Farrar Wedding 2025…read more Absolutely an experience! We had our wedding event here on July 19, 2025. From the moment we sat down with David to discuss what we wanted, he was incredibly understanding of our budget and knew exactly how to make our day as beautiful as I imagined! Everything was beyond exceptional--our guests loved the venue and couldn't stop talking about how amazing everything and everyone was. I always have and will continue to recommend Factory of Dreams and/or Skyview Banquet Hall to anyone looking for a venue! That said, we did experience a few hiccups during the planning process. Communication with Chef Francisco G. wasn't the best--he wasn't timely in responding, which caused some stress. However, the food turned out good on the day of the event, though I was surprised and a bit disappointed that the kids were served Little Caesars pizza. As for Irma, who I was told was the event coordinator--she was very sweet and helpful in the beginning. But when it came time for the wedding rehearsal, I was told I had to find my own coordinator. This was frustrating because I had gone over all the event timing with her, so I assumed she would be the one handling it. If I needed to bring in someone else, I wish I had been told upfront--it would have saved some last-minute stress before my big day. And id also like to give a big thanks to the Bakery used Cakes Las Vegas so good with the flavors my husband does not like sweets but he did enjoy your cake. Despite these issues, I truly thank the entire team for their hard work and dedication. You all helped make our wedding a day to remember!

OMG people are STILL talking about it. I had kind of low expectations (mainly because there were a lot of kids in attendance, it was on a Monday, and it was the dead of summer in Vegas) but people PARTIED. It was the best time ever !!! Now for the critiques. I work in weddings. I'm an operations manger/banquet captain. So I get it. As someone who works in the industry, I was pretty frustrated about some things that other brides should know about their planning process. -leading up to the wedding.. there wasn't much help. I didn't know how many tables my wedding would average so I didn't know how many centerpieces to get, I didn't know what information I should have ready by my next appt, and there was no comfort or reassurance that everything was going to be okay -the photographer, Spencer, acted like he hated his job. I had a lot of kids in my wedding party and there was no bedside manner when it came to interacting with the kids. He almost seemed mad that the kids weren't posing properly for the pictures. I get that he probably wanted the pics perfect for my wedding, but also.. he could have been a little more patient -we purposely did first look and pics before ceremony so we could enjoy cocktail hour but after ceremony, we were brought to another room and there was no instruction or expectation as to what is next and we were in there until 45 min into cocktail hour -ceremony, they had the doors closed before I walked down the aisle, but I think I was in the middle of talking when they opened the doors. There was no last minute breath or comforting before I walked down the aisle -grand entrance, Marc, our dj told us who goes when.. but again... a lot of kids so we needed alittle more explaining and Gigi, our coordinator, just stood there letting us wonder who is next to go and when they go. There was no help -DJ, Marc was great. He was honestly the best part of the wedding. He read the room and played the bangers!!! However, I dedicated the bouquet to my mom, and there was supposed to be a song in the background- like my mother does by Lauren Alaina.. and he didn't play it so there was silence There's a few more things, but I think these are the most important ones to help you know what you're signing up for Anyways, overall- I had the absolute best time ever. But again, if you're a type B bride and don't know much about wedding planning... ask the questions and get clear expectations set. I was left a little lost at times

