The absolute worst Chipotle I've ever been to. I CHALLENGE you to go here at a time where they have all ingredients in stock. They are out of fajita veggies 90% of the time and they say they are out of stock. Sounds like terrible ownership/membership by not figuring out their quantities after MONTHS of this happening or laziness by the employees not wanting to make them. There isn't a shortage because somehow the very busy Brandon locations always have veggies. Service is usually slow and lacking but it feels like ownership/managements fault because, again, I can go to other "fast food" joints around town like Chikfila, Jersey Mikes, Tijuana Flats etc and get excellent service just about every time. read more

Worst part is I know that management won't even apologize or make this right. Ordered chips and guac with my online order tonight. Got home and there was literally only 6 chips in the bag. The white rice in my bowl also wasn't seasoned. Just plain white rice. My husband's bowl also didn't have tomato salsa as ordered. read more

This particular Chipotle seems to be out of ingredients a lot. Got take out here on Monday and they had the cauliflower rice (which they were out of last time). There is an up charge of $2 and you get half as much (compared to if you ordered rice). It was good but not surSeems overpriced for the portion. My family loves Chipotle so we will go back. Their guacamole is really good. Update: Went back Monday 3/29/21 and they were out of guacamole. This particular store is right on our way home so it's unfortunate that it's run so poorly. read more

The other reviews are right, I've ordered online before and when I got there I waited for 10 minutes before an employee asked what I was waiting on, and they hadn't even started making my food yet. And when they brought it out it was wrong but I didn't realize until I got home. So don't bother ordering online, you'll end up waiting anyway and it will be wrong. But tonight there was a roach crawling around behind the glass on the customer side. Kind of a shame because the shopping plaza is so nice now with all of the renovations and new additions but this Chipotle seems to be going downhill read more

Absolutely horrible management and service. What is the point of doing a mobile order to be picked up at a specific time if you stand there for 25 minutes to watch every customer get served that was waiting in line. Manager didn't even care. How stupid is it to be doing interviews in the middle of a lunch rush that your staff can't even serve their customers properly. That should be management 101 there. I will make sure to not make the mistake of going here again. And there was about 5 people waiting for mobile orders as well that all vowed together to never return here as we all watched every customer in line get served while one person was 30 minutes behind on making everyone's mobile orders. Unreal. read more

This location just sucks period! From their customer service being terrible. They're always running out of food. Food tasting bland. One time we had the rice not have a single grain of cilantro. Online orders placed way ahead of time are never ready when picked up. It's all bad. Sucks cuz we love chipotle and it's the only one near us. We keep trying to give them chances but they keep failing. I've emailed corporate and all I get is basically a "sorry not sorry" email. read more

This place is ALWAYS FILTHY!!! Chipotle needs to visit their location here because it's just embarrassing. There's never any clean tables, trash is always full, junk all of the floors and they just don't seem to care. Makes me worried about what their kitchen and food prep is like. read more

Chipotle as a whole is a cool concept. You get good quality food, fast service, and the fast food casual type of dining experience. Not bad. The problem here though in comparison to other places is the cost of food, I feel the food is overpriced. (There I said it) Its overpriced, overrated, and during peak food rush times Chipotle is probably one of the worst choices for food because your going to spent more time in line than eating and pay a lot for it. Chipotle does also have an extremely limited menu consisting mainly of burritos, tacos, bowls, and salads. Some could argue that a simplified menu is preferred over having a large menu to choice from and generally I am of that school of thought but how hard would it be to throw some nachos on the menu? Yep, no nachos at Chipotle.... That is the big reason why I do not like it. All n All Chipotle does serve up tasty food, quick, and casually and as long as you do go during the peak hours its not bad at all. Its only when you compare to other restaurants in its space that you really get what I am talking about. Out of the big three Moe's, Chipotle, and Qdoba I would have to say that I side with Qdoba because overall I feel they have the best of everything. read more

I love Chipotle, but this location is horrible! I've given it 3 chances, but not again. The location is clearly disorganized as it is a mess. The counters are smeared with sour cream, and other food. They have trash all over the floors. The chicken is practically burnt--sits on the grill way too long. It also has a ridiculous wait time. Buffet style serving often results in quicker service times, but not here. They are sloooooooow. I think they need corporate to come in and redo this location. Do yourself a favor, and go to a different location. read more

WORSE CHIPOTLE EVERRRR!! They have the worse and unprofessional people that work here. You can never get someone to answer the phone, they never have any of the food you what because they don't order enough stock. Like how are you a restaurant but don't know how to keep enough food supply makes no sense this location should honestly be shut down for their lack of quality service and food. My orders are ALWAYS messed up or messing items. I always have to reach out to guest service which I shouldn't have to. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to package an order correctly like it's not that hard. You spend all this money on they overpriced food only for the food not to taste good or even be correct for that matter smh. read more

