

Just as expected. Quality of the food was above average. Freshly cooked. Main employee making the meals was quick and attentive. Employee working the register was friendly. Atmosphere was alright. A child screamed nonstop for the first 10 min we were there so that was annoying but they left shortly after we started eating so it wasn't really that big of a deal. They were very light on both the cheese and lettuce so be sure to ask for extra if you want more than 6 shredded pieces of lettuce and a child size portion of cheese. I would eat here again. Maybe get it to go depending on how busy they are. The dining area seems to fill up quite fast. read more

Chipotle is always a wonderful choice! No GMO ingredients, who can say no to that? You can taste the freshness in every bite! But that's not the only reason I love chipotle. The employees are phenomenal and over the top friendly! Welcoming everyone as they come in the door, asking you how your day is, smiling, and genuinely happy to serve you! This company does everything right! I've never been dissatisfied. Today's visit was just as expected, AMAZING! It was my first time ordering tacos, I always get the bowls... I think the tacos are a new favorite!!! I recommend the sofritas, even for meat eaters... You will NOT be disappointed! Delicious!
