Months ago we got burned a couple of times on the quantity and portions at Arlington Rd with the chicken bowl so we started going to other Chipotle restaurants, the bad thing is we would drive 35 minutes away because the Arlington Rd was so bad. Arlington Rd restaurant is 5 minutes away. We never have these issues at other Chipotle restaurants. Today we thought we would give Arlington Rd another shot, big mistake, are orders were very light on all ingredients except rice, it looked a bit over half size, like a small order. My husband used to be a kitchen manager at Chipotle so he always knows who's preparing the food correctly and who isn't! Everything we got here was incredible. I asked what the employees thought of the carnitas and barbacoa and they were helpful in sharing their opinions and even letting me try some of it. There were 3 girls behind the counter and we were the only customers. These 3 girls were the nastiest, rudest people ever. They treated us like crap. They yelled at us. I've been to several Chipotle restaurants around the country and this location is one of the best! Although there is a constant stream of people at any given time of the day, the staff is very quick to get you food and ring you up at the till! Yet, you don't feel pressured or rushed to decide what you'd like to eat. They are generous with their portion sizes, and if you ask them to drain the beans or add extra cheese, they happily do so without question (yes, I'm one of those people who ask for the beans to be drained of extra liquid! LOL) They also have an order-ahead system, so you can go online, order your food and pay via their website, and then go pick it up at the allotted time, thereby avoiding a line! I think all Chipotle restaurants have implemented this, and I suggest you try it out! It's really easy and quick and they still make the portion sizes perfect! If you are on a low-carb or ketogenic diet, Chipotle is an excellent choice if you don't feel like cooking! I suggest you get a bowl or salad bowl. Skip the rice and go with beans (beans have carbs, but it's mostly fiber, so the net carbs are low). You can choose any meat you like, but the carnitas (pork) and the chorizo (pork sausage) have the best fat-to-protein ratio. (I really love the flavor of the chicken though, so sometimes I get half chicken and half carnitas or chorizo. If you want a low-carb salsa, go with the Tomatillo Red-Chili Salsa (hot) and skip the fresh tomato salsa and skip the roasted chili-corn salsa. If you're doing well on carbs for the day, you can go ahead and have the Queso or Tomatillo Green-Chili Salsa. To up your fats, get the sour cream, lots of extra cheese, and consider paying extra for the guacamole. read more

This Chipotle gets 3 stars just because its Chipotle and the food is generally good. However, the portions and ratios of my burrito bowl were so off it wasn't the most delicious version. What do I mean? Well they were skimpy on the rice. I only got half a scoop of black beans and one scoop of chicken. The rest of the bowl was cheese, corn salsa and sour cream. There weren't even enough beans in the bowl to color the rice. All I tasted was the corn, cheese and sour cream. I just wasn't up to the Chipotle standard of excellence. Stopped in because normally Chipotle hits the spot. This visit was a huge disappountment. The line was exceptionally long so we watched the staff. A gentleman that was working behind the line came out to get a drink. He placed a cigarette in his mouth and walked around the restaurant. He then wiped his head and placed the cigarette behind his ear and went back to work without washing his hands. He later came out and proceeded to scratch his stomach and back where we got a great shot of his stomach and underwear. After that he went behind the counter and started helping wrap up food. I love chipotle but this chipotle location is HORRENDOUS. I waited in line for 25 minutes just to be told at the counter that they were out of a bunch of ingredients. I'm not sure why they wouldn't post a sign on the door... They were also out of medium and large size bags so the person working shoved my bowl in sideways into a tiny bag and handed it to me while everything poured out of it.
