What made the situation even worse was that when she calmly brought these concerns to the staff's attention, instead of listening or trying to resolve the issue, they became defensive and talked back. Rather than focusing on helping the customer or finding a solution, they chose to argue, which only made the experience more upsetting. I understand that everyone has difficult days, but customers deserve to be treated with respect.