Fast forward to meeting our wedding coordinator Niki she made life that much easier. Again we were met with transparency and clear communication. She told us when we would connect with our dj photographer etc. she gave us our things that we needed to do and even gave us helpful tips on doing so. She took care of us as if we were family. Fast forward to the day before and the day of the wedding Niki took my wife under her wing and alleviated so much stress. She was such a rock in this whole thing for us. I've been to many weddings but this one was by far the best. (Not being bias bc this one was mine.) I've been to weddings that are triple+ the cost but do not pay attention to detail. The dj Syd was on point with the music and guided the whole thing into place. The photographer set us up and directed us where to be (he has clearly done this many times and knew the best shots) The food was absolutely amazing -side note usually wedding venues will skimp you food. I'm talking about spending 5k giving you like 5 pieces of ravioli with a crap steak. Not this place. This place gives you amazing food with leftovers and so much to choose from! The bartender was great with the guest and prompt with drinks. He had a well deserved tip jar out because he was that freaking good. The place was nice and cool protecting us from the Vegas heat. Niki over saw everything and even deflected those dumb questions from people. Truly truly made the whole event that much better. Our expectations were not only met but far exceeded. So much in fact it encouraged others to follow in our footsteps in marriage. Bottom line they are solid and straight to the point and there was zero hidden BS. I encourage everyone to use sunset gardens as your wedding venue. You won't beat the price or care that you get from this place. We initially sat next to one of the patio heaters, but this got too hot. We then sat too far from one, which made us cold. Kalani Peʻa warm-heartedly joked about the cold weather several times throughout the show. The problem with this outdoor amphitheater is that the weather in Vegas is either too hot or too cold throughout the year. Ironically, it is adjacent to the newly built America First Center where the Henderson Silver Knights play ice hockey. I think they did the audience a disservice by not hosting Kalani Peʻa's show in the arena. I suspect that most of them would have gladly paid double to be warm during the show. To add insult to injury, the microphone unexpectedly stopped working throughout the show. To his credit, Kalani Peʻa never flinched but continued singing the same as though nothing happened. This is a testament to how professional he is, not to mention how his booming voice naturally compensated for the irregularity of the sound system that night. Shortcomings of the venue notwithstanding, Kalani Peʻa performed a fantastic show. He does a great job of blending traditional and contemporary Hawaiian elements in a way that is appealing to both Hawaiian and non-Hawaiian audience members. His integration of Hawaiian language, culture, and history into his music and performances is exemplary for the longevity of Hawaiian heritage. He is also an entertaining showman with a larger-than-life persona. A central part of his show are dance performances by hālau hula (Hawaiian cultural dance academies). This show in Henderson featured the dancers of the local academy, Hālau Nā Lei O Kahikilani, under the direction of Kahiki Kay-Akana, Kumu Hula (accredited hula teacher). Kalani Peʻa is a proud graduate of Ke Kula ʻO Nāwahīokalaniʻōpuʻu, a Hawaiian language immersion school in Keaʻau, Hawaiʻi. He received his undergraduate degree from Colorado Mesa University. He has won three Grammy awards in Regional Roots. I highly recommend his music to anyone.

We loved the ease of hosting our wedding and reception all in one area with accommodations so close by for our out-of-town guests. The venue also presented a variety of ceremony options throughout the village. We loved the all-inclusive offering of the venue, especially as average weddings in the US can now cost $33k+. Danielle's all-inclusive package was far more reasonable. We did encounter some snags along the way, although Danielle did much of what she could to try to iron them out, but be advised that because the venue has to work with the local housing associations and boards that manage the wider village calendar, they move at their pace, and that can sometimes slow down dates being locked in. On the flip side, while we committed to the all-inclusive package, Danielle also allows for flexibility, such as us deciding to forego a cake instead selecting a variety of desserts. I recently had the opportunity to visit a local restaurant, and I must say that my overall experience left much to be desired. The restaurant in question boasted an appealing ambiance and friendly staff, but unfortunately, the food fell short of my expectations, leaving me underwhelmed. One of the main aspects that left me disappointed was the food itself. While it wasn't necessarily terrible, it was just basic. The dishes lacked that extra touch that elevates a meal from average to outstanding. The flavors were muted, and the presentation was uninspiring. It felt as though the kitchen had put little effort into creating a memorable culinary experience. To make matters worse, the restaurant had a rather unusual policy when it came to birthdays. I was shocked to learn that they charged an extra $2 per person for plates when customers brought their own birthday cake. Now, it's not uncommon for establishments to charge a cake-cutting fee, but this additional charge for plates seemed excessive and unnecessary. It left a sour taste in my mouth and felt like a blatant attempt to squeeze a few extra dollars out of their patrons. On a more positive note, the service at the restaurant was friendly and attentive. The staff members were welcoming and did their best to accommodate our needs. However, even their warm demeanor couldn't compensate for the lackluster food and the additional charge for plates. In terms of value for money, the restaurant did not meet my expectations. Considering the ordinary quality of the food and the unexpected fee for plates, I found the overall experience to be overpriced. There are many other establishments in the area that offer superior culinary delights at a more reasonable cost. In conclusion, while the restaurant had its strengths in terms of ambiance and service, it fell short in the most critical aspect--the food. With lackluster flavors and uninspiring presentation, it failed to leave a lasting impression. Moreover, the additional charge for plates, especially for a birthday cake, seemed unreasonable. If you're seeking a memorable dining experience, I would recommend exploring other options in the area before settling for this particular restaurant. read more

