I haven't been to a Chipotle in probably 8 years and was craving it like crazy! It did not disappointed. I got there right after they opened- approximately 10:55am. Within minutes, they were so busy. The guy who made my bowl was super quick and not personable. Food was good and what I asked for. Slightly pricey for what's technically a fast food restaurant, but so is everything else. We ordered a couple of kids meals. Sent hubby to pick them up. Meals were not ready and the whole restaurant was in a state of confusion. There was no ice in the drink machine. After waiting for the meals they were not in the usual divided trays and they had stuffed everything into tiny little cups. We certainly did not get 2 meals. It was one at most. Received 2 shells and not 4. Not sure they understood English. Do not go here if you're used to good service and proper amount of food. Sorry I left a tip. Stood in line 15 minutes with a long line behind me as well. A Saturday afternoon 1pm. Finally got to the counter and ordered a steak bowl and a steak burrito. They looked around at the grill full of chicken and said we are out of steak. It's going to be at least 15 minutes before we can make some. Would you like something else? You only have steak and chicken basically. No thanks. I came here for a steak bowl and steak burrito. WTF I felt bad for the people in line behind me. This is a management problem, period! During lunch on a Saturday afternoon you should definitely not run out of one of the only two proteins on your menu. Has never happened at the Greenwood Chipotle!! They need new managers. Don't have allergies if you go to this chipotle. I went to order in person, and I coughed. I completely covered my mouth with my elbow my elbow and I even clarified it was allergies. I have severe seasonal allergies. I felt extremely ostracized and the people working rushed my order getting it wrong and not listening to me. As far as the food goes, this Chipotle fits the mold. It's good food at a premium price. The staff were very friendly and had us in and out quickly. My biggest gripe, however, was with the bathroom situation. The men's bathroom was a single toilet and sink. It was not very clean. I can only assume the women's bathroom was in a similar state. Also, if the bathrooms are single occupancy, why are they separated by gender? Only one person can be in it at a time, so does it really matter who it is? read more

We experienced the worst customer service here on 4/8/24. There were at least 10 customers in line (4 people left) and ONE person making the food. He was very friendly and helpful, which was the only good part of the service. There was someone doing inventory (while playing on his phone), a manager scooping something out of a blender into soufflé cups for the entire 25 minutes I was in line. The guy who was ringing people up would just disappear. I had to ask someone to help me so I could pay for my food and he stood there with his drink in his hand. There were 6 employees "working" and only one actually doing any work. The Chipotle were I am from has two people making the food and one person ringing up. I complained to Chipotle customer service and received a copy/paste reply. Horrible customer service all around. read more

I just got served a miniature salad (compared to what I usually get, which has been very constant in the last 2 years +) for more than I usually pay. Seriously the serving size was about 50% of usual. I mentioned it to the attendant who pretty much ignored me. Just opened in Columbus, and VERY popular. Went there today for lunch...no parking spots, line to the door, very few open seats. Still, I was through the line with food in hand in no time, which was a welcome event. Food was good, burrito was huge. Typical Chipotle. For those who have never been, Chipotle builds burritos, tacos, or salads ingredient by ingredient per your request...kinda like Subway. Burritos are MASSIVE, a meal in themselves. You can also get chips and salsa as a side. All for under $10. They have applied for a liquor license so expect them to be serving beer soon. Ambiance/decor was kinda strange. Very minimalistic. Cement floors, large open seating area with tables, plain white food bar, exposed ceiling, and a wood soda drink island with built-in speakers that looked like something out of a college frat house. They also have outdoor seating. Overall, good food, fast service, right price. Glad to have a burrito place back in Columbus! read more

I am sorely disappointed with this Chipotle. The quality of food has certainly gone down. We went there on Saturday November 5th, 2016 about 8:48pm. They close at 10pm. I had the burrito bowl. The crew working was very young, and very immature. It showed in the quality of the food. It's a bad representation of what I had known Chipotle to be, which was a place that has fresh ingredients. The pictures they will be posted will show you just how nasty the food quality was that night. The crew was too busy horsing around, and closing things up early, rather than continuing to serve fresh food. The meat was luke warm and was caked and dried to the sides of the meat warmers. It made me sick to my stomach, and I was upset. I don't care if it's 10 minutes to closing, the food quality should be more than just mediocre. You could tell that they didn't care about the quality and maybe even their job. This particular Chipotle makes me not want to go back, and I used to go there often. Is there no manager on the shifts??? Maybe a shift manager??... and if there is, that's even worse!!! Please get it together!!! People can get sick over this lack of care! Shame on you National Rd. Visited 2 hours before they closed and the ingredient/make line looked like everything had been sitting idle for several hours or the ingredients were out completely (white rice, pico, etc). They had run out of chips and there was no ice in the machine either. Unacceptable experience for a restaurant that clearly wanted to be closed... but was scheduled to be open for several more hours. read more

