We really enjoy Chip! The original chocolate chip cookies are really yummy. The flavors of the month are hit and miss, but some of them like the Oreo one are worthy to keep coming back for. The delivery service is very convenient when it is 11:00 pm and you really want a cookie. The cookies however are extremely sweet, so I eat about 1/4 of one before I am sugared out, but they're nice leftovers too. read more

I love Chip. I love that I can order online and have it delivered to my door for a nominal fee. I love the cookies, they're huge and chewy and they keep really well, I can eat them for at least 3 days without a significant decrease in freshness and taste, and it usually takes me that long to finish a box. The flavors of the month are usually made by local celebrities and are always fun to try, you can mix and match flavors in a single box (4 cookies a box). That being said, it is pricey for what amounts to great but not mind-blowing cookies. The flavors of the month are hit and miss, and your other options are severely limited. I would be more inclined to rate them higher if they offered more permanent flavors. read more

This place is cookie heaven. They are the ultimate chocolate chip cookie. They also do seasonal mix-ins (like Cadbury eggs for Easter, Reese's pieces for Halloween). The cookies themselves are huge, about 4-5 times the size of a regular cookie. I can barely eat a half of one at once. Fortunately they still taste great the next day. read more

The cookies where pretty good and we had a lot of fun whenever we go, talking to the workers and buying cookies. The reason I give it a 2 star is because of the girl manager who always is very rude to us and treats us badly when we ask questions or can't decide what we are buying. She has disrespected us several times and her favorite response to us seems to be rolling her eyes and ignoring us. Don't go in if she is working. #ithoughtthiswasmyhood read more

I'm convinced there are two kinds of cookie lovers on the planet...(1) those who are drawn to the extreme sweet; they can, and often do, eat candy for breakfast, they order coffee with sugar and whipped cream on top, they prefer stuffed French toast to regular - and (2) those who don't add anything sweet to their coffee, prefer a donut sans 4" of icing and sprinkles, and believe that brownies should never have frosting. I'm the latter and I don't love these cookies. If you're like me, you won't either. I love a crispy on the outside and done in the middle chocolate chip cookie. I prefer more and better cookie flavor over heft and super sweet - a big part of this is the chips they use. The milk chocolate just makes it that much sweeter; which, again, appeals to many, I acknowledge. And for the love of Strawberry Shortcake, why is it acceptable for the entire middle 30% of these cookies to be totally raw? I don't eat cookie dough; I know it's popular, and people love it, which makes me wonder if I'm in the minority. Doesn't matter because I'll never enjoy eating cookie dough. Hey, Chip boys, if you really want to capitalize on your business plan, add an option for those of us who can't tolerate your cookies the way you present the only option. I'd order every week if I could get a thinner, crispier, completely baked cookie with a semi-sweet chip option. Milk, or no milk. Regardless, they get two stars from me for their concept. I love the late night delivery idea. read more

Am I the only one who doesn't understand the hype about these? I've had Chip from my brother bringing some home for us a few times. I wasn't impressed. Tonight, I went there myself for the first time. We had them warm & again not impressed. For my taste, they are overly sweet, too "bready", too thick & undercooked. I like the gooey cookie just like the next person but I don't like them raw inside, which mine were tonight. There's nothing special about them. The price is fair but you can go to other small bakeries with more variety and a much better cookie. Good hours for a college town. But, staff is meh, they're too busy having their own conversations then to cater to customers but they're college students (I'm assuming) so I don't expect much. read more

I love Chip! Yes I can make delicious cookies, but let's face it! We don't all have the time to do that, it's quiet a bit of work. So to be able to have a spot around the corner from my house that makes awesome homemade like cookies king size it's a win win.... there opened late night so it's great for stopping in for a late night dessert best to go with another couple bcz there's 4 cookies in a box and you can share the bill. Or you can take them home and eat them later on in the week bcz there just as good cold or hot! They even deliver! I totally recommend this place, specially if your a chocolate chip cookie lover. You can't do it all the time bcz we will blow up like blimps but there a great treat once in a long while. Must must must! read more