Another night of Chipotle, another night of no guac. Ordered 4 burritos on Uber Eats, two chicken and two veggie. None of the burritos were marked, missing ingredients on two of the burritos and of course no guac. Please update the app to reflect that. I'd hate to go to Moe's bc they are tasteless but they let me know when they are lacking. read more

I have chipotle at least once a week! I love chipotle but to be honest waiting in line for 30 mins just to have undercooked rice and beans and my food be cold by time I cash out is insane. These young kids are working there asses off and I didn't see a manager helping at all. This is a good location considering Bloomingdale is up and coming but this location is an embarrassment to the Chipotle Mexican Grill chain. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - The rice is undercooked hard and my bowl is saturated with water. - Mexican Near Me - Brandon, Florida

45mins minimum behind on all mobile orders is unacceptable. You go to chipotle for decent food that is fairly quick. If I was going to wait this long for food I would have went at sat down at a Mexican restaurant. read more

I placed my order on the app and had it set to pick up at 1:45 which gave me just enough time to eat a little before my meeting at 2. I got into the store and went to the designated pick up area and my food was not there. I waited a little. no one acknowledged that I was waiting. After a few minutes a guy stepped out from behind a wall where I assume they make the online orders and puts a bag down. Looks at me and walks away. The bag was not mine. Nor again was I addressed to say hey what's your name, let me see where your order is, nothing. I give it 8 min or so before I finally say to the guy at the register- hi I Was just wondering where my food is, I ordered online and it was supposed to be ready for pick up at 1:45 and it's now 1:53. He checks with the guy who is making the online orders (who again does not step out to say anything to me) and says he's making it now. Should be ready shortly. By this point I am extremely frustrated cause my meal was supposed to be already ready. For how long i was standing there I could have waited in line, ordered, gotten my food, paid and gotten a chance to actually eat before my meeting. But another 5 minutes goes by and I don't get my food until about 1:59. No, apologies. No acknowledgement that three other online ordered meals came out before mine (I don't know there pickup time) but they had walked in after me, and left before me. Needless to say i was disappointed. read more

Worst service I've ever experienced. My friend and I made a mobile order for 9:00pm. When we got there, the place was packed with people waiting in line and for their mobile orders. People have been waiting there for 30+ minutes. The workers were very slow and taking their sweet time. We had to cancel our mobile orders and wait in line to order our food. read more

The only downside to this Chipotle, is that they don't have enough seating. There are quite a bit of tables but now enough for how busy it gets. On the plus side, the staff is really friendly and efficient. There's always a long line, but never a long wait. The food is always good (and cheap) which is important. What can make your meal expensive are the extras (guac, juice, etc.) Chipotle offers more than one option for vegetarians like myself which is a relief to still be able to have options while eating out. And their Nantucket juices are my absolute favorite! read more

Whenever I am away from you for too long, Chipotle, skies are gray and rainy. I was excited when I learned that this location would be opening so close to home. No more trips across to Westshore/S Tampa or St Pete for my fix. Love that they don't have a fussy menu. They stick to what they do well. My pick is the full of spice and flavor barbacoa drenched in Jalapeno Mild Tobasco atop a beautiful black bean and corn salsa salad. REMEMBER TO ASK FOR THE HONEY VINAIGRETTE. It is a meal changer! See photo for a peek. I've always had great service and a good meals from this location - as well as all the Chipotle locations I've visited more times than I can count while living in FL and CA. Lucky for me, there has been one within a 2 mile radius of where I've lived in both states, which means, I'm a repeat customer time and time again! My only qualm? The new ridiculous price of a guacamole side. Rip off. Boo. read more

Dear Owner, Why does this continue? By reading the reviews it's very obvious that your restaurant located on Bloomingdale avenue in Brandon, FL is a disgrace to the franchise, customers, and yourself as the owner. This has been going on for too long and yes we all continue to come back, because as you know majority of the public that spends their "hard earned" money on food and likes a fast "healthier option" loves chipotle. However it's not because of your location, it's from previous experiences at other locations that drive your business because we would never return if we started with yours. Your manager is so disrespectful and is obviously winging it to get by. Some of your employees are embarrassed and need better training/guidance. What do you do when you go out to a restaurant and get half of the meal you ordered? Do you pay or complain? If so what happens when they don't do anything? We are spending our hard earned money to have something that we enjoy only to be completely disrespected by management thats not meeting the basic standards. We come back and it happens over and over again with the same response. Your location is the true definition of "insanity" and the fact that we keep coming back hoping for a different experience is also "insanity" . The food line is a mess, your grill is filthy, and the management-I'm not even sure why they work there as they care nothing about your business nor customers. There's something very off with this location and it's being ran like a business that you would expect to be shutdown within the next month. Please be more proactive and do better. This is not good enough. read more

Pretty understaffed to handle the amount of traffic. I ordered online and am standing alongside about 10 other people also waiting for their online order. Kind of defeats the purpose when I could have waited in line and been done quicker. I'm sure the food is awesome... whenever that comes. EDIT- I upped this to 2 stars bc food was warm and good and it was 20-25 min late compared to much longer for others apparently read more

