I stopped in to get a burrito bowl. I carried out the food drive 5-10 min. Away picked up the bag the bowl was not sealed properly spilled out all over my new car. I had to immediately go wash my car to prevent damage. I spent $28 on a car wash, had Chipotle food all over me. For about ten dollars, I got a good tasting meal that is also relatively healthy (especially when compared to the fast food burger places). My go-to is usually the burrito bowl. I do switch it up on the proteins and today I went with a mix of carnitas and chicken. My lunch was fairly priced, it was about ten dollars. Chipotle has become a huge presence in the fast casual scene. Fast casual is in my opinion just a fancier way of calling food fast food and it kind of elevates it. I don't care what you want to call it, all in all, I got a great meal to-go and was satisfied. If you are looking for an authentic Mexican meal, Chipotle Mexican Grill is definitely not the place for you. The closest thing to authentic about Chipotle Mexican Grill is that the word "Mexican" is in the business name. But that is not necessarily a bad thing. Chipotle Mexican Grill offers the best in the fast food options. I was able to get my meal and dine in a relatively quick amount of time and walked away satisfied. So I visited family in Rhode Island and my Granddaughter wanted Chipotle every Thursday. That's when I tried the Carne Asada bowl for the first time! Now back in Florida, we've come here twice, and you guessed it, I had the Carne Asada bowl, twice! Soooo good. Steak is tender and the bowl is quite generous. The guacamole was fresh and delish! I'm hooked! We choose not to eat here but get it to go instead. There is always a long line of folks getting food, which is great for Chipotle, but makes it just too crowded and comfortable to dine there. Also, I hate the cardboard bowl! Thus minus one star. Had to wait 3 minutes for someone to check me out at the register - lady working the line didn't want to change her gloves and the other worker was MIA. This Chipotle location is very busy at most times of the day so I would say plan accordingly. I have done walk-in as well as mobile order and it is a long wait regardless of which method you choose. If you do a mobile order, I would give it an additional 10-15 minutes after the app marks your order complete to actually arrive at the restaurant as it seems they mark the orders ready before they're actually ready. As for the food....well.....it's Chipotle. It's not normally the best food I've ever had but it certainly fills my stomach up. They do appear to be giving larger portions than they did before but maybe it depends on the time of day & who is working. I usually just bust out the hot sauce and that usually makes it palatable. I've been during lunch hour once and they barely put any rice in my veggie bowl. This may also be due to overall shortages and supply chain yada yada yada. I also, don't really like that even if I order directly at the store, the food is still lukewarm. Not hot...just tepid. I honestly only use this location when I'm in a pinch and super hungry. I have been ordering mostly take out at this location for years. THe most annoying part was the parking lot because it is especially hard to get in and out of the handciap spots because traffic is always backed up. The trick is you gotta have the chance to back into a spot, so you can get out. Today was different though. I was eager to try the chicken al pastor and I was happy I was able to easily back in to a handicap spot. Good start. Sadly as I walked up to the door I noticed how gross and filthy the doors and entire outside area was. Not sure if the sidewalk part is their responsibility or the property landlords, but yuck. The doors were just caked with greasy finger prints. I always use a handiwipe to open doors but was it enough today? There were only a couple people in dining room and a few at the counter. I always go at off times because I don't like long lines. The young lady who took my order was pleasant and smiling. I ordered A chicken al pastor quesadilla to go. I noticed the counter was not kept pristine like they usually do. Even the cashier walked by and brushed some cheese onto the floor with her hand and walked away. Ick. My order was ready quickly, while ringing up I did not want to even put my purse down because the counter was not clean. I paid and used their app to get free guac. Score! I went home and enjoyed my quesadilla immensely. As good as always. I have to say though, they got to get a manager in there to clean that place up. It was their slow time and that place should have been immaculate or in the process of getting clean. We have been eating Chipotle for almost 15 years. This was our go-to location for many years. I would say 50+ dining experiences at this location alone. We no longer live in the area, but we're back visiting so decided to drop in and eat. The line was out the door, which is ok, that's USUALLY a good sign. The closer we got to the food line, the more gross the place became. The line was disgusting. Food everywhere, the beans were dried up. The guy you first approached looked like he just woke up. Absolutely horrible experience. I saw enough and we walked out. This was likely our last time dining at any Chipotle. My first time ever trying Chipolte. This is really not my normal food style, however, my daughter suggested it so off we went. I have to say I was impressed. I had the chicken bowl with rice, black beans and lettuce. They drained the juice from the black beans for me and put the pico on the side as I requested and we ordered a side of guacamole. Very friendly service. The chicken was flavorful and the lettuce was crisp. We were outside with the dog enjoying dinner and I needed just a little more of something, so I went back in to get some spicier sauce and some sour cream. The staff was friendly about giving me some and that's a 5 star rating on the customer service That said, the rice having a few crunchy pieces did not faze me, and I can be critical, because not