Best chocolate cookie in the state. No, I'm not being hyperbolic. It really is that good. Two things to note before coming here so that you have correct expectations for this place; 1) there are only two types of cookies to order here. The chocolate chip and another one made with Cadbury eggs. I haven't had the Cadbury flavor. 2) The cookies are $2.50 each. That's not cheap. However, I dare you to make a cookie this tasty, big, fluffy or perfectly cooked. You can't. I promise. There is a really popular grocery chain in the Seattle area called Metropolitan market. I'm not joking when I tell you that Metropolitan market built its entire business off the popularity of it's cookie (called The Cookie) which they claim to have perfected (and everyone in the area agrees). I can tell you in all seriousness that Chip is right up there with The Cookie, albeit it is slightly different ingredients (milk chocolate vs Belgian chocolate, and no walnuts or sea salt). For comparison sake, The Cookie at metropolitan market is $3 each. The Chip cookie is phenomenal. I would gladly come out of my way for a special occasion. read more

I have loved chip since we moved here to Utah. I've ordered so many times I've lost count, pick up, delivery, delivery to friends etc. But I am SO disappointed in their behavior today. They posted this disrespectful pic for Memorial Day. After many people commented and pointed out how inappropriate the pic was, they responded with a snippy comment asking for advice on what to do differently, got many responses on what to do, and made no changes. My brother is in the army but still has his life and I was put off, I can't even imagine how the family of a fallen soldier would feel about this. Using a grave to advertise... Way to put business ahead of respecting the reason for this day! They can do what they want but so can I, I will not be ordering from them again and will definitely share this story with friends and family in the future. read more

I live SO close to these guys, which is a problem. I smell the cookie goodness wafting from their doors as I walk to the gym. Again...a problem;) HA. I have never been disappointed with their cookies or the service of the employees. Everyone has been friendly and our cookies have been served FRESH in a timely manner. I am a big fan of their monthly flavors! It's pretty much the only way I can convince my husband of getting Chip once a month;) "But we have to try the new flavor!" We have never been disappointed....Reece's Pieces, Chocolate Peppermint, Red Velvet (with cream cheese drizzling sauce)...YUM. I am so excited to try their new Lucky Charms flavor for March. The only thing keeping them from a 5-star rating is a bit personal...I sent a resume in after they posted on their social media about wanting someone to join their marketing team; I didn't hear back from anyone, so I sent in a follow up a week later. Still didn't hear back. Not terribly disappointed that I didn't get to join their team, it's just more professional and polite to let people know the position was filled, they aren't hiring, etc. especially after a follow up has been sent in. But their cookies are bomb so definitely get your butt in to try some. read more

Chip Cookies - Look. At. That. Dough. - Desserts Near Me - Provo, Utah

5 stars for the cookies, 1 star for the delivery service. Ordered cookies from their hip website, and over an hour later after the delivery window had passed, Chip called to tell me my order would be late (you don't say) because they were "low on drivers" and asked if I had any questions. WHERE THE COOKIES AT BRO. Maybe next time call when my order comes in and don't leave me salivating in my house for an hour waiting for your cookies? No coupon for next time, free cookies, nothing. Just a refund and an empty stomach. Thanks Chip. Plenty of competitors who can deliver. UPDATE: My wife went in soon after I posted this review because she still had the craving, and when she mentioned our disappointment was given a free box of chip cookies. Very nice of them! Again, the cookies are delicious, 5 stars. The manager also reached out over yelp to me and offered to have a free box of cookies delivered to my house. I did not respond because my wife already got a free box. My review remains the same 3 stars though, 1 star for delivery service and 5 stars for the cookies. read more