I love chipotle. But this location is by far the worst chipotle I've ever been to. I get my usual burrito with chicken white rice queso mild corn cheese and lettuce later that night I started to throw up ALL night on the hour with food poisoning it took me out for 2 days. Was not the stomach flu because not even 45 minutes after my aunt who also had chipotle started throwing up. So we both had food poisoning. And that means they're cross contaminating foods and it's dirty. Will not be visiting this location ever again. read more

Just about every person in this location is rude! Little white short guy walking behind the counter eating chips around the foods and looking straight at the customers not even saying hi or we'll be right with you! Building my bowl was weird! I don't do rice so I asked for steak only to find it full of rice and the girl serving was like oh it's just brown rice! WHY is there rice mixed with the steak. Such a dumpster of a restaurant, wake up Chipotle and try to do better! read more

It took 30 MINUTES to get my order even started. Honestly this location is the worst. They take forever walking around doing nothing. I finally was about to check out, took me 30 minutes to get my food waiting in line and the soda machine was out as well. I went to chipotle at 9:18 tonight and all the workers were wearing headphones and they all seemed to have an attitude no one one was working together, the guy masking the food constantly was asking for help and was being ignored. This chipotle is disgusting. The whole thing including the bath room. My burrito was dragged across the counter on old beans and cheese on the counter. The workers need to go back to customer training classes. This is the second time in here and it will be my last. You can pull off the highway and go into Chipotle that will put this one in the dirt.. where it belongs. A new shopping center but this bring the whole thing down. Damn!! read more

Rude, unprofessional workers. Avoid, who knows what they do to your food in the back! They start cleaning at 9:30 although they close @ 11! They started shuffling and moving around food containers with one tattooed jerk slamming the containers on countertop. When I was surprised by that oddly timed, rude behavior, the tattooed guy commented, "yes, we clean 2 hours before closing. Have a good day buddy." Screw them, food places are more than people nowadays. read more

I love chipotle but this location is awful. They need to hire more people. You'll wait in life for a long time...

No matter how times we try to give this place another chance, there never appears to be anyone running the place. It is ALWAYS a mess in the dining room and the service is unbelievably slow. We arrived again today to find that there wasn't a single clean table to sit at. The juice machines were all empty. No ice available. The poor kids here need som direction. read more

If you're thinking of ordering ahead to save time, don't. Online orders almost always get messed up and/or are late, sometimes you'll get a coupon out of it, but not always. I really hate being negative on this app and rarely write poor reviews, but my last experience there was awful: I waited in the store for 30 minutes past the pickup time, and then the bag was missing half of the order. Not even an apology, it felt like I was burdening then by asking for the rest of the food. I'm sure this review won't make much of a difference, but I at least needed to vent somewhere. ‍ read more

This is my second time visiting this Chipotle on Bloomingdale and bellshoal. Each of the times I have visit has been terrible experiences. The wait time is over 30 minutes. Very crowded and very slow. Took an hour to get our food. They also do not clean the counters and I got corn in my burrito when I did not order corn. The corn was an example of the food that is just sitting there on the counters. Also they had gloves on but touched their hats, their aprons, etc. read more

Great chipotle! Staff is very nice and respectful, however they have shortages almost every time I come in!!!

Came into this store to order a meal on 2/21/24 and stood as the only one in line for about 3 minutes while employees talked to each other. A guy came over to start making my burrito bowl and kept stopping halfway of putting his gloves on to talk to one of his coworkers. The guy finally made my bowl. I get to the register and no one is there. A young woman came from handling trash and dragging trash cans and came straight to the register without washing her hands or putting on any gloves. I asked her politely to please at least put on gloves before touching my food to put it in the bag. She caught an attitude after I said that and threw my food in a bag and rudely slid it to me. A customer having to tell someone that works in the food industry to put on gloves or wash their hands after handing TRASH is ridiculous. Definitely never visit this restaurant because if they do something like that right in front of you it's no telling what they do when it's not visible to the customer. read more

Don't waste your time coming here! I love their food, but this location is severely lacking. I placed an order online to pickup before heading to an event. When we showed up at the designated pickup time, our food was not ready. We tried asking the employees how much extra time it would take as we were in a hurry, and were left with no help. Our food wasn't ready until 40 minutes later, making us late to our event. To add salt to the wound, our order was made incorrect, and I didn't have the time or patience to go back and correct it. Avoid this location! read more

Very dissatisfied what a cluster fu** poor customer service Ordered online the order was supposed to be ready for 7:45. At 7:50 I was told to wait in line after another 20 minutes in line I had to order again. You would think that company as large as Chipotle would have their sh*t together. Not going back for a while. It was quite impressive how poorly they were doing. My daughters quesadilla was forgotten in the warmer and was burnt. Figure it out or just shut it down !!!! read more
