Excellent, friendly service. Not a fancy place, but I was comfortable. Lunch and combinations offer great deals. Can't beat the prices. Loved the massive amounts of vegetable in the pork chow mein. Have been looking for good egg foo young in the area, so hope to try that next time and hoping to be delighted.

Oh my goodness!! The hugest rave to Chins Chinese. This was our first time trying and it is definitely a new favorite of mine!! The owner was so friendly & humorous. Our food was absolutely amazing, the crab puffs were so incredible that I ordered another order to go. And it came out so quickly! Very attentive and delicious. I super recommend!!

We have many good Chinese spots in Sacramento. In town for about a week and tried this hole in the wall. We were skeptical because of the name but still gave it a tried. The place was clean and neat. Lots of seating area. Service and food were excellent!! I would recommend this place and would go there again. Lots of food options. Tried the following: Cashew chicken - this was ok but very few cashews in the dish. General chicken - this was good. Would order again. Sweet and tangy. My shu beef - best dish in my opinion. Highly recommend. It's like the Chinese version of a taco/burrito. This place surprised us. Good Americanized Chinese food.

Cashew Chicken and Pork Fried Rice -- YUMMO!

Chin's is Humboldt Counties best kept secret. We always have a good meal there. Highlights are General Tso's Chicken, Sesame Prawns, Pork Fried rice, and for an appetizer, Crab Cheese Puffs. Ambience is not so much. Many of the booths upholstery is held together with duck tape, but you go to Chin's for the food, not the ambience.

I'm not sure if Chinn changed chicken vendors, but my sweet and sour chicken looked strange. A bit disappointed with my order.

Old style - everything looked the same, except the orange chicken. Tasted about the same between dishes.

Hot and sour soup was delish! Best Chinese in town. Cool little hole in the wall. Call before to make sure they're open!

I've driven past this place all the time, but never stopped. I came in today, because they were…read moredoing a fundraiser for autism. Which I thought was nice. The donuts looked great, and I like the reviews, but this time I came for the Chinese food.. The space is very clean, and the lady who runs the place was very, very friendly and helpful. All of the food looked good. They have both fried and non-fried options. I went for the two item combo, and instead of fried rice and chow mein, I had steamed rice. I ordered the non-spicy curry chicken, and the chicken with carrots and broccoli. Overall, the food was good. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and in both dishes, the veggies were perfectly al dente. The rice was also the perfect texture. On the curry chicken, I don't know if there was a misunderstanding on either of our end, because I did get a spicier chicken dish. it was well within what I'm comfortable with spicy, and the flavor was very good. It just wasn't what I was expecting. But hey, it happens. While food was very good, it was just a tiny bit oily. I could feel a tiny bit of the oil on my lips. Again, I do realize that that's how they cook the food in the wok. For a very large plate of food, I only paid 12 bucks. Extremely reasonable. I would definitely come back to try the donuts next time, and maybe some of the other dishes. Thank you.

I havent been here years never thought the donuts were special. Though I haven't visited in person…read morein about 5 years until this morning, I recently had their apple fritter a week ago which a coworker had brought in to work. It left a very waxy film in your mouth unlike donut mill which makes exceptional apple fritters. I assume they use some solid frying oil like shortening or something. But the real reason for leaving this review is as I came in. I asked for a round glazed cinnamon roll. It was 6.95. An apple fritter was 6.95. A dozen donut holes was 5.95 a glazed donut was 2.95. Are you absolutely out of your mind? The donuts are so mid tier and youre charging more for that filth than a local bakery does for their pastries. Absolutely out of your minds. We would always make fun of this place because the lady would be so obnoxious and always be like and then and then and then what else what else you want what else you want and then what else you want. Like nothing I want one donut that's it. Thank god she wasnt there this morning and it was some other gentlemen. I gladly told him I didn't know donuts were so expensive and I walked out. How does this place still exist a dozen regular donuts are 40 dollars

A Tale of Two WOKINs: A Journey from SoCal to NorCal in Search of the Perfect Bite…read more Every family has a story, a collection of moments stitched together with love, laughter, and--if you're lucky--really, really good Chinese food. Ours begins in Redlands, California, where a humble, hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant called WOK IN became more than just a place to grab takeout. It became a second home. A young couple owned it, pouring their heart and soul into every dish, and over the years, we grew close, bonding over sizzling woks and steaming bowls of comfort. But life, as it often does, led us north. A new chapter. A fresh start. And while we embraced the adventure, there was one thing missing--a place that felt like our place, a little corner of the world where good food and good people came together. For nearly a year, we searched. And then, like a beacon in the fog of hunger, we found it: WOK IN WOK OUT in Eureka, California. I told my wife about it, cautiously optimistic, but she met my excitement with skepticism. "Let's see if it's the same," she said, as only a woman who has been burned by disappointing takeout before can say. So we did. The order was simple: Kung Pao Chicken, soup, and Pad Thai. The stakes? Immensely high. One bite in, and suddenly, it wasn't just dinner--it was a rediscovery. The flavors were bold, the textures perfect, the spice hitting just right. And then, the true test: my wife, pregnant and all, gave me the nod. It didn't make her sick. That, my friends, is the highest praise a restaurant can receive in our household. While nothing will replace our forever WOK IN family in SoCal, WOK IN WOK OUT has given us a new home for comfort food up here in NorCal. It's not just about the food--it's about the feeling, the nostalgia, the quiet joy of finding a place where you belong. So, to the good people at WOK IN WOK OUT: thank you. You've given us more than just a meal--you've given us a piece of home. -Jacob Williams