making the guest feel like a bother and giving then what they need with a smile is a big win! "Good Food and Great Service" beats "Great Food and "Average Service" eveytime. I have really been missing the quality service piece of dinning out lately, so I will definately eat here again. So after hearing that this location hired more people my wife and I decided to chance it one last time. BIG MISTAKE. This place is just broken! Yes, they had more people working that my last visits, but we still waited in line a very long time even though they were not that busy. Upon finally ordering, we found the container for cauliflower rice basically empty unless you count the crusted remnants of the previous batch. We asked if they had more and were told once whatever they were making on the one grill came off they would make more. They said it would be at least 5-10 min. We all know at this location that means 20-30. We left even with being offered no charge for the rice if we waited. What I have realized is that this place doesn't just have a customer service, employee issue, it has a basic design flaw that could easily be fixed. A simple Alto Sham, a piece of equipment like a holding box, that holds food at appropriate temperature without cooking it, would solve the issue of always being out of items. Before opening and before peak hours they could simply get multiple pans of items cooked and stored ready to place on the line for refill. This isn't rocket science and anyone with elementary restaurant experience knows it. There is nothing more to say about this location. I have heard similar stories about others, and I would say spend your money elsewhere. There is a fine line of tolerance between what one has to go through to get food here and the final product. It simply is not worth your time, aggravation, not getting what you want because they didn't make more, your order slopped together, and an atmosphere of every customer there being ticked off. If you look at all the comments on Yelp, plus wonder about all the emails to corporate like I wrote previously, the only explanation is that they don't care. As long as people keep ordering they are good with it. The public gave this franchise a huge 2nd chance after their lettuce food poisoning issue a few years ago. This is the repayment. The slowest service on the planet. Went in with 4 people in front of me most ordering bowls, took 30 minutes. They had one person working the line with at least 6 people in the back that I could see. When I finally got to the register, someone with a screwed up online order walked up to the cashier to complain and so the cashier didn't finish checking me out and helped the online ordered instead! I finally flagged someone who was walking back and forth, not really doing anything, to get me my chips so I could get the hell out of there. The slow service is a regular thing at this location. I really hope someone from management sees this. I was there for the last time on October 30th. The line was 45 mins long, which tbh is typical for this chipotle. I refuse to order online again because the last time I ordered online my 3 steak tacos had been absolutely drenched in the hot sauce. Anyways, that situation doesn't have to do with what happened on the 30th. My main complaints are that the restaurant itself was filthy, inside and out. The bathroom had toilet paper strung across the floor. The tables were all dirty, inside and out. The floor was gross, and the drink station itself is why I will never give my business to this chipotle, ever again. There was mold growing all along the cracks of the soda fountain. It was so disgusting. I know that these machines require a lot of maintenance, being that I have worked in the food industry the majority of my career. I have been to many Chipotle Resturants across the United States, and never have I had such a horrible experience at a Resturant; TWICE! I would NOT recommend this Chipotle or use this location to represent the Chipotle Brand! If you'd like to hear more, here you go. I placed an order, through the app, for a pick up time of 6:30. This was not the "quickest" time in the app, 6:20 was. When I arrived at 6:28, I sent my son in to pick up the order, expecting it to be ready at 6:30. After standing around for 25 minutes, they still hadn't started our order. Of course there were 9 other people waiting for their order, the longest was waiting 45 minutes. I went in and saw 2 Associates on the line and 6 behind the computer...seeming to be in awe of all the orders coming in. I was tired of waiting and cancelled my order. Why promise your customer it will be ready at a specific time and it's not? Usually, my food arrives earlier than the committed time! My kids were devastated, but we had to be somewhere by 7 PM, hence why I placed an online order and couldn't wait any longer. After our commitment was through, they asked if we'd try again at this same restaurant. I told them as long as the line was not too long. We all decided to go in...there was a line of 3 people and about 18 waiting for their order (again, a customer was waiting 45 minutes). Despite my better judgment, we got in line and ordered 3 bowls. The two young Associates on the line were filling the bowls with the smallest portions I've seen (the customer in front of me began yelling at the kid because he was upset he was getting shorted). Chipotle raised their prices and we want a fair portion. Looking at the line, the restaurant was disgustingly dirty. Guac spread on the counter, trash on the floor, meat burning on the grill, and 4 Associates trying to fill the online orders. After the first Associate was done with the rice/beans/meat, he left to go get a drink. Meanwhile, the kid handling the veggies was running out of toppings and was backlogged (I blame the training/supervisors). He looked at me and said that's all the cheese! Like as a customer, I'm supposed to be okay with that? This stopped the line and the other customers behind me were delayed. Why didn't the thirsty Associate lend a hand and help out?