Ok... Honestly I was VERY VERY SKEPTICAL about a "cookie store." I can just make my own for a LOT cheaper or buy my favorite chips ahoy cookies for $2 at Walmart. Everyone raved about this place and I waited as long as I could before actually trying it... Cuz come on!.. $10 for 4 cookies??.... That's pricey. . Well. I WAS GLADLY WRONG. OH MY GOODNESS!!... Honestly the BEST COOKIES EVER. The the outside has just the right crunch with a sheet and warm middle. They're just the right sweetness and I love the amount of chocolate chips in each cookie. The size is perfect and each cookie has the same consistency whenever and wherever you buy it. The service is quick, people are friendly, and cookies are to die for. I love that they don't have a lot of other flavors - it really makes them the MASTER of chocolate chip cookies. They don't waste time trying to make every single cookie out there. BUT they do offer a special cookie of the month which is guaranteed DELICIOUS. ALWAYS get the half and half - 2 normal chocolate chip and 2 special of the month. :) read more

Pros: size is the cookie is huge--I get why it is a little pricy, they are hot when you get them, great overall taste (some of the best dough), LOVE their specialties especially the biscoff--biscoff I for sure give 5 stars Cons: honestly they have got to have a semi-sweet option and that's why I can only give 4 stars. The first delivery cookie place to get permanent semi-sweet will double in sales. Overall great cookies and appreciate that they always come hot and are huge. read more

The cookies are really quite good. But you'd expect this for $2.50 a cookie, right?! That being said, there are other bakeries near by that also charge $2.50 per cookie, but theirs are only average sized. Chip Cookies are a good sized, warm and delicious! read more

I LOVE chip cookies, I will easily debate with anyone about why chip cookies is the BEST cookie place in Utah, hands down. The best chocolate chip cookie you will ever have! And the flavors of the month never miss. I probably go at least once a week for the past 3 years I have lived in Utah and am still not sick of them. Chip cookies is not only a must stop when you visit Utah or first move here, but should be incorporated into your daily life. read more

I finally tried these cookies yesterday after hearing all the hype, and I will say, they are good. Like, really good. If you love Levain cookies in NYC, but are too poor to fly to NYC just for cookies (me), then you should definitely try them. Huge, gooey, soft, warm, terrible for your health and slightly undercooked--all the characteristics of a good cookie, in my opinion. My only complaint, however, is that I wish you could go into the store and just buy them individually. Sometimes I just want a good cookie for myself and not a family of six, you know? read more

I finally decided to try Chip cookies after alllll of the hype, and I'm disappointed. I opted to pick the cookies up on location. Customer service was great- delightful and speedy. The girl that served me was very kind and let me know how everything worked. I completely understand the draw for a warm, gooey, fresh-out-of-the-oven cookie. However, I will say that there IS a difference between a "gooey" cookie and an "under-baked" cookie. Chip's cookies were under-baked. Sometimes letting a cookie sit overnight will allow some of the moisture to spread throughout the cookie to make it perfectly soft, so I gave Chip's cookies that chance- didn't happen. This confirms my concern that the cookies just are not being baked completely. I didn't enjoy the milk chocolate chip flavor. For a cookie that is so big, it is way too sweet. It wouldn't have been my first choice, but that's the only option I was given. The price point is insane... $10 for 4 cookies?! I would understand that price for deliver, but for the product and in-store pickup it's steep. To summarize.. I had more faith in people's taste when it comes to cookies. If you are looking for a warm, under-baked, overly sweet, expensive cookie: Chip's milk chocolate chip cookie is for you. read more

Just ok. We heard great things about it- the location is pretty sketch and dark and run down. The cookies were fine but not worth what they charge. The service was just ho-hum. I'll be surprised if this place is still in business in 6 months. read more

I'll start off by saying that this may not be 100% fair, since I compare all cookies to my wife's cookies, and nobody has come close. These were pretty good though. So I read a lot of reviews talking about how the cookies are so big that they couldn't finish even one. Well, after eating a whole cookie, I can tell you that the size of the cookie is not the reason why most people cannot finish one. It's because it's straight dough in the middle. The outside of the cookie is pretty great, as the taste and texture are how a cookie should be, but when you get into the cookie, the inside is the consistency of peanut butter. Makes it hard to eat, unless you take small bites. (I have a big mouth. I take big bites.) All in all, it's a good cookie, but nothing amazing. Is it worth $2.50 per cookie? Not really, but it's not like you're going to buy them every day. It's a fun treat every now and then. read more

