I am a Harvard Square chip city frequent flyer, so I was excited to try the location at Arsenal Yards. Stopped here for dessert. It was a Friday night, of it was busier, and they were out of about half of the offerings. Nevertheless, I got the peanut butter cookie and it was amazing. CC is leagues ahead of Crumbl & Insomnia. I also walked in while a person was waiting to do a job interview, and the manager was very sweet to him, so props to that. I will be back! read more

It's okay. I like how convenient it is to get cookies if I'm already shopping at Arsenal Yards. The cookies look fresh and feel warm when you first get it. By the time you take them home...it taste like any other cookie bought at the super market. Wait till the next day and you don't even wanna try it anymore. If you're gonna get these, eat them on the spot for optimal flavor/texture. The staff here are friendly and the place looks clean. Obviously, plenty of parking options. Pricing and cookie size is on par and similar to Crumble Cookie, which I prefer over this place. Crumble is closed on Sundays, though. read more

I've been wanting to try Chip City for the longest time. I finally went with some friends the other day and ended up sampling six different flavors. If I were to rank them from favorite to least favorite, it would be: Blueberry Cheesecake, S'mores, Cookies and Cream, Chocolate Chip, Cannoli, Brookie. The Blueberry Cheesecake was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. I was excited for Cannoli, and while it didn't taste bad, it was a bit too lemony. Lastly, I had high hopes for Brookie since it's a brownie, but it just didn't hit the mark for me and was hard to chew. read more

A cookie shop from NY has landed in Watertown. It's super bright and colorful and had young, friendly staff working when we came in before catching a movie at Majestic 7. The cookie trays out on display had all been empty (apparently there was a huge crowd before us) and we were told the new batch would come out in a couple minutes. We ended up waiting 20 minutes so we couldn't eat the cookies in time before the movie so I tried them after the movie. The staff kept communicating the wait to us so no biggie on this! The sprinkle cookie was delicious, but the chocolate chip cookie had the consistency more like a biscuit filled with chocolate chips. I love Chip City!! Like most cookie places, they rotate flavors weekly. They do keep 4 core cookies on the menu. These include the chocolate chip, cookies n cream, s'mores, and confetti. They also seem to offer a dairy free option each time I go which is great. I suggest looking at their Instagram/website before going to see what's new. The cookies are thick, but are classic and not over the top when it comes to crazy flavors...take the best qualities of Crumbl Cookies and Insomnia Cookies and combine them, that's Chip City. Each cookie is $4.75, and then they have two box specials. They have a deal where if you buy 3, you get the 3rd cookie half off. The other deal is for their box of 6, buy 5 cookies and get one free. I've gone a couple of times now and have tried their White Chocolate Macadamia, Chocolate Chip, and their Cookies n Cream. Loved them all to be honest. They also sell cool merch and the whole vibe of the place is just fun. People working there are friendly as well. 10/10 for cookies and bonus points for location, as there's plenty of free parking in Arsenal Yards. read more

I didn't know what to get, looking at cookies and they don't rush you at all. They have flavors that change but have some that are regular. I liked how they are full cookies, not small. I ordered the chocolate chip, cookies and cream. If you order a third, you get it half price. Otherwise the cookies are 4.75 each. About that. It's not bad when you see the size you get. They put them in a box and I loved how they give you directions on the box on how to reheat them in an oven or microwave. That was helpful! They also have cute mer to buy from stuffed animals, to hats and other cute things. I would go back. It's located at Arsenal Yards, where you have plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. A new cute cookie place in Arsenal Yards. I came here on a weekend right when they opened and the worker explained the deals they had and the flavors they offered for the week. They have rotating flavors each week as well as some classics like chocolate chip. I decided to get the 3 pack (buy 2 and get $1.75 off the 3rd) and got red velvet hot chocolate, butterscotch toffee, and dairy free chocolate chip. The red velvet hot chocolate had chocolate pudding inside which added more flavor to the cookie. The butterscotch toffee was sweet and crunchy and I couldn't tell the difference from the dairy free chocolate chip versus a normal chocolate chip cookie. These cookies are big, but not heavy, so you can definitely eat a whole one or share with friends. The box is cute and also has reheating instructions and cookies can stay on the counter for up to 3 days. read more

A must try cookie location that challenges Levain! Their always fresh baked WARM cookies are amazing. Personally, not a fan of the s'mores (not enough marshmallow for the whole cookie) and the oatmeal was subpar if I'm nice. HOWEVER their chocolate chip hits you hard. When you get that overpriced milk with the cookie it makes you rethink all the cookies you've had before and blows Levain out of the water. I'd recommend getting your own milk but hey get those chocolate chip! As a heads up, each cookie is 4 servings! So check that calorie count if it matters to you. read more