Aloha! I recently had an unforgettable dining experience at Chinitas Tapas & Sushi located on Water Street in Henderson, Nevada. It was a delightful date night with my beautiful wife, Sandi. From start to finish, everything about this restaurant exceeded our expectations. First and foremost, let me commend our server, Ari, who went above and beyond to make our evening truly special. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her attentive service made us feel like VIPs. The staff at Chinitas Tapas & Sushi truly knows how to provide top-notch hospitality. To kick off our meal, we indulged in the Elote Ribs and Screaming Tuna Sashimi. These appetizers were bursting with flavor and left us craving more. The combination of the succulent corn and the fresh, melt-in-your-mouth tuna was a match made in culinary heaven. Next up were the Cauliflower Tacos, Hawaiian Roll, and Tacos Al Pastor. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. The flavors danced on our taste buds, creating a symphony of taste that delighted our senses. It's evident that the chefs at Chinitas Tapas & Sushi are masters of their craft. And if you're looking to lose weight there were plenty of healthy options on the menu to choose from! To complement our meal, I ordered the Blueberry Mojito and it was simply divine. The refreshing blend of blueberries, mint, and the perfect amount of rum was the ideal companion to the delectable dishes we enjoyed. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, and the attention to detail in the decor added to the overall experience. The vibrant atmosphere combined with the warm and friendly staff created an atmosphere of joy and relaxation. Chinitas is not only an incredible fusion Japanese/Mexican restaurant, but it also offers an exceptional event space perfect for gatherings of up to 150 guests. The upstairs event space features both indoor and outdoor areas, which we utilized for our event. There is a dedicated entrance with a red rope at the stairs to the left, allowing guests to walk in, or you can access the space through the restaurant if you need to use the elevator or bring additional items. Upon reaching the upstairs venue, I was blown away by the beautiful decorations that Chanthy had arranged. As a busy entrepreneur, I didn't have time to decorate for my son's graduation party, so I was thrilled to discover that Chinitas not only has a stunning space but also offers event planning services. They can bring your vision to life, ensuring the perfect event. The decorations were stunning, complete with flowers, balloons, a graduation cake, an amazing donut wall, cute cupcakes, and even a photo booth to create wonderful memories. The food was, as always, exceptional. We enjoyed a delicious variety of dishes, and while pre-ordering is an option, I chose to let my 20 guests order whatever they wanted. The venue also features a bar and a dance floor, where we played music from my daughter's playlist. Our table ordered an array of delicious items, including sushi rolls, birria rolls, surf & turf fried rice, poke nachos, Brussels sprouts, burgers, shrimp tacos, and more. My son was thrilled with his graduation party, and I couldn't have been happier. Everyone was impressed with the event. I'm incredibly grateful that Chinitas offers such a beautiful space, delectable food, and comprehensive decoration services, allowing me to simply enjoy my family and the party. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant and private event venue to anyone. You won't be disappointed! read more