Honestly I like the idea but the cookies just really aren't good . I wanted to love it so much because what's better than cookies delivered to your door still warm!? But I couldn't even finish half of one cookie the tasted so bad. It was like raw dough in the middle. I tried it a second time, hoping they would be better but my husband, and his four friends, and me couldn't even finish the four cookies because no one liked them very much. Also the customer service is seriously lacking. I get that you get super busy and overwhelmed, but customers should be number one. read more

I drove down to Provo the week I first heard about Chip Cookies. Reviewers were comparing them to the famous Levain cookie in NYC (in my opinion, the best cookie in America) so I had to give it a try. And...I was disappointed. Levain? No. Not even close. Are they big and gooey and pretty darn fresh? Yes. But the actual recipe itself is about what I turn out of my kitchen on a rainy day. That being said--are they good cookies? Yes! Are they perfect (and HUGE) if you are a college student looking for a cheap and delicious treat? Yes! Are they worth driving to another county to try? Nope. And please stop comparing these to Levain. That's just insulting. read more

So my friend had chip cookies delivered for me and the girl who was delivering it is wiping her nose and then wiped on her shirt then put her fingers in her nose trying to remove her booger( post a video of it and photos on my social media and their site as well) kinda unsanitary especially now with covid or even without covid this situation should have never happened because you don't know if she has a Cold or flu that the customer can get. So I called the place and the girl I talked to said. "Well Ma'am all of us here are covid vaccinated and there is nothing I can do for you!!" No sorry or any sympathy at all like it's totally fine for their employee to act that way..Like are you for real?? The fact that NOW everytime I will see Chip cookies I will remember this video and it will definitely scares the crap out of me!! And for them to act like this is OK? It's definitely so concerning!! So unsanitary and unsafe...chip is my favorite cookies but now the worst cookies and experience I had. The owner should definitely do something about it since it's your reputation that is on the line!! I'm usually not the type of person who will put any comment or something online but I think the people should know and be aware how fast germs can spread by people like this. read more

The cookies were okay. I drove all the way from out of town (about 45 minutes) just to buy these and it was horrible how they treated me. We had been waiting there in line and we weren't helped at all. I guess the place is run out of some side office. It's not a place where you can dine in. You just pick up and go. They come out to you in a line and take your order. It was my first time there and this young girl skips behind me and takes 2 peoples orders until I tell her I had gotten there way before these white kids had gotten there. She must have assumed because I was standing in line with other People of color that we were all together. She didn't apologize or anything for overlooking us after we had been waiting for 10-15 minutes. She's just tapping away and without making eye contact asks, "how many boxes did you want?" I ask her how much it is for a box of cookies and she says, "it's 10.78... but that depends." She holding our card already at this point . Swipes it and Then she runs to the back and doesn't come back. So another young man comes to the front and asks if we have paid, yet and we tell him yes. He comes back and hands us our order and it was just a horrible experience. Okay cookies for horrible customer service. read more

In case you (somehow) haven't heard- now you have: THESE COOKIES IS GOOD. There is one thing offered at Chip, a box of four warm, giant, delicious, ooey-gooey, melt in your mouth chocolate chip cookies. They are perfectly baked so that they're crispy on the outside but have a soft doughy center. It is a combination so exactly perfect that you won't know whether you are dying and going to heaven, or lusting after more of this hot seductive goodness. While we may wish there was the option to buy just one or two- we don't complain. Especially considering they will deliver this box of dreams to your door late at night. read more

4 giant chocolate chip cookies for $10! They were good and still warm when I ate them. I couldn't eat more than half of one so make sure you get them to share. I was a walk in customer, there was no line and they were quick getting my order. The place had a weird odor so I'm glad it wasn't an eat-in situation. I live nearby and stopped here on whim. I don't think it would be worth going out of your way to get these cookies but if you happen to be nearby it would be a fun treat. read more

There is a reason that this place is addicting as has inspired a lot of copy cats! The cookies are decadent and delicious. Maybe a bit oily and you will probably regret finishing the whole thing in one sitting upon finishing, but there is really no substitute for biting into a warm, fresh cookie. I do wish they threw in a semi-sweet chip option. (Pretty please?? I am so easy to please!) I am currently living out of state so I recently sent a box to my boyfriend as a congratulatory treat and I was very impressed by the service! Easy to order, I could add a hand written note and they sent me updates via text along the whole process. Indulge knowing that you might feel a satisfying guilt upon finishing. read more

Biscoff is the goat. I have never had a better cookie in my entire life. Get the biscoff cookie....

