As of December 2025 this Chipotle is closed for all in person business. You can only order thru the app. You cannot order through the actual drive thru and you cannot eat in the restaurant. There's a sign on the door and the doors are locked. I stood there reading the sign with 4 other guys, going "wth" This place is bad and so poorly run, they must have closed it. Like many other yelpers said, it's always dirty and always slow. They are always out of food items or they are not prepared. Grossly understaffed and inefficient. Place was a MESS! Every table was dirty. Trash was overflowing on ALL GARBAGES. No Ice. Employee was using same gloves to prepare food and do the register which is DISGUSTING. And we were there at 4 o'clock and it wasn't busy it was the perfect time to clean up before the supper rush. read more

I was super disappointed with my experience tonight. The line was out the door, all the tables in the restaurant were dirty, the napkins and fountain juices were empty. After a 1/2 hour in line I am told we're out of black beans, we're out of veggies, we are currently out of steak and there will be a wait as it just started cooking, we're out of sour cream. This location is filthy. Truly gross, sketchy, and dirty. You'll thank me when you skip it next time you're nearby. I waited in the "Chipotlane" for 15 minutes, then parked and went inside to pick up my order. It was third world in there. Garbage everywhere. No one at the register. One poor kid freaking out while trying to make food without the ingredients he needed. The whole experience was just sad and incredibly unappetizing. Of course my order was messed up too. I would give this store zero stars if I could. I was very disturbed and disgusted looking around at how filthy and unsanitary the store was. Other customers were agreeing with how gross it was. The food was all over the counters, brown rice in the white rice, food at the check out counter. The trash was overflowing with used gloves all over the floor. The women's restroom had no toilet paper. Beverage containers appeared to be dirty. Many tables had not been cleaned off. This is unacceptable for a "restaurant". I have worked in the food industry and am at a loss for words of how nasty this chipotle was, I am not even sure how it could get that way considering employees were standing around and it wasn't busy. Dirtiest story I've ever been in that serves food. They weren't even busy. None of the tables were clean and several employees were just standing there waiting to do something it was like 11 AM and the garbage were full which tells me they didn't get changed the night before and the floor was covered with food. The serving areas were covered with food And nobody was wiping anything down. I've eaten at chipotle in St. Cloud and had a totally different experience but this was not a good one in Baxter and the food was not that good like it was in St. Cloud. I don't ever use Yelp and I don't complain about restaurants because I used to be an owner of a Dairy Queen and I know how bad reviews can hurt you, but looking at the reviews for this store. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a Chipotle. My husband ordered two pork burritos, coming in at $25. The order was to be dinner for us later that night. We heated the burritos, opened them up and began eating. The pork was nonexistent in the burrito. I think I counted three thin strands in mine, about the same for my husband. The meat was flavorless, as was the rice. There was no lime in the rice, nor any chopped cilantro. There was plenty of rice in there don't get me wrong , that's about all that was in there. The beans were very bland. The incorrect salsas were put on. They were out of the corn salsa, which I don't even know how that's possible being it's summer corn season in Minnesota. I've tried contacting the restaurant and you get forwarded to some robot who claimed he was going to let the restaurant know. I'm out 25 bucks, and was unable to eat my meal. read more

This is ridiculous that you can only get the cheese quesadilla on the app. When my app didn't work, and kept crashing, which I showed the workers, I still was not able to order a cheese only quesadilla. Tell me why they needed 8+ staff working at 3 in the afternoon on a Monday, and they still could not make it right? We will be no longer coming to chipotle for this. We recently visited this location on our way through town and found it disturbing how filthy it was. After ordering, we tried to find a place to sit (the place was empty as it was during non peak times) and, not exaggerating, every single table was dirty. With it not being busy, or even if it is busy, keeping the dining room clean should be a higher priority. This just cues customers in to how filthy the areas behind the counter might be. Also, after visiting the restroom it was discovered that there was no soap. Ironically, the "employees must wash hands" sign was up. Knowing that the individuals who are are preparing your food aren't washing their hands after using the restroom is just gross. Very poorly managed location. read more

$28 for 2 steak tacos and a burrito. Food cold. We stayed to eat and as I looked around it appeared there had been a food fight as all the tables and floors were filthy. If I had looked closer I seen the mess before paying such an exorbitant amount I would have turned around and left. All I could think was I what shape the kitchen area in. Of course stopping through town and wanted chipotle over memorial weekend. Service was good same old same old. Lady was obviously being short with the meat but that always varies so no biggie. I get everything and I sit down to take a bite. CRACK! My tooth chomps on something that I'm convinced was a rock. It ended up being either overly cooked/under cooked rice. Not the type to complain or send food back at a restaurant, so this was a first. The food was inedible and honestly dangerous with there being rock hard pieces of rice in every bite. I didn't get what I paid for and when I complained it's your typical careless teen who seems to have nothing going on in his brain except waiting to get off work. No refund issued. Nice girl who apologized. Sad to see they didn't take the brown rice vat and replace even after I warned them Twice about the danger of it. Tooth still hurts from the rock rice they serve here. Management needs reevaluation, because I've never had a chipotle bowl be inedible due to the risk of cracking/chipping a tooth. Worst bowl Ive ever had, apologies were given, but actions were not taken to back up the apology. We ordered online for a pickup. Upon entering the store the people making our food were not wearing masks. This is a state law at this point. They had masks around their neck and when we asked them to please pulled them up we got a snide remark. This happened a second time. That's when we asked for the manager. Other than acknowledging that she indeed was the manager, she did nothing. They'll be lucky if they don't get shut down.