This place is amazing. I reserved a table for 16 for my daughters 20th bday at 7 pm on a Tuesday. The service was absolutely exceptional and fast! As soon as we arrived Austin took the cake I had brought and placed it in the cooler for me. They set the table up for us right on time. Adrian was our server and he was very personable and got right into getting our drinks and food rolling. My favorite was the spicy tuna roll and Japanese lasagna. We all tried many different items on the menu and were able to share it all. They had 10$ Tuesday which consisted of quite a few different options on the menu. They allowed us plenty of time for my daughter to open her gifts and then Adrian lit her candles and took care of bringing the cake out for us. This is one of my absolute favorite spots in town! The mix of tapas and sushi is such a unique concept, and they pull it off perfectly. We made a reservation through OpenTable, but when we arrived, the hostess seemed overwhelmed by the number of online reservations. This resulted in us having to choose between waiting 40 minutes or sitting outside in the sun, which was a bit frustrating. Additionally, the place is quite loud, making it hard to have a conversation without raising your voice. However, if you can overlook these issues, the food is absolutely worth it. Our water was set as soon as we were seated. The drinks were about 5 minutes later and the food was about 5 minutes after we ordered. The ribeye was tender and cooked to perfection. The tacos are perfect and filling. A must visit when in Henderson!!! Thank you Becca for a great experience. See you next time we visit. read more

Chinitas absolutely delivered. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming--perfect for a fun night out or a relaxed dinner. Service was prompt without feeling rushed, which we really appreciated. The food was the star of the show. Everything we tried was amazing, especially the sushi, lettuce cups, and pork wontons. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Great vibes, great service, and seriously great food. Can't wait to come back. read more

I added some details in the pictures with this review. We had reserved a Teppanyaki table in advance, we were a little early and had a short wait but we're seated and got drinks pretty quickly. Some of us got our own entrees and some of us did the split charge where you share the protein, but you each get your own rice and noodles and salad, I really recommend that if you don't have a huge appetite. Also, they have a ton of sushi options! There really is a lot to try here. We come a few times a year and really each time it has always been great, but this is my first time reviewing. It's one of those restaurants where there's a lot of variety and the chef's performance at the Tabernacle table makes it fun for both adults and kiddos. We'll definitely plan to return!

Takoyaki, spicy tuna, yellowtail, spicy scallop, dynamite roll, pimp my ride, samurai surf and turf. Not all in one sitting but over the last 5 yrs, we've had them all. I'm a huge fan. He said it was delicious and could not get over the miso butter gravy that came with it to dip the steak in. Out of kindness (it's hard keeping a business afloat), I was going to give today's lunch 3 stars…read more Then I read my previous review, which was 3-star, and I realized that we received Lack of Attention and Service today, just as we did the last time we were there. Since the table service hasn't improved, I've gotta go with two stars. Hubby and I arrived around 1:00 PM on a Thursday and were seated immediately. Instead of reading the menu, Hubby asked if they offered a Vegetable Tempura and Shrimp Tempura. The waitress said they have both a dinner and an appetizer. We're so old now that we just can't eat much at any one sitting, so we ordered two Tempura appetizers which included two shrimp each, a large slice of eggplant, a sweet potato slice and an asparagus spear. I wish they'd served an onion rather than the eggplant. The inside of the eggplant was gray; it wasn't appealing -- and we do eat with our eyes first. I took a bite of the shrimp and didn't like it; I gave it to Hubby who ate it. (It had no flavor and, other than the tempura itself, no texture. It was mushy.) I later tried the other shrimp with the same result. I traded it for Hubby's sweet potato. The asparagus spear was scrawny and overcooked. I didn't care for the sauce; therefore, I wanted wasabi to mix with the soy sauce that was on the table. That never happened because no one ever came to check on us! Not once! The tempura was oily. I needed a second napkin and had to get up, go get it myself from a neighboring table because after a young man delivered our food, neither our waitress nor anyone else ever checked on us; not even once during the meal. Not once! No one asked us if we needed anything; no one visited our table for any reason, not once after the food was delivered. We finished eating and sat for a couple of minutes. No one came around with a check, so I went looking for our waitress in order to get the check. In summary: The food was disappointing. Specifically: the tempura was too oily; the eggplant was gross; the shrimp was flavorless and its texture was mush; and the asparagus spear was scrawny and overcooked. The service was worse because not once did anyone check on us! I had to go in search of both a second napkin and the check; and I went without wasabi. If you read my previous review, my issue then was the service. So, Lesson Learned. By me. Clearly, the wait staff ignore customer feedback about service. So this will be our last visit. Adios, Caio Caio and see ya never.