Decided after a few years to give this place another try and was reminded why I never went there. Placed an online order for pick up that was supposed to be ready at 7:10 pm. They place these orders on a shelf where you pick them up with no supervision. By 7:20 I started asking where my order was and was told it was being worked on. Asked again at 7:35 and this time they said they could not fine my order and I could get in line and reorder even though I had paid online. I showed them my order off my phone and they told me it would be another 15-20 minutes because they had just ran out of the brisket and had to make more. By this time I told them to just give me my money back and that took another 10 minutes for them to figure out how. The Chipotle on 31 is a place I frequent multiple times a week. My experience of chipotle was many aeons ago one of ire and disdain. I was with my two compatriots, Stefan, dry in jest but a steady hand at the work for which has made him wealthy in coin and experience. Also John, strong and mighty, both in arm and heart; caring for all he meets. I myself was not at that time was particularly fond of chipotle, and whence my two friends decided there was where we would eat, despite mine best judgement, i resisted protesting. I decided to make do, and make the best of it. I ordered a burrito, brown rice, pinto beans, chicken, hot salsa, and extra cheese. For the next several years, this was the staple of my visit, the commonplace for my order each time I visit. But not just the food and drink, nay also the people, the staff is friendly, and I have come to know them by name; The manager, Nathan, who's family I have known for many a year and spoke highly of him and his father before him, his sisters have both been kind and are sightly. Benjamin, a merry and benevolent fellow, whom always makes me feel like I am welcome and that my business is not just beneficial in profit, as I spend many a coin there, but yet also in company, as if I am more than just a customer, even a regular, but perhaps a welcome face on a busy day. There is Chloe, who throughout my travels I have come to suspect is one of the Norse Valkyries; female harbingers of the victorious dead, whose charge it is to carry the souls of fallen warriors to the halls of Valhalla, in Asgard, to dine and drink with Odin in his great mead hall, where the brave may live forever... Nonetheless, she is kind and lovely, and always wraps the burrito tight and properly, maintaining the always steamed ingriedents inside, like the fist of Surtr, the fire giant of Ragnarok himself. Isabella, the first of whom I believe learned my order by heart, a sweet and gentle soul, who always greets me by name, she too has won my approval. Many places where I frequent in town hold a special place in my heart, but perhaps none more than Chipotle... It is a place of smiles and good hearty meals, but also I find, a place of rest and acceptance. I feel my weary heart at ease when I pass through the doors, and the smell of grilling meats soothe my anxious soul and the smiles and sights of the faces of whom I have mentioned and others have earned my loyalty. If it were to ever come that this place might be threatened with an end, or close, I would personally call forth my shields and stand that no corporate nor franchise might shut its doors, and I swear it by the old gods and the new. My advice - two words - barbacoa and carnitas. That's where the magic happens. Chicken and steak are fine, but the magic happens with the slow cooked meats. Barbacoa is a spiced slow cooked shredded beef, Carnitas is a spiced slow cooked shredded pork. I used to get burritos. Burritos are messy, so I switched to bowls. I do love the juice running down my arms and the lingering smell of the delicious meats on my hands, but I have to go back to work. Get a bowl. Load it up with as many tasty toppings as you can see, and enjoy. My usual choice is brown rice, black beans, carnitas, tomato salsa, corn salsa, sour cream, cheese, lettuce. I'm here regularly for lunch. It's always busy, but they move you through quickly enough. read more

I hope the regional managers see this. I've never had an issue with any Chipotle location until today. I ordered three bowls and a burrito. I requested they put the steak back on the grill so it's well done. It's never been an issue until today. The GM working on 10/22/21 at 5:20 refused to do so. Needless to say I didn't purchase the rest of the food and it was probably thrown away. I'm sure that's great for the bottom line. Love stopping at Chipotle in Columbus when I am there. Their food is fresh, service is quick, staff is friendly. I think they give a good proportion of food for the price, and as said, it is so fresh tasting. Don't really like that guac costs more, but it is some of the best guac I've had so I always go for the extra. The chips are a bit salty, but with the choices of salsas, they are good. I plan to continue going to this location for lunches when in town. read more

This must be the worst Chipotle ever. I travel often for work and will frequently choose this chain so that I can get a healthy vegetarian meal. This restaurant was confused and in disarray. No soap in the bathrooms. No vegetables for the salad. The serving line kept getting the orders confused between customers. The tea dispenser was empty. To top everything off, the staff was heavily pierced with stringy hair hanging in many of their faces. I will never stop at this restaurant again when I am in Columbus. read more

I normally like their Burrito Bowl, but I would agree with the review that mentioned temperature. When I got home, mine was room temperature at best. I did get mine to go, but the car was warm and I wasn't going far. I did notice that when they changed out a tray in the steam table the water wasn't steaming. It was dinner time on a Tuesday and business was light. Maybe their procedures/temperatures are geared for higher volume. I think it is a bad location, lack of a direct entrance to US 31 and a small, Byzantine parking lot. Donatos did make it there either. There may be just bad temperature Karma in the building. Donatos always burned their pizza, and when we would complain, their response was but the ovens are set at the proper temperature, "but the pizza is burned!!!" May it is time for a little "Feng Shui". read more

Looks like a new restaurant. Clean. Price is great for amount of food served. I had the burrito bowl with chicken, brown rice and pinto beans. The beans were hard and the chicken, rice and beans were cold. I advised staff of my concern and was told that the food was old because of the toppings. Also, that a log was kept. Another table of four also complained (not to staff) that food was cold. I doubt that the holding temperature of the beans, rice and chicken even reached 120 degrees. Other than being told about the sauces and temperature log no attempt was made to right the wrong. Will probably not return. read more

Typical chipotle, very popular with high school and Cummins employees at lunch. Line and wait can be long at times. My food had always been consistent and good. I can see how things could get cold. The line moves fast unless there is someone who doesn't know what they want or has a multiple person order. read more