I'll give it four stars. The cookies are good! They're big. They're yummy. But they were a bit dry. It's like $2.50 a cookie but with the delivery fee it's more like $3.25, which is a lot. But they were warm and delicious. 100% have milk with them. It makes them way better. I like how you can do your delivery tip online. One time, my wife had a meeting with an owner or manager or someone and he forgot about it and was being really weird about it. So that was really unprofessional and weird, but hey, I like the cookies. read more

I prefer Chip Cookies over Crumbl Cookies, but it seems like every time I've ordered for delivery, there has been a problem. Today after being 45 minutes late, I called the store to find out what was happening. I was informed they were busy and only had one driver. A better system needs to be put in place to communicate with your customers and let them know what is going on with their orders. It is so frustrating. I ended up cancelling my order as we needed to leave And went to Crumbl instead. read more

Great idea, and great cookies. I am glad they are here. These delicious, buttery, sugary, chocolaty bulges are served warm, thick and gooey. I know that they have been experiencing a few growing pains, but that is expected with a company that is growing from the ground up as fast as they are. I expect with their new storefront, many of these growing pains will have been alleviated. Two thoughts: 1- Make sure that the cookies are done. I know they are supposed to be gooey, but I have had a few that border on raw. 2- Have a dark\semi sweet chocolate chip option. The milk chocolate is okay, but everyone knows that dark\semi-sweet is better ;). read more

BEST. CHOCOLATE. CHIP. COOKIES. EVER. Reading these bad reviews honestly make me laugh. They have no merit and are completely false. We all have our opinions but out of all my friends and family who have tried chip, not one dislikes them! Better yet we are all obsessed. I love the business model, simplicity is the best. I'm an indecisive person so when I go to places that have 1,000 options I'm stressed. Don't order delivery unless you're willing to wait 2 hours. There is no urgency or priority on deliveries.

COOKIE DELIVERY! It's about time Provo started catching up with the trends! In New York there are a ton of cookie delivery services like Levain and Insomnia, and I'm so glad we now have Chip to satisfy our late-night cravings. We called in at around 9:00pm to order 4 cookies and some milk and were greeted with the aroma of freshly-baked chocolate chip goodness about 35 minutes later. That was fast! They bake the cookies to order, so I'm guessing they keep the dough refrigerated and scoop n slap them in the oven when you call. Let's talk about those cookies, though. They. Are. HUGE. They're like the equivalent of 3+ regular-sized cookies. The website says each is made of 6oz of dough. That's over 1/3lb! I'd say the $2.50/cookie is a fair price for these guys. And they're delicious, too. Chip uses milk chocolate chips (Guittard brand, I believe), a good ratio of white to brown sugar (on the white end of the spectrum, I believe), and definitely doesn't overwork the batter. The cookies rise high and are fluffy but still solid, of that makes sense. I still think that The Mighty Baker MIGHT edge Chip out for Provo's best chocolate chip cookie, but the two are very similar and I wish I could try the two side-by-side while they were both fresh. That said, I will never, ever complain about eating these cookies. I believe that chocolate chip is Chip's only available flavor right now, but I'm really looking forward to seeing what they come up with in the future. If they can do peanut butter and white chocolate macadamia cookies as solid as they do their chocolate chip cookie... I might just have to move outside of their delivery zone to not gain 30lbs. You can also get cookies from them in person (no delivery), but keep in mind that this is an evening-to-late night establishment. In other words, they only serve you when your brain doesn't want to make healthy decisions. (Am I right?) read more