I got to Cactus buffet but the wait was over 40min and its 1:00pm and the ride from Summerlin was very hot one and I haven't eaten yet. So I decided next time and I rode back to this spot. Ok first glance a bit empty for Sunday and I did wait a bit for hostess. So I sat down the place is clean and nicely decorated. The menu Mexican American didn't really see anything special. So I landed on two plates and let Bridget waitress pick. I was between Asada and eggs and Chorizo omelet she said you must try the chorizo omelet because the chorizo is in house made...ok something special I didn't notice or know hint hint to owners you might highlight this. Yes one if the best chorizo omelet and im not an omelet lover actually a scramble suits me better but WOW the taste of everything went so well...this where me and Bridget got into it...not really I did love the orange sauce it came and yes I do like green better over red sauce but this orange sauce went soooooooooo welllllllll. Lol. The pancakes OMG the Cajeta and lechera pancakes were a perfect ending and.....AND capitalize it AND great prices. Under this dumb ass economy I proudly didn't vote for anyways not political review. Ok the only bad thing...tortillas!!!! It should come with it its very inexpensive item but I would ask customers would you like tortillas with it. An upgrade would be hechas a la mano that I wouldn't mind paying for extra but you guys got them use them. It is far ride from Summerlin but good to know this place near airport if I land in the morning and want a great bite to eat. Another hint hint...come up to Summerlin at the moment many Mexican American breakfast restaurants popping up Casa de Desayuno and Ellies come to mind...be the first to get the best place to live in Las Vegas

I recently tried this place for breakfast after a colleague chose it for us one weekday morning. I…read moredrive by here almost every day and, honestly, I had always assumed it was closed or possibly abandoned. My colleague had to point out the "Now Open" sign on the side of the front entrance. I rarely see many cars outside, so I genuinely hadn't realized it was open and operating. There are some positives. There's plenty of free parking, and the location at Sunset and Athenian is easy to access. The restaurant itself looks fairly large, although during our visit they were only seating guests on the left side. There wasn't a host; instead, a sign directed us to seat ourselves. Service was attentive and good throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the food was where the experience fell short. I ordered the steak and eggs and requested my steak medium. I actually ordered it that way intentionally because, historically, diner-style restaurants tend to overcook steaks a little, so I figured I would end up somewhere around medium-well. Unfortunately, my steak arrived well overcooked, dry, and disappointing. The hash browns that came with my breakfast also tasted like they had been frozen rather than freshly prepared. My colleague ordered the Green Chilaquiles with Carne Asada and had a similar experience. Her carne asada was also overcooked and dry, and the chilaquiles themselves were quite dry, with only a small amount of green sauce. She did say the beans were tasty, so those were a bright spot. They also offer a few different mimosa flights, which I thought was a fun and unique idea. We tried them but didn't particularly care for the flavors...that part may simply come down to personal preference rather than anything being wrong with the drinks. Pricing was moderate, but considering the quality of the food we received, I didn't feel the experience offered particularly good value. The service was attentive, parking was plentiful, and the mimosa flights were a creative touch. Unfortunately, with both of our main dishes coming out dry and overcooked, I don't see myself returning for breakfast.
